We had rhe Sunday carvery. There were 9 of us. Best carvery ever. Also one of our party was a vegetarian with a wheat intolerance and they did a lovely meal for her. If you are down in North Devon I recommend calling in.

I drank at the lion inn for a couple of years and was constantly harassed by the local idiot. One evening the local idiot threatened and attacked me as l tried to leave,, avoid this pub at all costs !

21 The Avenue, Minehead, TA24 5AYStay away if coeliac! Saw reviews that they offered gluten free and as my wife is coeliac we thought great let’s go. However, when asked if they offer gluten free the first woman had no clue, the second huffed like we were an inconvenience and the third said most people have a jacket potato cheese and beans but couldn’t tell you if beans were gluten free. There was also a man there with no clue either so if you coeliac do not eat here. We walked out and won’t be back!
