The Sugar Tongue Cafe in Copeland

Popped in here last week with my family. It's has recently had a make over which as given the place a lovely modern look it's lovely and bright with a clean with a quirky look. Food was fantastic I had homemade lentil and bacon soup. Husband had pie pies gravy with chips. All freshly made and real chips which is a rarity these days. Son had hot bacon and cheese baguettes with chips . All cooked fresh to order and didn't wait long at all considering how busy the place was. The staff in there are so friendly and helpful. Your made to feel very welcome and the place has a lovely vibe about it. The bill was around £17 that was with 2 soft drinks and a pot of tea. Couldn't believe how cheap it was for homemade fresh food. Would recommend this wee gem to anyone .... Well done to all concerned in the sugar tongue cafe. Keep up the good work :-)

went here for a breakfast after hearing good reviews and may i say wasn't disappointed

La cafetería de la lengua del azúcar es el mejor café de la ciudad. El personal es amable y el café está muy limpio y ordenado, la comida es casera y gustos encantador! Para ser una pequeña cafetería tienen mucho que elegir y todo estaba delicioso, ir a la cafetería de la lengua de azúcar cada semana y yo no iría a ningún otro sitio ahora! No podría decir una palabra en contra

Esta fue una sorpresa, después de oír este pequeño café había cambiado de manos, decidimos darle un hidromasaje para un almuerzo para mí y mi esposo. Me dijo que había un desayuno durante todo el día, tuve la picadillo de carne de maíz, no sé su Bleu cordon bleu, pero fue un día frío, y fue un generoso sabroso ayudando a buena y menús de comida casera. Teníamos lattes, las tartas deliciosas pero, para ser sinceros, estábamos a lleno a comer otra cosa! Puedo decir sinceramente que sin duda vale la pena un descenso de, no para grupos grandes, como el interior es muy pequeña. Pero nos visitan más a menudo y buenos precios, personal amable, limpio y ordenado, no me puedo quejar.

Defiantly the best cafe in Whitehaven. Real homemade food fresh and very tasty. Homemade cakes to die for. Staff are very friendly and efficient ...... Highly recommended

really enjoyed the food which was freshly cooked the homemade cheese burger and real chips were amazing plus we got extra on the plate i.e cold pasta , salad , rice the staff were really lovely we felt really comfortable great hot choc aswell we will be back
