lovely. veg rice had everything in it, and curries were spot on.

Therw was pleny of food and it was absolutely tasty. definitely will recommend. we will be ordering again.

didn't arrive at all put wrong address in phoned to change straight away wouldn't let me tried to cancel the order but still wanted me to pay full price and mlnot receive the food what an absolute joke of a place

Food arrived hot and tasty slightly disappointed in the lamb chops they was a bit tough, and the size of the chip portion wasn’t great. Could of put in a couple of complimentary poppadoms, but everything was hot and tasty will definitely be ordering again thank you

absolutely delicious. chicken tikka was tasty, the methi chicken was spectacular and the keema mutter was the best I've had. to top it off, the pilau rice and the special naan were truly delicious. the delivery was on time and the guy was really friendly. thank you.

The food was lovely, I had a problem with the service as it was quite busy. They didn't bring out our naan bread, there was a naan placed on the shared table, nowhere near me, so another guest was eating it. When we asked where our naan was the waitress pointed to the one on the table and said that's yours. I said I didn't want that one as someone else was eating it, she said she would get it replaced. However, as we had waited 20 minutes, our food was getting cold so they replaced the meals too. So... All was sorted and the food was delicious, we were part of a large party and we had all ordered either in couples or individually. Will definitely return 👍 The atmosphere was great, mainly due to the other guests that were there.

My husband always has his currys from here but I don't really like curry so thought I'd try the veg noodles.. they tasted amazing! I also asked for no spice and it was perfect. Thank you!

Had a fantastic evening down at the sow bar n grill, food was amazing as well as the hospitality. The staff were well informed on what dishes to try and pointing out what would be accommodating to our taste buds. I would like to thank Shiva who served us, who was an absolute sweetheart in accommodating us. Will be back very shortly to dine in again.

I started with momos, and they were absolutely perfect juicy,The chutney that accompanied them added the right balance of heat and tang, making each bite an explosion of flavor. Next came the Keema noodles which was a true highlightsoft, slurp-worthy noodles tossed with perfectly spiced minced meat, infused with aromatic Nepali herbs and spices. The flavors were rich yet comforting, making it an absolute must-try dish. Finally,The Spicy Bhutan which was a delightful surprise. The texture was beautifully crispy on the outside while retaining a rich, meaty depth inside. The spices were bold and well-balanced, giving it an authentic touch that any food lover would appreciate. A huge shoutout to the incredible team! Their passion for Nepali cuisine truly shines through their food and service. From the chefs crafting these amazing dishes to the friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect Overall, this meal was a fantastic introduction to Nepalese cuisine, and I can’t wait to return for more! worst masala sauce I've ever had, tastes like tomato soup and the food was delivered cold

This has got to be one of the worst currys iv ever had the balti was not a balti i ordered a madras it tasted the exact same of the balti but just a slight spice difference the cheese naan had no cheese in chips was hard undercooked the rice tasted chemically like what they wash there pans in overhall on the block list terrible food avoid

food was amazing only things ruined it was the naan bread as couldn't taste the garlic and the chips but the curry and the mix grill and rice was amazing keep up your amazing work

I went to this place yesterday to eat to slow serving food not well organised and the waiters dont come to collect empty plates plus the ladies room is old fashioned

Impeccable food, good value for money (this applies to drinks too), friendly, helpful staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. Welcoming for all people, young and old, families, friends etc. I can to recommend highly enough!

Ordered the family grill with extra chilli chips and a separate green salad, food was hot and plenty of it. Great tasting too. Salad was a good selection and very fresh. Definitely will be ordering again. Well done Soho. 10/10

Curry is really poor compared to when you go in I had a madras it's shocking and the tikka malsala was like water

Was my first time and was really amazed by the food, service and ambience of this bar and restaurant. We mostly ordered Nepalese food here and enjoyed it thoroughly. We had momos, Sekuwa and spicy Bhutan with a few beers . It was a fantastic evening. Shame I don't have photos to share but would go again when I could. Highly recommend this place not just fpr it's Authentic Nepalese delicious food but also as a catch up meeting buddies place for a drink, they do have tvs mounted with sports channel and on busy days onsite parking can be hard to find. Thankyou.

food delivered suppose to of had a family grill it came it's tiny definitely not worth the money over £20 and the naan bread was soggy not happy at all tried calling no answer

Food was fine but forgot some of order which was a shame too late to replace as we was eating would not put me off just make sure everything ordered as arrived.

You know when the staff are happy, your going to likely get some good food. The food was spot on, not over spiced and well cooked. Atmosphere, the place is busy most weekends, been here several times. So you can expect a wait, alot of takeaway orders. The service is good, only issue is between starter and mains had to wait 30 mins but worth that wait

Wonderful curry, piping hot, fresh and delivered in a timely manner.

Great place to eat, drink if you enjoy a beer, watch sports, or even get a takeaway. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to park if your the type of person that likes to be time or first to the table 🤣.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing time at The Sow Bar and Grill! For starters, we tried the prawns, fish, and mutton – all of which were fantastic. I'd rate the prawns as the absolute standout (1st), followed by the fish (2nd), and then the mutton (3rd). Each dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. For the main course, we opted for the mutton, soya, and naan. The mutton was tender and delicious, and the soya was a great vegetarian option. The naan was fresh and the perfect accompaniment. Highly recommend for a great meal and excellent service! Will definitely be returning.

We go here once a month always book and the rajastani is the best. We had it yesterday very disappointed very watery no authentic flavours.what has happened, one of our family had Claypot and it came out like a masala. We love this place please could you explain. Fish pakora was absolutely beautiful however the egg fried rice was bland and tasteless and the chicken tikka masala was like tomato soup, the naan bread was also tastless wouldn’t order again

lack of salad with onion baji was a disappointment for the second time running

Had food delivered via Uber Eats. The food tasted nice but the portioning of the main dishes seemed smaller than the ones I’ve had when eating in.

The place is clean and welcoming and the staff are nice. The vegetarian mixed grill and the vegetable biryani don't taste good and aren't good value.

my chicken tikka was tasteless.....

Went in even though I said I wouldn't after he was rude to my dad! I wanted monos, they came out so spicy I couldn't eat! Spoke to management for him to say that's normal!! Me and my 7 year old niece used to have these and not spicey at all!! Mangers attitude is uncalled for!

Great local Desi Pub with a good bar area and restaurant. The food is excellent and they have large TV’s to watch sports. There are booths and tables for families or large groups and they take reservations. The restaurant has been completely revamped for people who have been many years ago so well worth a visit.

Curry was nice, chops weren't all that, fish pakora and prawns were very poor just plain batter that wasn't seasoned, I can't say I'd order again

Im writing this based mostly on Uber delivery however have been in there few years ago for drinks game pool etc. Pub is pretty good, pleasant service. My review is on the food i received recently. I decided to give this ago to see what the food was like as I had given up on local restaurants being so bland. But The Sow and grill food took me by suprise, absolutely delicious top quality in every aspect. Big portions, was delivered quickly and the options on uber eats were really good right down to spice level. Quality meat, flavoursome, even the salad which i don't usually review, was fresh like used organic tomatoes lettuce. Side dishes (chicken poppadoms chapattis) were really tasty and filling, everything cooked to perfection. I cannot wait to have another one. Well done The Sow and grill. Have restored my faith in Indian food.

Unique sports bar in old pub with first class a spacious restaurant on the side plus terrace. I enjoyed a really nice Asian meal with my four sons, with a good selection of ales, all around.

The pub has improved so much with the new facelift and massive extension/restaurant. Theres a food and restaurant family area or if you just want a drink then there's a front end to the pub, which sometimes has live music on Friday nights which is different. Had some curries and starters there with a naan bread, which was spot on and had some spare to take home. Drinks and food were good value for money! Loadsa screens for live sports! The Chef used to be at the Talbot and loved his food then!! All the staff are ever so friendly and welcoming. Went again Dec 2023. Service was spot on for a 25 person group and food was bang on.
