Good beer selection and great atmosphere!

Attractive bar in the revitalised Underbank area of Stockport. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. Tried a couple of the beers but neither particularly good unfortunately. They seemed to be cloudy craft ales rather than a decent cask ale which would have been very preferable.

Lovely staff and great atmosphere along with the contingent in the bar. Only downside was a silly man with a hat on throwing himself about at the bar. If you have any sense, heed my words and banish the heathen that was this (pillock) man.

Fab little bar that made me the best margarita I’ve ever had. The staff were so lovely - we will be back!

We came here for a lovely sunny Foodie Friday evening and sat outside. We were served nice strong cocktails that were well mixed. And Mahou. The staff were friendly and efficient and the vibe was chill with lots of groups of people just hanging. Atmosphere would get an extra star if they had some music ☺️

Great little bar in the heart of stockport underbanks. Lovely atmosphere, and we were looked after beautifully by Matt and Eve. Good selection of beers and wines. Pop in and try it. Good to see what's happening in the underbanks and this little gem is very much part of it. Worthy of your support.

For a new bar (love the mahou on draught),it needs to be cleaner. Still got plaster powder on the floor and just needs a mop. Only 1 toilet a massive minus for my wife. Love new bars but sadly needs tlc already

hands down the best bar in Stockport. nice crowd, good beers and no more expensive than anywhere else near by. Especially good when SK1 Records next door are pumping out the tunes. love it.

Reasonable prices and really great food

We first visited The Spinn in July last year, and have always received such amazing service, my little boy is the biggest fan! He is such a fussy eater and doesn't eat a wide variety of food, however will eat sausage and chips because they are from "The Spinn" 😊 He even chose it for his 7th birthday meal for all the family to come 😉 A very big special shout out to the wonderful Keira, she always goes above any beyond for my little boy! She treats him like a king and knows how much of a big deal it is for him to have the sausage and chips 🍟 You really make our visits to The Spinn so much more than you will ever know ❤️

Came for bank holiday weekend to visit Manchester and came here before our hotel and wow what great food it was! One of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted it was so good! The chocolate brownie too was amazing. Will definitely be coming back when we visit Manchester again. Highly recommend this restaurant

We came to Manchester for a long weekend from London and our first stop was Thespinn. The guy who served us was so lovely and welcoming and he gave us some good recommendations for our trip. The atmosphere was great and the burgers were unrealll!! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic afternoon of half price cocktails and great food. Celebrity personal trainer Stan Vaccari was eating here so you know the food must be good!

Went there and I asked for a hamburger with onions and ketchup when I took a first bite my mouth was on fire ( I'm allergic too jalapeño) . So we went back it and the manager was man handling the food and said whats the problem , so we told her and she said well its not happening again (giving us another buyer which we asked for ) . She looked my dad up and down because he was in his work clothes . Wouldn't recommend they judge people .

Went on a fundraiser night without knowing, pre booked as it was the only day we were all available. Music was way too loud to talk. Food was a like burger king but better. I enjoyed it.

Very nice place. We went on the last Saturday of September. They had a DJ on, great atmosphere and very busy. Got to meet Adam Thomas too! really nice guy.

Take away was awful, really need work to improve this. I've heard it's a lot better inside. I wouldn't waste your money on the take away here. For the price you can get a hell of alot better else where.

Visited for lunch one afternoon and had a lovely time. There are a wide range of options, and very accommodating for veggies. The food was lush and not bad value for money either. Atmosphere was good, although then music was slightly loud for an afternoon. On the whole a nice place to eat!

Loved it ... The Cheesburger was delicious and the Truffle fries were to die for. Highly recommend a visit here. You won't be disappointed X

Food is't the best , but lord its a long wait. staff are quite rude and always seem to be looking couning down till closing time

Excellent food and excellent service...

I have been a few times and the food is great however the service is awful, every time i have been there has been the wait for the food is long despite it almost always being pretty quiet. Also there is no drinks menu you are only given a cocktail menu but there is nowhere on the menu that displays their drinks so i had to ask if they did iced coffee . Overall, needs improved service and a drinks menu.

We swung by today for lunch. So so good. Chicken burgers were fit, a cheeky glass of wine and loved the Truffle chips. Cute vibe, music was right up my street and the service was stirling. Great little hidden gem!

We’ve had 2 takeaways from here in the last few weeks and they have been fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious 🤤 It’s not as cheap as a normal takeaway but you’re getting City centre quality delivered to you’re door! Well done to the team here at the spinn!

So glad this restaurant and all of hospitality has re-opened. Just disappointed they do not do deliveries or take away/pick up anymore. Deliveries were not something new and were available from day one. Not everybody can dine out so upsetting that they are not recognising those customers that helped businesses through the pandemic

We've eaten in at The Spinn a few times now and has always been excellent. In particular we love the burgers and the wraps, always spot on. We ordered food to takeaway this evening and everything about it was fantastic; on time great service, great taste, great packaging/presentation. Thanks so much and we'll see you again soon!

We came to The Spinn for the first time expecting to eat but left after a drink. The venue is good, staff are very friendly and the menu has a great selection. However, the atmosphere was way off - they had put on a DJ who was playing party tracks too loud. We couldnt hear ourselves think let alone speak. We will try The Spinn again but on a different night, hopeful that it will deliver.

Great homeade food very delicious highly reccomemd

Ordered twice and both times they have forgotten half of our order. As we ordered on Deliveroo, it was such a pain to sort out too. The restaurant wouldn't answer phones and the driver was not interested. Still not been refunded properly. Good burgers but absolutely terrible service.

Ordered from Deliveroo - the Big Vac(cine) burger and the Mac and Cheese burger, as well as the Cajun fries and Croquettes. Absolutely delicious on all counts - literally everything tasted amazing - and arrived in good time. Well worth it!

Food was great but last 2 times we ordered food has been missing. It was a burger last time at over £8 a pop its a lot to be missing.

Only cares about your money. Doesn’t care about your concerns. If something isn’t right then good luck trying to resolve it because they aren’t interested. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re desperate. I would honestly recommend McDonald’s over this place. They have no idea how to run a business.

Mediocre food, and terrible service. Got told I was a liar when I called back to report that the vegan burger had no salad. According to the owner, chefs don’t lie and customers do. £25 down for one soggy mac&cheese burger, one dry vegan burger and some greasy fries, that I ended up having to pick up since the delivery time was ridiculous. Stick to emmerdale mate, you’ve got a lot to learn about customer service.

We had 2 fantastic burgers with skin on fries last night. Quick delivery by Jamie the deliveroo guy. The burgers were tasty, filling, well presented and delivered hot. Will definitely be ordering again soon. Keep up the good work 👌👍😋

Absolutely amazing food. The quality is outstanding and very obvious. Rarely do I eat beef, but I ate every single scrap of the beef yorkie wrap. Fantastic, cajun chips with mayo seasoning. What a treat! THE spinn was highly recommended by my daughter, I was not disappointed at all. When lockdown is over, I will definitely be dining in here. Thanks to the team.x

Unfortunately it may not be The Spinn's fault, but somebody has to receive this review. I waited for about 2 hours to find out my food was declared as delivered by a Deliveroo driver. The Spinn told me to call Deliveroo, something not quite right about this process. I then had to hold and chat for about 40 mins, then order from somewhere else and wait another hour for that to arrive. Sort the process out, because this isn't acceptable, also food is overpriced, you'd think we were dinning in, not eating it at home (if it arrives).

I feel terrible leaving bad reviews as the burgers etc on your social media look really good, waited over 2 and half hours for my delivery to get cold food and a soggy burger! It had no cheese on it and the bottom bun had disappeared. Unfortunately I won’t be returning and now £30 down with food I didn’t eat.

We just popped down for a "last day of freedom" brunch and it was amazing. The Veggie Spinn breakfast is amazing, and you have to try cream cheese on you avo & poached eggs on sourdough, it's amazing! The staff were so lovely and everything was taken care of for covid safety 👌

Food was fantastic but the service was very slow. The place was full but only had 3 staff that we saw serving drinks and waiting tables.

Lovely food and atmosphere. The speed of service could be a bit quicker, but that doesn't spoil the occasion.

Food was great but had to ask for someone to take our order after half an hour waiting, food came out 45 minutes later, all this on a limited menu and some things were not available but we were lucky, another customer had food placed on their table for it to be taken away and given to someone else!!! We would of ordered desserts but we couldn't be bothered waiting, needs to try harder

10/10 from me!! Me and my Sister was in awe at the excellent customer service delivered to us by the waitresses on both visits. Background music selection was great- just at the right volume which created a lovely atmosphere. Excellent fresh quality of food. The highlight for us was the MacNcheese and Cheese burger. Well cooked, made with love and finger-licking-filling. Definitely won me and my Sister over! A Massive shout out to Adam Thomas who was very welcoming to us which enhanced our experience. The Spinn Restaurant is definitely the life of Gatley! Please visit this restaurant, you wont be disappointed!

The best Full English breakfast I’ve had! (The Full Spinn). All the food on the menu is amazing - there is a brunch menu with plenty to choose from, which then moves onto a lunch/dinner time menu and is ideal for just you, or small plates to share - if you want a bit of everything! I find The Spinn to have a really nice atmosphere with really friendly and attentive staff.

Visited The Spinn for a friends birthday. The service was good, friendly polite staff. Informative regarding the menu. Food came in good time, hot and looked lovely. The chips were lovely and crispy yet soft inside. I had the chicken wrap, it was very tasty and filling. My friend has the cheeseburger and was impressed, tasty burger and in her words ' a decent beef'. Didn't have room for desert, however the table next to us did and the biscoff cheesecake looked delicious. The place has a nice vibe, not too noisy and was fairly busy for a Sunday afternoon. The only downside was the hot chocolate, it looked amazing topped with Marshmallows and cream but the taste did not live up to the looks. It is an instant hot choc unfortunately.

Walked in to be told to “go outside it’s full”. Then after a few customers had left we took it upon ourselves to enter without any acknowledgement from staff. We were immediately told that if we want breakfast buns they’ve ran out and the normal menu didn’t start for another half an hour. I then asked for a menu and she said “you can check it on deliveroo” Overall the women was just outright rude. Been looking forward to coming here after seeing the food via Instagram, shame the poor customer service has let it down.

Second visit for brunch menu and once again really enjoyed the food. The full English is £9 with very good quality ingredients. I had the wonderfully spiced chorizo and sweet potato hash. This attracts a trendy crowd in the evenings and sells craft beers such as Camden. Sadly for me there is no real ale. One of 4 new bars to open in Gatley in last year or so.

The christmas lunch menu is delicious, also a nice atmosphere x

1. First time I visited menu was very limited so left with out having drinks. 2. Since this bar is owned by an ex Z lister the bar attracts scallys an large groups of youths loitering outside this down to the owner tweeting that there expecting some has-been in attendance. So as you expected they come in large groups expecting a glimpse of someone. I only know this down to picking up a takeaway next door an chatting with the owner that since the spin has opened trouble has started in the village and has never been so bad. To make matters worse the large group of youths thought it would be funny to smash the back tail light of my friends car cause he wouldn’t hand over his car keys. Do not visit this place as you will be intimidated by the scallys that hang around this place on a weekend !!

I will be telling everyone I know, not to go to this place. Apparently the Manager's have zub-zero management skills and have high staff turnover. Add's nothing to the community...

Staff quite rude 3 staff members told us last orders was 19.45 and they were closing at 20.00 and kept coming to thr table to remind us

Lovely little place with lovely atmosphere and decoration, place was busy, waitress was lovely but was acting needy towards me and my friend ordering food as she asked us twice. This was a big turn off. Would go again all in all.

Over priced and clearly just for yummy mummies in gatley, very disappointing

Was really looking forward to coming here on our first night in Gatley. Lovely decor, music too loud for us but lovely waitress turned it down for us. She is definitely an asset- very attentive, asked good questions, lovely smile and on the ball. Wobbly table that we sorted out with serviettes. Excellent Camden Pale Ale for hubby. I had a Prosecco and a Rioja. We had delicious and inventive corn ribs, a tasty halloumi wrap and fish tacos which were ok- slightly bland. Fries were supposed to be skin on but they weren’t and a rather small portion. Hubby would have liked patatas bravas or something to fill him up- we were starving after a day’s house moving! Gorgeous lemon and poppy seed cake and coffee to finish! Delicious!! More desserts would be good but the waitress said that was part of future plans. We’ll be back!!

Went with friends for lunch.Quite a wait for just wraps.They came eventually, Good But nothing else.No salad or garnish.Small portion for £6.95. Tea was weak.Lacked atmosphere. Friends chicken salad again just green salad with slices of chicken and dressing on too.big plate small portion. Definitely over price with limited snack menu.Would not recommend.

Girlfriend and I wanted to check out the new venue in town. Parking was an issue but as it’s a place aimed at locals I imagine most people walk here. You can tell from the chic decor that The Spinn is a new venue. It’s a small place however I did see stairs so maybe there’s a downstairs too. We ended up sitting next to the bar as the place was packed which is a great sign for the owners. Music was good maybe a little to loud for Saturday lunch time but that didn’t really matter. We ordered a few wraps, gin and a coffee(driving). The wait for food was over an hour but I think this was because the chef or produce wasn’t in yet. If that wasn’t the case then heaven knows why it took so long. However the food was lovely and filling. Waitresses were pleasant and the place had a chilled atmosphere which is perfect for us. We will go here again in the evening to check it out as there isn’t any places near by to our fancy.

Recently opened bar / restaurant in the heart of Gatley, lovely fit out with downstairs area with retro arcade game. From morning coffee, brunch to evening sharer plates and meal plus great cocktail and craft ales. Looking to hold live music on Thursday evenings i believe
