Increíble lugar, me encanta el pollo de chile salado con arroz y papas fritas. A pesar de que obtiene comida similar en otro lugar, hay algo mejor aquí.

The Slated Teapot catered my daughters first communion. First class service and food. Great guidance on how much to buy and the food was great quality. I will definitely be back for the next family gathering.

Was in the Newlands area one Saturday morning and had to make my way across to Cathcart, but was in need of a little lunch, and decided to pop in to the Slated Teapot. Nice little cafe tucked away, but sure of a great welcome, and a nice big menu where you are sure to find something simple to your taste. Cakes stacked high look out of this world, but maybe for another day as I ordered a coffee and a breakfast role. Will most certainly be back if in the area again.

Called in to collect lunch and coffees for three to eat in nearby Newlands park across Kilmarnock road 200 yards away. Junior play park across the road closed due to present restrictions.Servers in shop were pleasant and attentive Nespresso coffee served. Prices reasonable and conditions clean and pristine.Bright sunshine and warm day made this experience memorable. Phone 07 922 471 569 to arrange instant pick up or delivery within an hour.

Popped in for a coffee and bacon roll. Lynn was happy to make my bacon crispy and didn’t disappoint. Been a good few times with my family and always had plenty of time to check out the menu before our order was taken. Would definitely recommend the slated teapot if ur in the area.

Great wee cafe, opened a year ago. Popped in with my 3 and 5 year old after being at a nearby group with them. Nice surroundings, tasty food and lovely staff. Have been in 4 or 5 times since! Child friendly - good choice of food for children, and some books etc to keep them occupied. Lovely coffee too. Would recommend a visit!

forgot about one of our pizzas, waited over an hour for it. also forgot about one of our pints and had it sitting for at least 10 minutes before we had to remind them of it. ridiculous service. probably won't be back.

Won’t be controversial to say one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to in Glasgow. The lineup: BLAT (bacon lettuce avocado tomato) Meatball Bap Lorne, egg and black pudding roll Jeeeeeeessssss Louise this was good. My sandwich (the blat) was made with incredible sourdough, with just the perfect amount of crisp around the edges and super soft in the middle, could’ve eaten that all day without cutting a single bit of my mouth. The other two, I was told, were placed on some fantastic rolls, with almost milk bread like texture, almost made me jealous. The meatballs were packed full of herby juicy deliciousness, and the square sausage was gone before I could even try a taste. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well. My friend spilled his drink but they took the extra steps to not only help clean up the spill but also got him a free refill. Going that little bit out of the way really makes the experience special, so thank you! Seems like a lovely wee community that goes there and with it being slap bang on anniesland cross it’s still fairly handy to get to! I’ll definitely be back for some bread, a pie and maybe another cup of delicious tea! Also if you are looking to preorder their sourdough the best way to do it is to follow their facebook page, and when they release their menus on Wednesday, pop a comment on the post with your name and day you want to get it with minimum 24hrs notice!!! I’ve revisited just to try the pastries, which is yet another great recommendation from me. The danishes they make change toppings regularly, and the one pictured was essentially a Black Forest gateau on a danish. Excellent! Cheers to another great Glasgow business :)

Delicious veggie food We stopped in for brunch on a sunny Saturday. I was intrigued by the smashed peas on sourdough, and it was not a disappointment! Deliciously minty with spring onion and a hint of chilli. The halloumi on top was perfect. A good selection of teas and coffees, and other juices etc. A brilliant option for veggie or vegan breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I came back the next day to get some of their fantastic pastries!

Went for afternoon tea with my friend and was certainly not disappointed, the owner of the shop was a lovely friendly person and the sandwiches scones and cakes etc were delicious, we were also given a welcoming soft drink with little exploding fruit bubbles which was a pleasant surprise . I would definitely recommend a visit wherever you live in Glasgow or surrounding areas it’s well worth it. Anything left over you get a box to take home

My first visit during my Glasgow stay. Came here and had a late breakfast consisting of a raisin scone and a pot of tea. Super cozy atmosphere, feels like a local regular cafe. Very nice owner who gave me some tips on other places to visit nearby.
