The Skinny Kitchen in Islington

This place is great for bottomless brunch. Food was pretty good too. They serve really fast though but I think it’s because everyone then wants to get up dancing.

Fui al almuerzo del sábado. Tuve un tiempo decente, pero no creo que volvería a reservar. El entretenimiento era genial y el personal era encantador, pero la comida y bebida simplemente no era una relación calidad-precio, teniendo en cuenta que cobran £ 65 por ello. Solo 2 platos y nada especial o particularmente saludable (hamburguesa con queso y patatas fritas tipo de cosas). Me imaginé que esto significaría que los “cócteles sin fondo” serían épicos y lo que pagas pero no. Solo había una opción incluida en el precio y básicamente era solo jugo de arándano con un pequeño rastro de vodka. Sirve en jarras de plástico. Un Nosmo, no un Cosmo. Por el precio, esperaba calidad. Definitivamente hay margen de mejora.

No volvería a ir. Nada de entretenimiento, sólo un DJ. El personal era amable y la comida estaba bien. Pero las bebidas cosmo que pedimos eran básicamente jugo de arándano. Gastó £ 215 para 3 personas para 3 platos principales. Estaba pensando en ir allí para una gallina. Definitivamente voy a estar buscando en otro lugar

Fui un sábado para el brunch y fue increíble, había tan buen ambiente y el personal era increíble! Sin embargo fui un viernes para el DJ y fue horrible. Simplemente aparecimos y no querían hacer lo sin fondo, estaba vacío en el lugar y no les molestaron. No recomendaría un viernes, pero recomiendo un sábado.

Buena comida y muy buen rollo. El equipo es increíble y muy servicial. Rianna fue muy práctica cuando ayudó a planificar nuestra fiesta de Navidad de la empresa, siempre respondiendo a cualquier pregunta que teníamos dentro de un corto período de tiempo y en realidad estaba allí en el día a día para ver. ¡Día increíble!

Had an amazing, awesome, wonderful Evening Brunch at Skinny kitchen. Demi was SO welcoming and remembered us from before. Jai outstanding customer service as always, food Super Scrumptious. Definitely recommend to friends and family, hope to be back very soon, thanks again for a wonderful evening.

Good location and vibe. Nice food with very generous portions. Well worth the price. Great service by Jai. A truly enjoyable evening!

Grupo grande para el almuerzo de cumpleaños. Muy buena comida - delicioso aranchi de trufa y gran porción de fideos tailandeses. La comida de todos se veía encantadora. Buenos cócteles. fabuloso entretenimiento también. Invitado de cumpleaños recibió un regalo especial también. Realmente lo disfruté. Servicio atento también!

Qué pena. La comida era absolutamente horrible. Frío y mal cocinado. Salió como una cinta transportadora. Entretenimiento inexistente. Solía ser un buen brunch con cantantes, bailarines, etc. (así que no te importó pagar las £ 65. 00 ) pero por 65 libras esterlinas por unas cuantas bebidas regadas y comida de basura y no mucho más. No volveré. ¡Prefieres ir a Palm House, Serata Hall, Oxbo o Jones and Sons! ¡Más barato y mejor!

La comida, el ambiente y el servicio fueron geniales, pero la sonoridad de la música simplemente dominó toda la experiencia. Se hizo tan fuerte que nos enviábamos mensajes de texto ya que no podíamos escucharnos por la música y la mesa de al lado era la misma. La elección de la música fue genial, pero fue demasiado fuerte. No volveré ni recomendaré, tampoco creo que valiera la pena el dinero.

Tal pérdida de tiempo no se preocupe. La experiencia se anunció como 90 minutos de comida y bebida sin fondo. Tenemos una bebida y un plato (muy pequeño) de comida en 40 minutos. Estábamos tratando de llamar la atención del personal para otra bebida, pero estaban demasiado ocupados. Creo que había 3 camareras sirviendo a todo el restaurante, así que no es su culpa, pero tan mal dirigido y el peor brunch sin fondo en el que he estado en Londres con diferencia. Afortunadamente teníamos vales de tiempo de espera, así que solo pagamos la mitad de precio, pero ni siquiera valió la pena. Muchos almuerzos mejores alrededor.

Fuimos el 25 de agosto brunch sin fondo. Tomé unos 4 tragos en 90 minutos. El servicio era pésimo, tenías que llamar la atención de los servidores de lo contrario no vendrían a tu mesa. Muy mala experiencia para sin fondo. También había música que sonaba más fuerte de lo que se encontraba en un club nocturno, por lo que apenas podía hablar entre sí. Si usted está buscando un sin fondo, por favor vaya a otro lugar! "

WORST BRUNCH EVER. Don't waste your money!! Service was so slow barely had anything to eat from the "bottomless food and drink". Half orders never made it to our table. One staff member came up to us and asked for our reservation mid way through our brunch and was appallingly rude to my friend who was saying that the booking was under my name. It almost felt like an insult to me as she thought my name was a joke and didn't believe it me until I showed her my booking confirmation. Her attitude was so disgusting we was all thrown off as we wasn't being rude to her at all and answered all her questions politely.

Had the absolute displeasure of visiting today for a friends birthday. Food was terrible, service was appalling and most of the staff we're rude, uninterested and i question why they decided to have a career in hospitality. The only person working was the red head with curly hair who was doing her best and single handedly keeping the business afloat. Took 1 hour to have 1 drink each, and 1 terrible food item, which is beyond outrageous for a bottomless brunch. There are infinity better brunches in london for less than half the price, so dont waste your time or money.

We had a fantastic time for my hen do at the skinny kitchen. The food was lovely and the drinks were being bought over quickly. The entertainment was great, this place had such a good vibe. Unfortunately there are only two tiny toilets which is an issue and causes a queue through the restaurant which just looks and feels a bit messy. Also you asked to remove any bridal party wear, hats, sash’s etc. I think this would be taken better by guests if we could just understand why? Entertainers great at involving everyone especially the main people of each party. Overall really good time I would definitely recommend.

My friend and I were in the area before going on to Sadlers Wells Theatre for a show. We were a bit bemused by the name: Skinny Kitchen. We thought it was a salad restaurant catering for dieters. We were pleasantly surprised at the choices on the menu. Our waitress, called Jaidene, was very attentive. She explained the items and made sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the general ambiance. We will visit it again; we recommend The Skinny Kitchen.

Visited recently, a group of 12 of us. Three of these were non drinkers which clearly states £45pp on the website. We paid our £20pp deposit each before coming. When we arrived the waitress rudely told us the non drinkers would have to pay £65pp the same as drinkers. When questioned why she stated because you still get the brunch and the music/ dancing included. Sorry but this is wrong hence the negative review. I had two pregnant people in my party so why should they pay for the alcohol package? It’s wrong and misleading. Your website clearly states it’s £45pp for the non alcohol package. I did ask to speak to the manager and she said on this occasion she’d honour it! Honestly what rubbish. I advise any one on the non alcohol package to be careful!! It’s just a money making scheme! Then there was the £99 (optional) service charge on the bill!! Otherwise the brunch its self was good! The guy on the bongo drums was the best part of it all!! He was fantastic!

I wouldn't go again . Went to the skinny kitchen for a hen do. 13 of us so we had to paid In advance. £65 a ticket but I don't understand why . The drinks tasted watered down . Especially the pink gin drink . Tasted like Strawberry robinsons juice. The food was the biggest joke there . I had the Pitta and hummus. . You get 3 small bits of pitta and a small pot of hummus . The main you get a small burger and a few fries . . You only have an hour and a half to have all you can drink but you can only get hardly any drink because of slow service . So you end up only get 2 or 3 drinks . As soon as your timeq up . You have to leave straight away. The staff were lovely but slow service . The music was good . Don't waste you time or money going . Not worth the £65 . . I'll happily pay £20 /£30 for what you get .

We were there with a Hen party - 1 of 4 hen parties that attended that evening and all brides and hen party groups were rudely asked to take off any wedding related accessories. I understand this is policy, however the way the security spoke to the bride and to other members of the group really wasnt a great start as this was the first thing we were greeted with before even getting into the venue. I would understand if this was the Ritz but its a bog standard venue that is pretty much designed for hen parties and birthday parties. We could not fault the food at all, everyone enjoyed their meals and it was nice not having to pre-order. All of the food came out nice and quickly. There was a good selection of cocktails and wines to choose from and these were being topped up super quickly! We definitely feel that we got great value for money in this repect! The dancers were great and got the place going! However, for the 3 hours we were there, they were only there for about 30mins max, at 10mins at a time. I would have thought the entertainment could have lasted longer. The event came to a very abrupt end without any 10 minute warning to drink up and go to the toilet or anything which meant no one was ready to leave but security staff were shouting at guests to leave - again not a pleasant way to end the experience either. The toilets were a joke - only 2 loos for a room full of people and they were so compact that you could quite easily knock someone out when opening the door. Overall we had a great time! Just little bits that the place could work on to make it perfect!
