Wonderful selection of cakes + great coffee. Stopped here to grab lunch and enjoyed a really nice takeaway quiche, some very tasty tiffin and a great cup of coffee. Prices reasonable and the service could not be more friendly

Friendly staff greeted us midweek lunch out. I had a ham salad sandwich (£5) and my husband had chicken & chorizo sandwich (£5.50) both on lovely brown bread. They came with coleslaw and crisps, they were both absolutely delicious. We had a bottle of tap water and 2 black coffees. The bill came to £14. There was also a selection of reasonably priced hot meals, cakes and ice creams. Will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend a visit here.

My friend has moved to Great Glen and we discovered this little tea room. It is absolutely amazing! The service comes with a smile! We had the Sunday lunch and for starters we had the prawn and salmon cocktail. It was fresh and very tasty. The roast dinner was of good quality. I think I am going to be coming here more than my friend! It’s a family run business and you can really see the passion in providing good service and good food! oh and Grandmas treacle tart is to die for! The atmosphere is beautiful and you really feel a sense of happiness around.. Discovered a gem!

We (a lady friend and I) dropped into Dolly's in the course of a fairly gentle stroll through the village of Great Glen and its environs. It revived memories of that dying breed, the friendly village "caff". Dolly's is welcoming ,cheerful, friendly and even attracts a fair sprinkling of bona fide villagers. We had a very well cooked breakfast served with a smile. Perhaps Dolly's is too near Leicester for the pursuit of "liaisons dangereuses" (I do not speak from experience!) but far enough away to escape the "madding criowd". We just dropped in but one could make a visit to this cafe as the whole point of the trip.

I have visited this cafe twice now in the last three months, based on the reviews I read and i was not disappointed. This is a lovely village cafe, everybody is very friendly, the service is great and the food is fab. I have never written a review before but felt I should make the effort like the people whose reviews pointed this out for me. Will be back each time I collect my son from University.

I visited Dolly’s tea rooms for the first time recently as a party of 3. We hadn’t booked as we were just popping in for coffee and cake but when we arrived we found there were only 4 tables in the whole of the tea rooms, 2 of which were occupied, 1 was reserved and so we sat at a tiny table in the window.

Really nice, quaint little tea room. Surprisingly different menu from other cafe's and a nice, welcoming atmosphere. Staff were really nice and interacted with my daughter who can sometimes be phased by other people. I really felt like the staff went above and beyond for us by doing things like putting marshmallows on my daughters ice cream and giving her serviette's to make her feel like she was having a picnic.

We enjoyed a great breakfast here a few weeks ago. Very impressed by the nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient service and the lovely food. So much so that we have since returned for two Sunday lunches and another breakfast. The lunch was great : lovely home-style cooking with "proper" meat, not the thinly sliced supermarket stuff that you get at some places. All served piping hot with crispy roast potatoes, home-made Yorkshire puddings, rich gravy and vegetables that were cooked to perfection. We will be back again soon!

The breakfast selection is great and they also do lovely sandwiches and hot dishes. The friendly staff also cater for children and do lovely hot chocolates, juices, little cakes and smaller portions which work well for parents who know their children may not want a lot to eat.

The Tea Room of Great Glen. We Have been there twice . 1 st time in the very first week of opening. Nice and cosy . Great food choice. They make their own cakes except cup cakes. Milk shakes seems to be very popular amongst children. Believe it or not ...they serve Breakfast too. Food standard is very good with the plenty of choices for a little tea room. Soon they may have to take over the next door to expand to accommodate the demand. They are open seven days a week. Very very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

When I wrote a review for this delightful venue in August I had no idea that I would have the opportunity to revisit in September but our coach once again stopped in MH for a break so I hot footed it to Ruffles and experienced the same welcome as previously. They offer a variety of themthe most delicious home made scones as well as other goodies. Helpful staff, great service. I really enjoyed my tea and scone and maybe one day the coach will stop at MH again. This town has so much to offer, and is well worth a visit.

It’s one thing to have good food made fresh, but to have it alongside amazing customer interaction/service just makes it better! Especially for a joyous wedding function - honestly Jonnie and his team are fab - will definitely be using the pizza shack for more functions in the future!! P.s still thinking about the cheesy garlic bread

I am so glad this place is back to what it is. Post-covid they tried just being a deli and a grocers and the whole of lutterworth missed it. There is nowhere else for us that matches it. The food today was as good as ever, the ultimate breakfast sandwich defeated both that attempted it and we spent a few bob after browsing the fine foods shelf. We've missed you guys and whenever we are back I'm the area we love a quick visit. We did have to wait a little today (which we were warned to be fair). Negative for me today , my latte was with not particularly nice coffee and had quite an amount of coffee grounds in the bottom. This will definitely not stop us from revisiting
