Waited for 2 hours for food, can’t even get through to speak with the Resturant and the food was okay at best nothing special, hard to see how it is rated local hero

Normally food is excellent but tonight was cold

Sadly not good this time. Prawn puree greasy and not all prawns shelled. Didn’t receive chips and roti. Onion bhaji overcooked. Chicken tikka jn naan dry and over-cooked. Chicken dhakeshwsri and rice both looked like reduced portions. Disappointing as usually good.

I order chicken tikka rolls regularly from here as they're normally the best you can get this but was a lot smaller than normal on this occasion. Still love the place though.

Food is always beautiful and service is good

Driver was highly abusive, swearing at me, first, and returning later to swear at my wife. Called Cafe Spice, who hung up on me, saying they were going to talk with him, but no return call. We used to be regular customers of this restaurant, but will never have anything to do with them again - also considering never having anything to do with Just Eat, whom we could not contact.

Oh my the portion sizes have shrunk a lot along with the naan bread size they used to be twice the size and the bhajees used to be round and u used to get 4 now only 2 I’m not sure I will continue using this restaurant any more x

I have used Cafe Spice and have never had a bad meal or service yet My only criticism would be that when I have a chicken tikka main or a shashlik I always have a veggie curry to compliment the mushroom rice I would be nice that the veggie curry was in a bigger tray so it had more sauce with it 👍👍👍

2 out of 3 rices were missing, completely ruined our curry night. Called the restaurant straight away and still no rice after an hour.

Placed an order for around £90 and every single bit of food that was delivered was finished it was that nice. The food quality was spot on along with the delivery being made sooner then expected with an extremely kind and friendly delivery driver! All round outstanding performance and will most definitely be ordering again. Thanks. Happy New Year

I did order my food at 07:06pm and delivered to my house at 09:28pm after I had to give them a call again to tell them that they haven’t delivered my food and the guy responded “he’s just leaving the kitchen now he will be there shortly” what a poor customers services !!!! 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Absolutely disgusting service. Order placed at 18.15, finally delivered at 20.40. Apparently due to being busy. No updates though, left to chase and delivered after the new delivery time. Food delivered cold and needed re-heating!!

Popadoms were stale and food was cold

It didn't matter that the food was late...we were kept informed which was brilliant. The food was really tasty...prawn on puree was perfect. Cannot fault any of the mains either. Really good quality. Thanks

Ordered 2 drinks one Fanta one cola, was sent two colas as they had no Fanta which was fine, until I noticed that one of the bottles of cola had been opened and drank out of. I informed the delivery driver who said be would be back. It's been over an hour now so I'm going to assume he's not coming. Food also had hardly any meat. Veg dishes had basically no veg as well. Seriously unimpressed and won't be ordering again! No wond rvth restaurant is always empty!

Delivery time was supposed to be 18.40. I eventually rang them at 19.20. It was delivered at 19.45 over 2 hours after the order was placed. The food itself was very nice, I would order from here again but the delivery time certainly needs improving on.

We use this take away on w regular basis and have always been really happy ,however tonight there was something missing from our order so had to ring up and get the missing item re delivered . Once that arrived and we sat down to eat the food was cold and the chicken rogan josh was so spicy that I couldn't eat it at all . This has really disappointed me as it was always one of our favourites .

Order was delivered ahead of the estimated time. Delivery guy was very friendly. Food was excellent and very good value for money.

The food cooking quality and freshness need to be improved

Curry nice but sides where cold and poppadoms where burnt and looked like a packet of broken crisps won't be going there again

1h 35m delivery time when the JustEat website quoted 45m (I live just 1.5 miles away), I got the usual apologies from the friendly delivery driver but no extras or discounts. I can't knock the food, it's class although slightly overpriced.

Never fail to deliver a excellent meal. Stuffed paratha was the most delicious I have ever had. Delivered early, meal was hot, food succulent and delivery man always cheery.

My favorite Indian restaurant ever!! Their tarka daal, keema naan and cheese naan are the bomb!! Any others we have had don't compete!

The meat in the lamb curry was a bit hard and disgusting. Seems I ordered early and got last nights left overs. Never usually had this problem but has put me off. Nann was lovely as usual but the meat in the curry wasn't right flavour of curry lovely bit what happened to the meat horrible meaf

Arrived no earlier than delivery time suggested. Chips and chicken tikka were not very warm at all, other than that good food quality with plenty of spice.

Food lovely as always. However delivery should have been at 9.15, the restaurant extended this time till 9.30. I tried calling and the restaurant and the phone just rang, no one answered. The food eventually arrived at 10pm. The delivery driver just said sorry we were busy.....

the food was bareley luke warm quoted 45-60 mins for delivery actually arrived 140 mins would recomend the 'chef' visit the Bengal Delight and learn how to cook and their customer service

Great food but service is awful, ordered at 7 and didn't arrive till 9.05

Can't comment on food quality, not received it 2 hrs after ordering...told will be 20 more minutes when rang to enquire.

When you start getting those extension on delivery times emails and it's getting silly. .you have call. Well I did...and they promised me it would be ready in 10 mins if I collected. Well it would be the 30 min extension..which I knew would extend again. So I trot on in and it's not ready...the lad on the counter kept asking me questions like...which rice?..then tells me just waiting on rice....but then five minutes later is calling the kitchen about the chicken nuggets. People sat there have been waiting an hour...people on the phone are being told 2 1/2 hr wait on delivery...people getting their money back. It felt like a shambles akin to Fawlty Towers....Basil! Well I keep getting the line...'we're very busy'. ..and I'm saying 'don't take orders if you cannot deliver to hungry people waiting for their teas. So. I finally get the order and when I get home...guess what? I'm a curry down... £6.20...time wasted and out of pocket...plus delivery fee!! Well I try and ring. I log 30 attempts to ring...and engaged or no reply. Well that's how it rolls I guess.. got your cash...end of. Awful awful awful. Shame as the food is nice. Ta ra cafe spice..no more dollar from me. Rant over....

Waiting 1hr 30m said it had been delivered half hr before that phone restaurant was told they were just coming with it 9 pm 2 hrs 20 mins been waiting hubby went to the restaurant the order was on the side hadn't done it!!! Said it would take 20 mins NO THANK YOU disgusting service
