for restaurant... constructive criticism... the prawn biryani I had yesterday was poor. that's the first meal I've ordered from you that wasn't excellent. "king" prawns were small, tough as leather (hard almost), and tasteless. too much rice and not enough sauce. wouldn't order that meal again but I am happy with everything else you've delivered and would order from the restaurant again.

Food was 40 minutes late. Cold! Burnt! I phoned restaurant. They were rude. Delivery driver was unhelpful and rude. I will be escalating for a full refund as food was not edible and a risk to eat as I’m pregnant!

All Food was freezing cold chips were chewy totally inedible. Won’t order from here again 😔👎

What can I say apart from …. This is the best Indian venue in Llanelli. As a matter of fact I would say this was the best anywhere in the uk. Really well cooked and delicious food. The quality is superb but also it’s all about the flavour and texture

Ordered food at 6:20 pm, estimated delivery time was 7:20pm. Phoned the restaurant at 7:40 to be told my food would be 5 minutes. Now 8:30 pm and still no sign of my food, customer service was awful, phoned again to be told it’ll be another 5 minutes. Food was delivered cold. Awful experience

Arrived JUST within the given time range (hour and a half) but the food was disappointing. All for supporting local businesses, but we had the chicken shakuti which tasted very bland. We also mistaking ordered chicken tikka main for £8.95 and it literally was 7 chunks of dry chicken tikka. Very over priced and had to microwave everything up. Disappointed but it may have just been a busy evening.

We just had a meal here, good service, food and welcome. The 5 of us had the special menu for £11.95 which included a starter, main, side and sundry. Great price and very tasty and satisfying.

Food was all cold and very bland no like taste to it, curry was horrible no spice or nothing too it, chips repeatedly fried so much oil dripping off them and so thick and hard from all the oil , horrible … onion bhajis was lukewarm but was only thing I could eat , terrible

What's the point in asking the customer what time you want it delivered when that goes straight out the window and turn up half hour later and cold. I will definitely definitely won't be using the sultan ever again very very disappointing

Surprisingly poor for Sultan. Never had a bad meal there before but half of this went in the bin. Onion bhajis were dry and powdery and korma suace was gritty and a very odd colour. Hopefully a one off, otherwise I'll be on the look out for a new go-to Indian!

The onion bhajis were stunning. Tikka masala was very red in colour but it was delicious either way. Pilau rice didn't seem authentic, more coloured boiled rice but still nice. Had a free poppadom too :) lovely food.

Lovely food, however, I ordered a chicken tikka main, thinking it was a chicken tikka curry, but I had dry chicken tikka. I think maybe make that more clear in the menu options. Food was amazing though!

rang the restaurant was put to hold 5 minutes. then the same staff told me meal will be there 14minutes. rang again as app said divered,which it wasnt delivered.arrived 30 mins later instead. Both Naan breads burnt black on underneath couldn't eat due to burnt taste. currys luke warm. rice was hot. not great 😕

Our food was delivered on time and at the perfect temperature plus the delivery driver was very friendly! The food was delicious, I knocked one star off for food quality and this was because of only one fault and that was my Naan Bread was burnt on one side .... if not for this it would have been perfect!

Be careful they charged me twice last week on my card and there excuse was its happened before not acceptable put me off going now .I had to wait over 20 minutes for a refund when called back in bad customer service need to work on there approach to customers as can be abrupt on the phone

We visited the Sultan on Wed 6th Nov 2023 and could not fault the service or food. Nothing was too much bother, the gentleman that served us was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, we would definitely recommend and if we are back in Llanelli we will go back.

Absolutely shocking service from the Sultan. My food was 45 minutes late and was cold within minutes of getting it on the plate. Communication was also awful, I had to chase to find out where my food was when my delivery time had passed by 15 minutes. Truly awful service from this restaurant.

Ordered on deliveroo. Really disapointing.I had kingprawn vindaloo and they were not king prawns and extremely chewy and inedible(more like chewy shrimp.)Vindaloo had a very very odd taste to it.Popadums were quite soft,and i also did not get my chutney tray whatsoever.Also the chilli nan had no flavour.Most will go in bin. I am in temp accomodation and wanted something nice to eat and at £42 i am so upset!! A good will gesture for tonights poor food would be much appreciated.

I enjoyed the heat from thier hot curry. 7/10 for flavour. Next visit they should concentrate on gourmet Indian cuisine to improve the flavours. Really enjoyed this best to offer in Llanelli thakyou. Will definitely return on next buisness trip...

First time I have ordered from here thinking quality of food would be better than other takeaways. Sadly I was wrong. Food under seasoned with no heat or hint of spice in the biryani. Sorry, I would not use again, but would recommend for speed of delivery and piping hot food.

Far too much cumin used in the dhall and curry! Chips were frozen! Chapati in a plastic bag so sweated on way! I’d give them another chance if they just paid more attention

Great place, staff helpful they helped us in with wheelchair and then put it out of the way until we were ready to leave. Food was lovely, large portions couldn't eat it all.
