We've been here a few times on a Friday evening. The food is lovely, drinks and cocktails great, prices are good and the place is lovely..... the reason we wont be returning is that one of the staff was in the toilet when my husband went in and the staff member used the toilet then walked straight out without going near the sink to wash his hands. This is disgusting! He served had already served our food and our drinks! Gross!!

Went as a group of 4 on Saturday night (mid October), restaurant wasn't overly busy but not many sea side places are out of season, the service and the food was outstanding, im a wings lover the hotter the better but the INFERNO wings even pushed me to my limits still very very tasty though but only order them if you really do like fire. A great thick burger that i had was excellently cooked as were the steaks that the other members of our party ordered,, All in all a brilliant meal and a very reasonable price

Looks great from the outside but another story inside. Full of flies, sticky floor and unclean tables and menus. Bottles of sauce that looked like they had been on the tables months, sticky with dried sauce all around the lids. Really really grubby place. Toilets were absolutely disgusting! Dirty nappy’s on the floor, toilet roll everywhere, toilets wouldn’t even flush properly and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Just as the rest of the place to be honest. The place was empty so can’t even say they were too busy to keep on top it f everything. Even the food still took a while to come and that was disappointing when it arrived. The meat was tasteless and so so DRY. I can see that this sort of place has great potential but as it stands very very poor hygiene standards from the places it’s self and even staff there. I feel awful even saying this but feel like it needs to be said. Someone was wearing absolutely filthy clothes and when serving our table I couldn’t help but notice the dirt under his finger nails. Really off putting. Overall Hygiene standards non existent and terrible food.

Went here with my friends a couple of nights ago after having come to this restaurant a couple of years ago and everything about the place was brilliant. This visit however was anything but to be honest. First of all when we were seated we were told there wasn’t any steaks on the menu at all that particular night, ok fine, abit disappointing as one of the party was wanting a steak and was saying all day how much they were looking forward to it. Then we were told that drinks would be about a 25 minute wait. The server told us that they were understaffed that night, but there was only one other table in the restaurant! Surely drinks don’t take 25 minutes?! We asked for a jug of water for the table when we ordered drinks and had to ask for it again when he came to take food orders. When the jug of water did arrive the glasses absolutely stunk of wet dog, disgusting! My partner went to the bar and told the man behind the bar and all he did was half heartedly apologise and said that the dishwasher tablets must need changing. We also asked to have clean cutlery as the knives in the bucket that they’re served in were absolutely filthy! I don’t know what’s happened but it’s a far cry from the first time I went! Decor outside was really cool and retro, just looks and feels dingy and cigarettes all over the floor. The only thing we all enjoyed were the cocktails which were lovely to be honest, but too much other bad stuff happened and put us off from going again. Massive shame and won’t recommend to others anymore.

Just generally disappointed with the level of hygiene. The place was pretty empty but still had plates of food on tables. When the plates had been moved the tables were never wiped. The menus and our table we’re dirty and sticky had to get menus off other tables I found two in the whole main area. The food was pretty average very greasy, and not cooked very well. The toilets were disgusting totally put me off from going again. Fine if your drunk but not soba with your family! Needs a good deep clean!

Appalling service, dried out meat, warm at best, service shocking, duty manager a total idiot, if I could give this zero stars it would be too many. Go to McDonald's, go anywhere but here.

Really unhappy with the service and the food. One particular staff was rude and made excuses and when told it’s ok to apologise but don’t make excuses. Happened when my husband and I went to order the chicken, waffle and mash potatoes meal as well as brisket and pulled pork and corn on the cob. The brisket and pulled pork was warm not hot as the food should be which I hardly touch as it is bland and dry then my saving grace for food is corn on the cob and it was freezing as I bite them, complained about it and got another one and again the butter wouldn’t melt as the middle of it is freezing and some part of the top are cold. Really??? How hard is it to cook this particular food???? Then the staff named Sophie is making excuses and even told me That she removed the J2O on the bill as it was the same price of the corn! I said to her I don’t care about the drinks that you removed and stop making excuses as she said oh we were busy. However, there’s only five table they’re serving and it’s not an excuse! And she said when I told her about making excuses that she isn’t the manager so she cannot do anything about and all those time she interact with us her face was tripping. What kind of customer service is this? Bad food and bad customer service from Sophie. Need to go back and learn the first protocol of working in this kind of environment, that is make people feel welcome and not make customer feel we are (customer) a bother. So not going back there.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Enjoyed my time there and will definitely be going back. The steak was perfect and the fries beautiful

We went in just to get quench our thirst from walking around cleethorps when the doors opened. And was blown away with the staff that was busy cleaning and serving the tables that was in. Could not fault them with anything they did. Amazing drinks made by a bubble young lady behind the bar and was tempted with the food so had to try it after chatting to the chap cooking. All I have to say is mouth watering. Don't believe me then you have to go and experience it for your self.

First trip last night the seating a bit uncomfortable a bit light school seats and. mis matched got a waiter that didn't know the menu and that Friday was rib night. But on the plus side and it was a big plus the food was to die for I had the pimped nachos and the something smoking burger stack absolutely delicious we will definitely be going back again even though its a thirty minute each way trip

Came in after seeing fab Facebook reviews and OMG. had pork chilli cheese balls to start and they were cooked to perfection! Followed by "into ribs" which has all three types of smoked ribs, also AMAZING! Staff are so friendly and helpful (When they aren't rushing around!) Absolutely recommend!

We had the Steak meal and sticky chicken and the Steak is the best steak I’ve had, ask for it medium race it’s unreal.

Me and my boyfriend visited tonight for a Valentine's day meal, we had only been once before nearly two years ago for our first anniversary and really enjoyed it so decided to return tonight. My boyfriend had the steak on the stone and he really enjoyed It, decent peice and size of meat; I tried a BIT and absolutely loved it and don't usually like steak if I had tried it before ordering we would of got the two steak Valentine's deal. My boyfriend's only issue was because the steak is served on the stone it carries on cooking as there's no where to put it and he likes his steak still mooing! Not a big deal, will just ask for a little plate for it next time really not a big deal at all. I had the brisket and pulled pork with onion rings and the sour cream mash. Not really a complaint but I probably would of liked the brisket to be warmer it wasn't exactly cold but I put it on the steak stone for a couple of seconds and it made a massive difference. Pulled pork was absolutely perfect. Mash is one of my favorite foods i have it everywhere i go When we was here two years ago I said that it was the best mash I had ever tasted, and still stick to that after tonight. It's smooth, creamy and full of flavour. Highly recommend. We were greeted by a really friendly bubbly man (possibly management assuming due to smart outfit) he offered us drinks and we had the 2 for 1 cocktails, I had strawberry woo woo and my boyfriend got jammy dodger, neither of us liked the opposite drink but loved our own. There was a very wide selection of cocktails and other drinks, plenty to choose from. We had fast service and check ups which was appreciated. We were offered dessert but gutted that we couldn't managed it would of loved to of tried some, will make sure we leave room next time. Highly recommend, many different menu choices, amazing food, great atmosphere, the decorations in the restaurant make it feel like an authentic American bbq place; very modern. Our table was decorated with petals, candles, a rose and confetti; it was the perfect amount to not take over the table but really gave it a more romantic feel. We had a great experience and glad that we had chose the smokestack for Valentine's day, hope to return soon!

We visited here for my partners 30th staff seemed nice enough wasn’t extremely happy with the food could of been better for the price also had to leave early as we could barely breath in there it was very stuffy and smokey and was making our eyes water and feel sick unfortunately I don’t think we will be returning

Accommodated 10 of us at short notice. Great food and service and the kids ate free! Bonus. Definitely worth a visit

My wife and I visited the Smokeshack a few weeks ago the baby back ribs were lovely but there were a few issues that really spoilt the visit for us. Firstly we were greated quickly and shown to a table. Once sat down I picked up a bottle of BBQ sauce to find it covered in sticky sauce all over and this was the same with 3 other bottles on the table. I asked the waiter if he could clean them and fill them up which he said he would then went off and never returned. I ordered the baby back ribs and some brisket. Now taking in to consideration brisket is one of the cheapest cuts of beef I expected more than 3 tiny slices of meat for £6 or so.

I went with six friends for a birthday treat the birthday boy got his meal for free the food was tasty but for the price not that many chips the stakes were very good I would recommend .

Went as a group of 15. The food was overpriced and was not enjoyable to any of us. The meat was disgusting and tasted like perfume, portions were tiny. Cannot describe the disappointment we felt at this restaurant, what an incredible waste of a large amount of money. Definitely will not be returning.

Called in for a drink tonight as saw advertised 241 cocktails all day every day and had the best time sat at the bar!

Family of four celebrating a 17th Birthday. Birthday girl ate for free!! Friendly, good menu, food served quickly, great food, excellent value for money.. All positive. We will return! Thank you!!

All I can say is wow. Went with hubby and 3 kids. Made to feel welcome from the moment through the door. Food was outstanding. Second time coming and will definitely not be the last. Thank you

So this place is meat heaven, my companions had the pit tray, I am told it was very nice, the sausage and brisket being the best, the ribs were good but the pulled pork the weakest one. The northern fries were really tasty, if you want to you can order the cajun and brisket gravy separately, it doesn't state it on the menu as an option though. For all you non meat eaters the beetroot veggie burger was really good, we would all go back again.

Really enjoyed the food here. I had the pit plate. Only criticism is that the pulled pork could have done with some sauce on. My wife had burnt ends and wings. The sauce the wings was cooked in was amazing. Not as hot as I make at home but was delicious. Sticky, sweet and meat falling off the bone. Burnt ends were great only slightly behind the ends at our local bbq place. Little one had burger and fries. Always says a lot about the food when you eat past the point you’re full and still end up leaving some on the plate.

Used to frequent this place earlier in the year, and was always a good standard. I especially liked the St Louis ribs, which are like pork belly.

Been many times to this restaurant with friends and as a couple and I've always loved it. Whether I've gone all out and got a burger or just a little sub sandwich the food is lovely. They do halloumi and grilled pepper subs with coleslaw and fries which they are always kind enough to pack up in takeaway tubs and foil for me to have on my break at work

We booked here for our staff night and was very happy at the service and quality of the food. The staff where excellent and very attentive. the food was excellent and no negative comments from any body. The drinks selection is excellent. I really could not fault the Smoke Shack and would highly recommend. It is very good value for money and a little underrated gem in Cleethorpes. Thanks team SVT :)

I have just returned from one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time.

We come here every couple of months as a couple. It's very much a diner not a la carte dining but for us it's a change. The food (especially the ribs) are out of this world and the cocktails are awesome. Always found the service to be really good I just cant fault the place (apart from the music but I'm an old fart). I've been to Applebys in Time Square and it's got nothing on this place. Ignore the bad reviews, they read like nit picky people anyway. Travelled the world and don't review that much.....but this place gets 5 stars for what it is. Be warned the portions are massive - try the ribs!!!

Good food I had burnt ends and wings and enjoyed every bite even enjoyed bbq greens. Wife enjoyed her food too. Definitely recommend the bbq trays rather than burgers, having tried both I would definitely have a tray over a burger. Will definitely go again

We liked the look, but having spoken to locals weren’t sure whether to go or not- apparently they’ve had quite a turn over of staff. Decided to find out for ourselves. We went Thursday tea time so it wasn’t very busy. Food was delicious, drinks were okay. Our waiter Mark introduced himself as the new manager. He was very friendly and helpful. I have to say the toilets were dirty, and given the time of day there was no excuse, so come on Mark get them sorted!

We visited this restaurant last night. We walked in and there was two other tables taken but by the time we had our drink there was no one except us in there. We ordered two starters and two mains. Our mains came out before the starters and when we said we ordered starters the waiter just said oh I thought you wanted it all together? Erm no that’s why they are called starters. We just tucked into our mains and starters to then not be able to eat it as it was stone cold! The waiter then came over to ask us is everything ok. We said politely that the food is stone cold and can’t eat it. He then said oh I will sort it. 40 mins passed by and no one came to see us with any sort of response. We then put our coats on and walked to the bar to find all members of staf just sat there. We said to the waiter again we Are not happy he then shrugged and said why what wrong with it. We then explained how our mains came out before starters and the food was stone cold and to top it of we complained and no one had the decency to come over to even apologise. Th fact we was the only people in the restaurant makes it even worse. We paid £25 and that was all we was willing to pay and that was to cover the wine we had. They didn’t even give us an apology or any compensation to this huredous service. We only paid that because that’s all we gave them not because they offered it to us. Avoid!!!

The food selection here is fab and I highly recommend this place to anyone near Cleethorpes. There's not much parking nearby though so I'd make it as part of a day out at the beach

Booked a table for 6.30pm on New Year’s Eve, only 3 other tables occupied & was only open till 10pm. Menu is very meaty mainly burgers,steaks & ribs, good choise of drinks & a large list of cocktails. I had a burger with a donut in it, different, glad I tried it but would have something else next time. Food was good but even though most of us were hungry some food was left due to being stuffed.

Last Monday we came to the smoke shack for another meal and was really impressed with the quality of the service, the assistant manger who has served us twice is so lovely and attentive. We always have a great meal and the food is yummy. Will always recommend.

Starter completely wrong. Menu description : rack of ribs beef brisket, chips and oinion rings when plate arrived there was 2 ribs and all food was cold. Left without eating meal. Menu needs to be more accurate. Orders not as described.

Visited recently for a family birthday meal. Within Grimsby and Cleethorpes this is really the only option for a 'smokehouse' experience, so was hoping it would be good!

We went on Saturday evening, it was a works party of approx 20 and we had pre ordered the food. It was a little chilly but nothing major. My starter of chicken wings was very nice but my OHs crackling was a but too crispy and teeth breaking - but again no major issues. The people on either side of me had Ribeye steak which came out on a hot stone and both said the steak was out of this world!

I loved the milkshake however the waffles were not fresh and were in fact from the freezer. The brownies were fantastic. The donuts also seemed frozen

Unfortunately, due to only being in the area for one night, and the restaurant simultaneously experience supplier issues, The Smokeshack was unable to serve any ribs or sausages, which would have been mine and my partners first choices hands down. Instead, we ordered the dirty burger and the brisket with numerous sides. I would say not to order as much as we did as the portions are very generous. The service was great and the staff friendly and helpful and the food was tasty. Had our eyes not been bigger than our bellies, we would have finished it all.

I visited some friends in Cleethorpes at the end of September, and we decided to visit this restaurant for some food.

Food looks the part, but unfortunately doesn't taste the part!

We were a party of 12 that attended on Saturday night at 7pm. There only appeared to be 3 other parties present and it seemed quite quiet for a Saturday night.

We booked a table for six not knowing how busy it would be, even though we didn't need to.

Given this is named smoke house it tastes slightly watery smoke flavour. Not deep within the meat. Prices ok. Madsive place and hardly ever busy....not a great atmosphere. Be better using half of the place as a proper bar instead of the attempt of a bar in the middle.

Me my mum and fiancé came to the smokeshack for a meal on Tuesday night. The service was fantastic I couldn't fault it. The lady who served us very attentive and made some great recommendations from the menu. The food was really tasty and the drinks was also lovely. Will definitely be returning.

All 3 times I've been here the food is amazing. It's smells and tastes so fresh and the portion sizes are huge! Also if you have room try the freakshakes! Amazing!

We ordered 2 starters, 4 mains, 2 puddings and 3 drinks. Unfortunately all of the food was extremely dry and overcooked.

I went here 2 nights in a row whilst on business, the first night I had the Texas BBQ pit tray - which is huge and due to a little man flu it beat me , the 2nd visit I had the rump on a rock - I had a similar thing in Ireland a few weeks back but this was so much better! The service was great both nights( same waitress) even though on the 2nd night there were 25-30 people on a works do there, it was still delivered within a few minutes. The place is rough and ready - but that's what it's supposed to be - American roadhouse style , graffiti and neon signs and basic furniture. There's also a constant blue haze from the smoker which didnt bother me - but might deter others . I'll be back if I'm up that way again

Came here on a weekend away with my husband. We ordered drinks and a main course each and at just over £30 for it all we thought was very reasonable. We had the brisket salad and the wings and burnt ends and there was more than enough and it was all beautiful. Service was very quick. Excellent place and will definatley return.

Came across this place while looking for a lunch place, as soon as you walked in you could smell the smoke from the kitchen, which was great.

Waited 45 Minutes for mains and then we were given the wrong mains only for the waiter to take them back to the kitchen and back out to another customer. When we did receive the right food it was really dry and tasteless and neither of us could finish our dinner. We tried the Smokehouse in Grimsby and thought it was the same company as the last time we went there the food and service was awesome. To finish we were never asked how our dinner was as we could both see the waiter was embarrassed and did not want to ask as I think he knew what was coming. Real shame.

I wasn't sure whether to to go due to the reviews but I'm glad I did. It was definitely an experience. The meat is actually smoked rather an smoked flavoured. Something different from your average restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plate sizes don't due the portions justice, it wasn't plentifull. Loved the condiments as they were somehing different. Not something you eat every day but but as a change or a treat it was brilliant. Will be going there again some time.

Arriving at the restaurant/pub I was put off my the decor , a cross between a disco and a goth hang out, but I persevered and I have to say the young staff were helpfulness itself. I had the Steak and chips with salad, the steak comes on a very hot stone which you can leave on until it is cooked to your liking, quite unusual. I really could not fault the steak, chips or salad ,very good quality and reasonably priced

My husband and I were spending the day in Cleethorpes and after a few beers fancied some steak and chose to visit the Smokeshack. It was very quiet, only one other party of diners, but we were well looked after and we both chose steak with side orders. We were not disappointed and enjoyed our beers. Well worth a visit.

My family visited this place on recommendation from another member of the family. The venue was in the revamped Flares/Reflex night club and as a result you're sat in a huge room that looks like a revamped night club. As a result, I feel the place has no atmosphere.

The Smokeshack advertises itself as an American style urban pit Bar-B-Q, so I was looking forward to some good meat dishes and excellent sauces – I was not disappointed !

We ordered their version of a Sunday lunch. If the microwave had been broken then we would not have got dinner at all. The cauliflower cheese was cold and hard same for the carrots. The Yorkshire puddings were cold they do not know how to make gravy. Only thing hot was the mash potatoes which I think they left in microwave too long. I do not recommend going to this place complete rip off.

Went here with some family and have to say we were disappointed. Food was okay - but overpriced and quite dull presentation. Burgers and hot dogs basically. Don't think we will bother again. Six adults one child and a bill of £130. We could have done a lot better. Sorry no repeat eaters here. Slow service as well, considering there were not many diners. Shame!

Went to the smokeshack on Monday may 1st for my daughters 17th b'day upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by a bubbley member of staff,we ordered our drinks and got them straight away,all 6 adults ordered our starter's and they were all delicious the home made pork scratchings and apple sauce were to die for...also the home made garlic bread was very good,my main meal of pulled pork and brisket with fries & onion rings was immense....all in all the food was excellent the place itself is very clean and well kept well worth a visit and the prices are very reasonable 5/5 well done to all especially the cook's and bar staff.

just visiting Cleethorpes for the day we decided to try the smoke shack after reading the menu outside, we were with our grandchildren and they both new what they would like to try very quickly. We were shown to a table and the menu choices explained, our granddaughter ate from the children menu but we were surprised at the portion size, 3 chicken strips 2 half corn on the cob's and fries. between us we tried the 2 types of ribs, brisket, and a really good burger with plenty of sides including pit beans topped with pulled pork. it was a very enjoyable and filling meal, the brisket was low and slow cooked and melted in your mouth. we did have desserts but they were ok rather than great. the service throughout was very good. and plenty of room around your table and great access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. we will certainly go again a great place for very good bbq style food.

The staff are so polite and the food is great. I'd highly recommend to anyone, especially now they have started serving freakshakes.

... what a shambles of a place, ordered drinks and waited 25 minutes for them to turn up had to go to bar to remind them we were there, ordered a large rosè and got a small glass of white wine delivered to table , the food was undercooked apart from that the steaks are good... silver lining I suppose

Visited on monday night, very quiet but super friendly staff. Food came fairly quickly, was very tasty. Chef hand made some excellent chilli sauce just for us!

Came for mothers day and ended up walking out. Their was a pile of sick on the front door which we had to step over to get in. Service was terrible we had to keep asking to be served. Tried to take my son to the toilet but it was absolutely discusting their was dirty nappies thrown all over the floor, blocked toilets and water all over the floor. Just ended walking out in the end. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Took my boyfriend here for a surprise meal for his birthday, his friends got there before we did although wasn't really a surprise when the cake his friends brought 15 minutes before he got there was on the side where you wait to be seated as nobody had took it in the back so he saw his cake, sat down and ordered drinks which took somebody 20 minutes to come to our table to ask us, 3 requests for Diet Coke and when they came to the table with the drinks we asked if they was diet and the waiter informed us they'd ran out so instead of not been asked if we wanted alternative drinks they poured us normal Coke anyways, had to get up twice to ask for a round of drinks later on in the night because the first time we asked we were told somebody would come over and 10 minutes later we were still sat there with no drinks, food was average and service was shocking, was so upset that my intentions of my boyfriend having a nice surprise birthday was ruined, only positive was the one waitress who seated us was lovely and apologised for the wait time when presenting the bill, will not be visiting here again

I visited the Smokeshack one Monday around 3.30pm, I was surprised that we were offered to dine at such a time. Myself and friends have also eaten at the sister establishment in Grimsby.

Visited here on a Saturday night with friends, after reading some of the reviews we were prepared for the worst - but instead we had a lovely meal!

This was the second time I have visited the smoke snack and was pleased with the food and service on both occasions.

Visited on Monday and it wasn't busy at all. We made ourselves at home and we were attended to promptly with menus and drinks.

Visited the smokeshack a couple of weeks back for a bit if lunch. I'd been to the one in Grimsby but wasn't overly impressed so thought I'd give this one a go.

Couldn't decide between a steak or burger and asked the waitress - who was great and attentive what she thought and she said go for the burger they are home made. Well I've honestly had better frozen burgers at home , and I'm not a fussy Eater. It was burnt , no flavour and just nothing nice about it. Was so disappointed as the pictures seen on Facebook etc looked amazing. The cocktails were nice and customer service great just the food was a let down and I hated paying for a meal that was such a let down. I expected the restaurant to be quite full on a Friday night but it was dead and absolutely freezing!!!! We all sat with our coats on shivering, this really needs sorting out as no one wants to pay to eat out and be freezing, sadly won't be returning.

6 hours after eating there threw it all up, 30quids worth of food and drink spent on ribbs and beer wasted, restaurant was also freezing cold, staff were. Asked to do something, and eventually brought out two small fan heaters, too little, too late.

A good restaurant, we were welcomed and seated without delay. The food was delicious and the cocktails were refreshing. Service was attentive and prompt. Will definitely revisit and recommend.

First visit to the smokeshack and wasn't disappointed. Was welcomed by Lauren at the door and shown to our table. Drinks order taken and we weren't rushed into ordering the meal. Ordered St Louis ribs and beef brisket, absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be going back.

Was impressed tonight it was our first visit. There was a great variety of cocktails. The food was lovely. It's such value for money here to. You get so much food. Nobody could leave here feeling hungry. Two meals 2 cocktails each £48 bargain!! One was a steak meal to! My only complaint is that when entering we felt slightly ignored as nobody was in a rush to get us seated, I did eventually have to ask if we just sit down to make a point. Only criticism .

We went early to this place. The staff were very Friendly and the service was good. My Meal of Brisket and Pulled Pork was very nice indeed. They serve the meat warm not hot. But the Creamy mash was also only just warm as well - by the time you get to the end of your food it is cold.

I didn't really enjoy it, wasn't keen on the sauce on the burnt ends, also expected the meat to be more tender fall of the bones but it wasn't.

We were left disappointed when several items where not on the menu which we wanted. The standard chips were a little greasy and the brisket a little chewy but the wings and pulled pork were really nice. Sweet potato fries were good too but I was informed the burger patties where a little bland. The place has good decor and has great potential but I feel like they need to either narrow stuff down on the menu or order more food in to avoid disappointed customers.

Well just to start off Katie and Sarah who mainly served us great staff very good st there job helped us out with menu as most places staff just try and run your bill up not in this case order a starter each and they warned us there a good size lol so just got the one n wow we had mac n cheese balls but bigger than a tennis ball really nice hot n tasty food great will be going back with a group of friends great place spot on guys n gals keep up the good work

I visited with some work colleagues on a quiet December weeknight. The good points were, the waitress was pleasant and the service was OK (4*) and the food presented quite well. But the downside was the burger I ordered was well overcooked and "Dirty Fries" were soggy (I would rate the food at tops, 2*). It was claimed that the burgers were "home made" (I don't think so!) so with that in mind, I asked for a burger to be cooked medium rare but unfortunately the restaurant were unable to do that on "supposed" health and safety grounds.

Best place I've been in months very nice staff very helpful and the food hot Freash spot on all in a great meal out with drinks and all food less than £40 spot on guys n gals many thanks will be back soon 10/10

Staff were very friendly, they were attentive but not too attentive. The food was beautiful, it was all very clean and the food was prompt and well presented, it was actually hot whereas in some restaurants the food is lukewarm. For the level of service that was received it was cheap.

Was really looking forward to trying this out. The place was quite empty, but service wasn't brilliant either. The food is very expensive for what you get. Thus place is very overrated, wouldn't go back. More suited for the younger generation, however our 24 year old didn't rate it either

First visit: Solo. Ordered a brew dog beer, nice Order baby back ribs, full rack. Was ok, nothing special Service was "ok". Second visit: 3 persons. Ordered just a Cola. Ordered a "smokin hot burger". Was not special but ok. Service was less good.

We visited last night (15th October) as a party of four and found the food to be very good and tasty and the staff very attentive. The portion sizes were huge and well presented.I must agree with the previous review though about the toilets.This really does need to be addressed and was our only gripe. We would have given 5/5 if the loos were better.

We wanted to try a different meal experience, this certainly was that, the food was below average I had a dirty dog my food was Luke warm, chip came in a tin cup which was really different but these where over cooked and hard, My husband had pulled pork and slow brisket platter, the brisket tasted of nothing, chips hard, no culturey on table some sauce weren't ladelled so it was take a guess.

Firstly I'd just like to say that smoke shack isn't the cheapest place to eat but that does not mean is isn't good value for money.

Saw this place when we arrived into cleethorpes on monday (on a 4 day visit ) and instantly planned to check it out. Was a little worried after reading some reviews but went for it anyway.

Tried this restaurant out at the weekend. I was a little sceptical as I'd tried it's sister chain (The Smokehouse) in Grimsby and really didn't rate it (had problems with both the service and my food). However this was slightly better.
