Such a fantastic brunch spot. Am a regular here and have never been disappointed 😊 Difficult to pick a favourite from the menu as everything is so good! Coffee is amazing too. They get their beans from Hot Numbers, you can actually buy the beans there also.

Was meeting a friend in the area so decided to have a beer and a chat here. Service was good and the space was clean. In general the place had a good atmosphere.

The setting was lovely, the service pleasant enough and the food arrived promptly. What's not to like? Well, the fact that for £14 the all-day breakfast consisted of one small sausage, one piece of bacon, one piece of toast (cut in half, so served as two separate pieces), two small eggs and a spoonful of baked beans! Oh, and a slice of black pudding and a *single* mushroom. Luckily my wife didn't want all of hers, so I ate her egg and half a piece of her toast; but we both left still feeling hungry. I mentioned this to the waitress who served us but she wasn't remotely concerned, so I doubt anything will change. A nice spot for a coffee and a chat but don't go if you want to be fed properly.

If you’re stopping off for a quick BLT and a half larger this is not your stop. Innovative combinations with thought to both taste and texture makes theses dishes worth trying and coming back too. The ginger and lime lemonade was a delight. The only downside for me was the pairing, the lemonade with the beetroot was a failure and solely on me. Trad Poached eggs were perfection.

Visited for a quick business coffee recently. However, have been a number of times previously for food and drink and it’s always a hit. Staff always friendly and the place has a buzz about it. Love it.

Coffee was excellent! Highly recommended flat white served exactly how it should be. Breakfast was delicious ingredients and beautifully presented. A lovely place all round. Super friendly staff thank you so much.

During our stay in Histon we went there for breakfast every day. Food is perfect (I even think the cook is world champion in cooking poached eggs). Service very attentive and friendly.

If waffles are truly “homemade,” ours must have been several days old. Plus, quite small for the price. Too much acidity in the juice to appreciate the flavors.

Good breakfast and brunch menu. +Lunch bowl is a very good size, great ingredients, poached eggs cooked perfectly 🥰 Shakshouka + big portion, with 2 poached eggs, I've added extra feta cheese and bacon(next time, probably just feta). - not spicy enough, and I'll probably prefer pitas with it, rather than sourdough Overall, it's a great place, I'll strongly recommend it and come back again.

Lovely brunch here and they accommodated our large group well. Really enjoyed eggs Benedict on a waffle base.

Nice place to stop for a meal along the guideway. Several lunch options that I’d never tried before. I chose the shoushaka and it was delicious. The brunch options included traditional favourites. Others had Turkish influence too but generally with the option to add bacon. Lots of drinks options including alcohol and not.

Relaxing place for a chat with friends. Nice setting, super service and lovely scones. been three times and all enjoyable

Food looks lovely, but only had an almond croissant with "hot numbers" coffee, hence giving 3 stars, lovely place to go for coffee with my lovely sister in law 🥰 will definitely be back soon for lunch. Been to hot numbers roastery in shepreth. Fab place to go. Will be there when we have a bit more time. Thankyou 🥰

This was our first visit and won't be our last! Dog friendly inside and out. Serving delicious Hot Numbers coffee. Really interesting menu. Very friendly and welcoming service. What a gem!

Nice little place with good quality options, however the prices are a bit off putting, almost £30 for two drinks and a couple of bacon/sausage baguettes doesn’t represent value for me.

Have visited a few times now and have always found the service and food very good. I'm sure a lot of people are now feeling the pinch of the incredible hike in prices but feel that the prices being charged here are quite high. I don't think that any of the basic ingredients of the food being offered are that highly-priced but feel that they could well out-price themselves if not careful. Just my view here.

So glad we booked a table because it was very busy (and we can understand why!) The drinks were lovely, especially the orange and clementine juice. There was a great variety of food on the menu and we were very pleased with what we ordered

Food is beautiful here but the service is shocking. I have just stood here and waited 20 minutes for 2 take away coffees. There’s not a single sense of urgency from The staff here whatsoever it’s actually funny to watch them stroll around like it’s empty in there.

This spot is perfect location next to the guided bus route. It is gleaming with potential and happy customers. With a big outdoor seating area accompanyed by a lovely view.

A small cafe which is popular and therefore very busy. I'd recommend booking in advance. Also dog friendly with outdoor seating. I love the food here.

What friendly, supportive servers! They're nice to each other, nice to the dogs and kids and families and people on their laptops. They even proactively look for ways to make people comfortable, going out of their way to do nice things even when things are going along just fine. Very grateful for great servers.

I have only recently discovered Histon Station House, even though I've known it has been there a few years. I've been there with my wife a few times now in the last month or so. It's been a great place to stop on a bike ride with lovely staff and menu. I highly recommend trying it out.

Very tasty brunch. I had the cream cheese stuffed French toast which are to die for.

Just outside of Cambridge, nice walk and near a bus route. Coffee used is Hot numbers, which seems to be on the more acidic side. Staff were very helpful and did not take long for the food to arrive after ordering. Had the stuffed French toast with lemon Mascarpone filling and fruit on top. A really nice decadent flavour, I just wish the toast had been a little thicker!

First up in our capuchino was hardly any coffee. It was more like baby chino. So I gave my cup to the waitress and said so sorry this has no coffee it seems, or I asked for another shot of coffee, she said it is best I give you espresso which we agreed. We'll two issues first they charged us another £3 or whatever for the shot!! When the coffee arrived it was just milk with some bitter cacao on top without asking ask weather we wanted or not. This was I believe so that you have a bit of taste of bitterness. Extremely disappointed we had breakfast there after 3 failed success to get in for breakfast. It was our first visit. So my breakfast I had poached egg and shamelessly half a avocados is advertised for something like 2.95 if you want that on your bread!! Which makes tge full avocados nearly £6. I am all for 100% or 200% profit for any shop. However, for a noisy small cafe in histon Road to charge their avocados more than ivey or anywhere in the middle of Cambridge is ridiculous. It was our first visit &:we were testing it to go with family & with friends but we won't be visiting. When we shared the news with friends, they all said they have heard it from another friend!!

A super place, very friendly and attentive staff. I sat outside on a cold, clear sky morning and was offered a blanket. My coffee arrived extra hot and had delicious Turkish eggs.

My cycling buddy has a real eye for a good Cafe (I've told him he should write the definitive cyclist's guide). And his requirements are pretty straightforward: good food, excellent coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly service (oh, and somewhere to secure your bicycle). Histon Station House excelled in all of these areas. Some Cafes, while being very good, have quite a frenetic atmosphere but here the staff made everything quite soothing with their unhurried, attentive service. The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent... oh, and if you choose to arrive by bicycle, they even have a secure bike park out front. Highly and warmly recommended.

We’ve been a few times now, mainly for lunch, but I think I’ve nearly always had an eggs Benedict because it’s good. Our latest visit was on New Years Day & the food & service was great as usual.

Nice and cozy location and surroundings, food was very nice indeed and good value. Staff are friendly, would definitely recommend this place.

Such a great place for a Sunday Brunch. Just a shame that I don't get to visit more often. Unfortunately, Shakshuka is no longer on the menu, but the Turkish Eggs were absolutely lovely.

Disappointing - a potentially great setting with pleasant staff let down by very mediocre coffee and an apple & cinnamon shortcake that appeared to be missing its named ingredients. Everyone else seemed happy so maybe just my poor choices.

Booked a table for brunch/breakfast and first time visiting. Well what can I say, outstanding service, food and atmosphere. All staff were very very welcoming and accomodating. We will visit again. It is one of my favourite places now. Thanks.

Lovely cafe inside the old station. It's been done out beautifully. Look out for the striking kettle lights. The staff were very accomodating and friendly as we arrived close to closing time and had a very active toddler. Very yummy cakes, the Brownie and the Flapjack with white chocolate and berries were very good. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great spot with a lovely outdoor eating area. It was a busy Friday lunchtime but the staff did engage with us to seat us and take our order quickly. The food took about 20 minutes and was very good quality. The smashed avocado in particular was very good. We ordered 4 coffees which came after the food and lukewarm. We had asked for these extra hot so asked the lady server if they could be reheated. We got quite an abrupt attitude with her feeling the cups to say she thought they were hot. She eventually did offer to remake but I don’t think these were made with love. Thankfully the male server brought these back and was apologetic. Would like to try again when not as busy to hopefully get a better experience.

Shockingly slow service on both occasions I have visited, staff making coffees and teas are busy busy whilst other staff wonder around aimlessly. Took that long to take order and make coffees we had to ask them to put them in take away cups (half an hour from been seated to bringing coffee is taking the p**s) Waffle on first visit was dry and tasteless not to mention overpriced for a bought in waffle that’s been heated up! Wouldn’t recommend as a coffee shop although main menu seems to be the customers they are aiming for!

I've visited for lunch and coffee/cake on several occasions usually as a stop on a cycle ride . Nice modern food and as a cyclist I appreciate being given a bottle of water without asking. Also good that racks are near. The food is lovely and the service is great. The ginger cake is exceptional. Moist and made with fresh grated ginger. Maybe the best I've ever had. Scones came with pea shoots which is a nice touch. A regular stop for me.

Great atmosphere, service and value for money.

A very nice and cozy place. We got a cappuccino decaf and a mocha. They were both very good. Fast service. Ideal stop if you are waiting for the bus, which stop is just 1 minute away in both directions (both number 8 and the bus way). Looking forward to having a meal there next time!

We were really looking to our first visit as had heard good things about The Station House. Whilst the food was lovely, unfortunately the service let the whole experience down from start to finish - Generally quite slow. Orderer 2 drinks, only 1 arrived. Food arrived, no cutlery/sauces. Asked for the bill which was then incorrect. Staff seemed inexperienced and inattentive. Will give it another go at some point and hopefully will be able to give a much better 2nd review!

Cant recommend the Station House enough. Fabulous freshly cooked food. He 🩵 had traditional breakfast, I had crushed avocado, pesto, smoked salmon, etc on sourdough. Absolutely yummy. Service spot on! Coffee and red wine 👌. Plenty of seating in and out. Will definitely return if our breakfast/brunch today was anything to go by, to work our way through the menu. 💯😍😘

The place was fairly busy (Friday, 1:30pm), not crazy, most of the clients seemed to be "socializing" more than eating. The food was good, well prepared and presented, but VERY slow to arrive. Wouldn't like to arrive hungry, and with limited time, during the "lunch hour"... The Espresso was not so great, luke-warm and quite bitter. Staff very pleasant and friendly.

Wonderful place, the best breakfast and coffee in the area. Quick professional service, cozy seating, everything was just right. It's now my place for brunch/breakfast.

Really good food yet poor and very slow service. In fact latter, left a bitter taste in our mouths resulting in us leaving and most likely not coming back again. Blue hair lady taking control in taking orders while other staff seems to be a bit lost and not doing much. I understand this is done to control the flow and not to overwhelm the kitchen but when you are told that there is a 20 min wait on the drinks it makes you wonder if it is personal! Not the first occasion either. Bearing in mind the nature of the business, it shouldn't take that long to make a coffee that's for sure! Have no issue waiting whatever takes for food, as long as there was a warm welcome and drinks on the table. Great place for brunch spoilt by one individuals attitude!

Hate to single individuals out, but unfortunately it’s turned totally rotten (in terms of service) since the lady with the coloured hair appears to be running things. She’s awful!!! Made to feel like you are an inconvenience, spend 15 minutes waiting for drinks orders to be taken despite multiple polite requests, and then told it will take 20/25 mins for our coffees to be made haha!! Spoken to like we were children and a passive aggressive undertone throughout. Needs reminding she’s in a customer facing environment!!! This is the second time In the last month we’ve received almost exactly the same experience, from the same individual - won’t be making the mistake a third time by returning again!!! (Shame as the food is solid…)
