I love this place, I am always searching for truly peaceful places and this is one of them. It is way off the road, with a beautiful view from the house. It is small and cozy and everything we needed for a respite after a busy week of work at a near by festival. We intend to come back every year. The hosts are also lovely and very accommodating

What an amazing place… absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Park house that we stayed in was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. A fabulous location, we will definitely be booking again…thank you for everything :)

Great location, very easy check in and super communication with the owners. The Orchard Studio had everything we needed for our stay, as well as a lovely view of the local wildlife in the evening and morning. We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed exploring the grounds with the lovely woodland and old Victorian walled garden.

The Pump house was great for a mixed generation family weekend away. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and made up according to our requirements. The hosts provided us with milk and eggs along with tea, coffee, sugar etc. Would recommend for a family gathering or group of friends. The grounds and wooded area are lovely for a walk and the house in a peaceful location.

This was our second time staying at the Stable House, beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We plan to come back next year too.

I stayed in one of the studios in the courtyard Aldaniti. It was perfect! Recently refurbished to a high standard and a great view of the lamas! I'll be back.

A wonderful place to get a coffee and some of the BEST cake for miles around! Eleanor and Neil are so kind and friendly, and the place itself is beautiful with a panoramic vista of the fields around.

We are always so well looked after during coffee club at the stable house - fantastic coffee and cakes and always such friendly service. It’s like going for coffee at a friends house!

So accommodating! Great prices! Really friendly vibe as soon as you walk in, with lovely coffee and gorgeous homemade cakes! X

Eleanor & Neil welcomed us & made us delicious coffee in between shows on the two show days of Singing in the Rain at Kilworth House Theatre. It really made our time here special. Thank you x

Stunning location with beautiful views and a lovely wood nearby. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The owners are a delight to talk to and there’s a barn on site that I have also used as a meeting room for work. Will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a fantastically relaxing weekend at Park House, part of The Stable House. We chose here as it’s a central location for a weekend break for a group of 5 friends who live all over the country. It was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking available. The cottage is in the grounds of Kilworth House, a beautiful countryside setting. Everything was provided, the beds were super comfortable and the host, Eleanor, was so friendly and accommodating. We are already planning a return visit.

We recently had an overnight staff retreat at the Stable House. It was a wonderfully relaxing and productive time due to the beautiful location and the attentiveness of the staff to meet our needs during our stay. The food for our lunches and dinner was excellent and plenty of it, all freshly made on the premises with all dietary requirements catered for. They also serve good quality coffee and freshly baked cakes for the break times. The staff worked endless and cheerfully to make the stay very pleasant. The grounds also provided the opportunity for walks and team building.

I managed to arrange a family gathering which is not easy as my 4 children are widely spread. I was delighted with this stay, such a lovely setting, excellent communication and help when needed, calm, peaceful and tranquil place. Felt like we were being hugged. We occupied the Pump house.

This place has my absolute heart. Everything was perfect. The airbnb was so cosy, the views are incredible, the surroundings and just everything was amazing! The animals were a bonus - they are so friendly! Cant wait to return, I’ve had the best time.

The team at Stable House have hosted many different events for us and everytime we are so blessed by how smoothly each event goes. Their gift of hospitality shines through in all the effort and detail they put into hosting and accommodating us all.

Great place to stay in the Midlands countryside! It was our second stay there. We really love the peacefulness and the view over the field and farm animals!

A very comfortable and relaxing stay in the Pump House, warm, clean and perfect for our family get together. Lovely accommodating hosts from booking to leaving! We'll come again!

I visited the Stable House to get away from the stresses + manic pace of modern life and I was not disappointed. In fact when driving away I found it hard to drive fast enough to satisfy other road users!! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for time to recharge their batteries.

A wonderful night stay at the Stable house Sea Biscuit room. Views were refreshing and walk around the grounds to see the horses and Lamas were stunning! Eleanor and Neil were wonderful hosts and made us feel uplifted and welcomed. Thank you for having us, we will be back!

Stayed here as a group of 10 of us all in the same property had a great time set in lovely private grounds and the barista made us a lovely coffee in the separate coffee house would definitely return

Truly a retreat home ! I booked for 2 nights but extended a third day … so relaxing … The views from outside my French windows at the “sea biscuit “ were so green and soothing . Stanley and Meeka the ponies and the 4 Alpacas kept my kids engaged to the point where a tv and devices were not missed. Villa was very comfortable. I enjoyed the long walks around the acres of lush green. Just 25 minutes from the city ,conveniently located . I am looking forward to bringing extended family over to stay at the “park house” in April . Would highly recommend it for vacation. The lovely host Elenor bakes scrumptious cakes and goodies at the coffee house, make sure to indulge. Jared was very helpful and did all possible to make our stay comfortable , very accommodating .

We absolutely loved everything. The accommodation was very cosy and well equipped. Eleanor (the host) is so friendly and responded quickly to our queries. This is a perfect gateway from the city! We really enjoyed bird watching from the sofa and walks around the farm. Highly reccomend for a peaceful and relaxing break, you won't regret it😊

A wonderful place for a family getaway. We had three families stay in the Clock House and there was ample room. Thank you for having us! Highly reccomend as the best accommodation for family reunions.

Wonderful few days away with girl friends. Loved the communal sitting/dining area with underfloor heating. Treat to have own bathrooms in all bedrooms. House well stocked and good amenities. Large tv with Netflix and Prime available much appreciated. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Booked at very short notice due to changes in plans. The owners were very accommodating and the room was spotless on arrival. Ideal location for our needs, all communications were timely and all descriptions etc were very accurate. Would definitely recommend.

Had the most magical stay here. Eleanor and Neil are so welcoming. Lots of places to walk around, a coffee club and great facilities. Room was lovely with lots of individual quirks that made it a memorable stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights the place is so amazing and the hosts are fantastic .. You feel like you are a million miles from anywhere yet so close to London by car or train.Just to look at the country side and it being so green made my stay so refreshing.

Thank you for the lovely relaxing and peaceful few days in the Orchard Studio, where it was cosy and comfortable with a well equipped little kitchen . As usual Neil and Eleanor your welcome surpassed all our expectations and to have a Outdoor Theatre with a Westend Show , Hairspray just across your driveway was just amazing.

The perfect place for a retreat day, a short stay or just for a good cup of coffee. Neil and Eleanor couldn’t be better hosts, and the location is superb. We’ve enjoyed organising two retreat days here, as well as staying in one of their homes for a long weekend and we couldn’t recommend it more!
