The best Real Ale bar in Warrington!

Great choice of real ales but frosty atmosphere. Must have visited on the wrong day.

If you can't make it to the stadium the next best place is The Tavern for a Warrington atmosphere. I can't rate the food because they don't have a kitchen.

Great choice of well kept beers in a busy "proper" drinkers pub. Can be a bit chilly inside over Winter though !

Great local pub that serves as a tap room for the 4t's brewery up the road. A good selection of local and brewery cask beers along a decent selection of guest beers both on keg and cask. As a sports bar it has a good number of TVs both inside and out the back that show a range of sports, but especially Rugby League and premiership football.

An apprentice reunion brought mr here yet again. Great selection of real ales. Good atmosphere. On a night in November the place was like a sauna. Not sure what was going on with the heating.

This is a family member's longstanding "regular". Friendly service, always!

Better at quieter times at present - so if you're visiting casually to sample the ales, don't pick a time that clashes with a major sports event, as this is likely to be being shown on the big screen. That said, staff are generally helpful with a long track record of serving keen real ale fans.

Always a pleasure drinking here, choice of beers, ciders and spirits better than most and staff always pleasant..

Cozy place, the regulars and the staff where really friendly, up for a bit of a chat. Clean and tydy, and lots of choice for drinks. Sports stuff everywhere (Warrington Wolves Fans I think :D ) and a darts board and an outside area. Drinks were reasonable price too.

I do like this pub me and my boyfriend went here on new years eve and last night gets busy but it's a nice little pub and friendly bar staff you never wait long to be served

Great friendly bar and superb venue for sporting events on the TV. Excellent in guest ales and all other beverages. Totally recommended.
