ordered at 4pm for delivery for 530pm still waiting im unwell hence why i have placed an order for delivery my kids have been waiting for there tea. i had t call shop at 550 to be told hasnt left shop an wont b long. i ordered at that well in adsvnce

Order arrived early but I felt like we got the last of the batch. The food wasn’t at its usual standard unfortunately

one supper was missing chips, they did sent some but half of them weren’t cooked, pretty disappointing.

Absolutely abysmal delivery. An hour and a half late. Had to phone and be told they “missed” our order. Extremely disappointed.

part of the order was missing and food was cold. which I can't understand seeing the shop is 15 minutes along the road from me. won't be using again.

if you like over cooked dark chips this is the chip shop for you , my first visit will not be back , what is it with asians they just cant do chip shop food

Worst chips I’ve ever had from a chip shop in my life. Daughter had chicken goujons and chips - unsure if this was a coincidence or not but she was throwing up at 3 in the morning, all the signs of food poisoning, however, this is unconfirmed by a doctor!

Food was ordered at 17:54 and was delivered at 19:42 food was lukewarm at best.

Covered in grease, over cooked batter and fish didn’t taste fresh. Pizza dripping with grease

Disappointed in the quality of the meal. The chips were very brown, sweet and bruised, and just looked very old. The fish cake ended up in the bin because it was colder inside and just really lacked. I wouldn't order from here again.

chips were cold and in edible fish was edible, lot of money for most of it going in the bin.

This was the first time that the food wasn’t up to scratch. Overcooked and cold sadly. Everyone can have a bad day, I’ll be back for sure.

Ordered at 4.30, delivery expected at 5.10. First came at 6.25, cold and half order missing. Was told would be remade and delivered. Finally arrived at 7.20. Restaurant apologetic got a bottle of irn bru

First time eating from the steeple and will defo be back! Crispy fish, roasting hot. Burn the mouth off you roasting when it arrived. Everything neatly packaged no leaking curry sauce or anything. Overall a really good meal and very impressed considering this is the cheapest fish supper in the toon!

Food was great as always! However the delivery driver did attempt to open the front door of the house before even knocking on the door, as someone who lives alone it was quite an alarming thing to happen

Chips were ends and overdone. Food was overly greasy and also left an oil film over the roof of mouth

Smoke sausage supper served fast polite and excellent meal. 5/5. Good for takeaway delivery too. Be back soon.

good food, however woman who called on the phone to say my address was wrong was rude, abrupt and told me i needed to change my address as we had wrote flat 17 which they were trying to buzz. flat was in fact written as flat 3 as the block is 17 dens road so unsure if a misread on their part. also was a male who came to the door so unsure if just a passenger making the phone call - just one to be cautious of.

I'm really fussy about fish & chips, so I was reluctant to try a new shop. However, after a recommendation from my neighbour I tried the Steeple. One of the best (if not THE best) fish supper that I've ever had. If you've not been then get yourself along and see what you are missing

For the special burgers there isn’t an option to turn into a meal but apart from that the burgers were great

Great fast food at competitive prices. We have not had a bad meal yet have been using since it opened.

Fish dry, chips rubbery, batter chewy not crisp. So not the usual offering. Had better.

Great chippie nearly £2 cheaper for fish supper than what you are at bottom of the town and just as good

Worst chippy ever! 2hour wait for delivery rude staff when i phoned , then everything hard like a brick and cold had to send back away to spew my non existing food up 🙄🤡thanks steeple........pr*ks

Food was good, delivery driver was great. My only little gripe is that we asked for salt and vinegar in the comment box but didn't get any which was a bit rubbish as we were in a caravan for the weekend so had none of our own to add.

Yet again missing cans of pineapple juice

I've ordered 2 pizzas 1 margarita and 1 peperoni, unfortunately I received 2 peperoni pizzas and they were too brown, too salty and just not tasty...

Order took nearly an hour,the sausage was a battered hotdog 🤢 the chicken nuggets very cheap in quality. The chips were good. Kids "box and toy" was a wrapped up sheet of brown paper minus the toy

First and definetley last time ill be back. the chips look asif they have been lying there for months. burnt and cold!! even at that could taste some type of cleaning product of the chips how you would ever sell chips like that is a disgrace. Not happy atall.

Food is lovely from the chip shop…however delivery is very slow 1hr50mins from ordering….also on just eat it says “make it a meal” and no link to click?

Usually order from here but won't be ever again on the account of my food being 15 minutes late then not even getting an apology from the delivery driver upon arrival and infact when I tried to address it he gave me attitude back and told me 'he's just the delivery driver' aye and it's his job to deliver the food ON TIME. Won't be back and was a regular customer. Shocking.

Went down at pick up time and still waited 25mins. Got a single instead of a supper. And wrong sauce on my burger. Place was busy but staff were flying about abit all over the place. Food still amazing.

Ordered 2 x pizza and chips at 16.47.. eventually arrived after multiple phone calls arrived at 19.25. I do appreciate the half price refund & the free juice. The food quality though was average at best, will not be back!!

The only good thing about this meal was the bar cola juice as they didn't make it. All the food tasted like it was re-fried.

First time collecting instead of having it delivered, and couldn't fault it. The chips were really good and hot. Between us we had Fish, Black Pudding and a single fish for the dogs to share. We agreed it was the best supper we've had in ages

The chips were terrible, King rib had no taste and the batter was soggy on the fish.

Food was great and girls behind counter are lovely can't really rate the atmosphere as it's pretty hard to get one in a local chippy lol. Defo 5 star food thought

I don’t know who said Famous Fish And chips, I certainly won’t be back, maybe the famous is not meant to be complimentary….

First few times going there was absolutely fantastic and could not a bad word about the place. As time has went on it has slightly got bad. I have received my order in a soggy box that was physically stuck to the food. Have spoken to manager few times on the phone and they were quite rude.

Our chips and gravy and chips and curry sauce ended up coming out of containers due them being put on their sides rather than flat in bottom of bag

Pretty good, probably best in Arbroath now. We're from Montrose and are spoilt by having the best chipper in Angus - Quayside of Gourdon.

Easy to order from website and good choice of food. Food arrived very promptly and was piping hot due to the fact it was so well wrapped with a foil blanket inside the bag. Everything was tasty and the onion rings were superb.

Arguably the worst fish and chips Iv ever had. The fish was stone cold and dry, the chips were absolutely stinking. Threw the thing out the window for the street cats but honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they reject it aswell.

Food was barely warm and very bland. Chips felt as if they had been re heated. Most of the food went into the bin as it was delivered late.

Delivery window was 6.40-7pm. When I called just after, the girls said she was waiting on delivery man coming back. This was confusing as if he was out in that window, the food would have been with him. And when it came it was very soft, not crispy like other places. Won’t return
