The food here is delicious. They do great portions and the flavor is impeccable. Service is always excellent with there being friendly staff and they also even bring it out to me when I wait in the car. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting tasty food

The only Chinese in the area to order from and they also don't deliver. Take cash to pay. You will be thanking me later

This Chinese is a nice Chinese, the food is good for value, compared to other Chinese this place seems to be fresh and not full of salt and oil, I wish they did thicker noodles but due to freshness of the food I can't really complain, it's well worth collecting as its an cash only and collection only service. Good value for money

6 of us ordered a take away before watching the Euros & everyone enjoyed the food. Reasonably priced. Not much more than a McDonald’s but the food was amazing. Very much recommended.

Food really poor and got half the order wrong to make things worse. Chicken undercooked, chips rubbish, only thing that was acceptable was the boiled rice… “chef” useless. Won’t use again.

Looking to try various places in the area, my wife and I decided to call into the Sizzling Wok. The premises looks reasonably presentable, parking is good and the counter staff are pleasant. The price, compared to other similar restaurants is good. The Buffet for two, whilst prepared in less than five minutes, fell short of the mark. The sauce used for most of the dishes, seemed to be bland (watered down), the food itself was made with poor quality ingredients, the chicken was dry, very dry. It looked great, and the meat dishes had plenty of meat, but the taste of every dish apart from the chicken soup was lacking. I think, and I maybe wrong, they are looking to provide, plenty, whilst spending little. I can’t recall throwing a chines take away before, but neither my wife or I liked it, so it ended up in the bin.

Lovely curries here than many places I've tried in the area. Salt and pepper is top tier too! Yummy!

Usually have a fantastic meal, but tonight it was awful! Ordered garlic rice but was given normal rice, salt and chilli pepper king prawns came without spring onion or garlic, and they were so salty I couldn’t eat them. Black bean sauce was tasteless. They offered to replace the meal but I declined as it is a 35/40 minute round journey for me.

Visited here as my son wanted a "Chinese new year" tea, service was quick and price was reasonable but unfortunately the food wasn't the best, the noodles and rice were very dry and ended up getting thrown away.

Drove past here on Thursday night 1st Feb and this joint was CLOSED. Are they in trouble- anyone???

Delicious food for our first time (chicken satay skewers, sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken fried rice and egg fried rice). When our local Chinese is closed this will be our go to, seriously impressed and glad to have found it.

Never disappoints this place, so much choice, friendly people and just so godddddam tasty! Would have every night if money and clothes weren’t already tight.

Had a few takeaways from here now. Service has been great every time, 1 star less due to not being able to pay by card here. Otherwise the Food was fantastic and the Service as previously mentioned is brilliant!

A bit disappointed mushroom rice, the mushrooms wernt cooked the beef curry had flavour, nothing outstanding tho. The chicken balls has a strange taste and the batter very sickly and stodgey. Not our usual Chinese take away, the son nipped in via to our house. Shame as he treated us.

A local friendly Chinese takeaway with a great selection of dishes to choose from the menu. Wether it's a chow mein dish, foo young dish or a chop suey dish you fancy, there is plenty to choose from along with some great appetisers. Quite often get the order wrong. Think it's the kitchen staff, not reception. Reception seems on the ball. They had a temporary chef in once and the food had a lot more taste. Should taste a lot better at these prices. Pity as they have a good selection.

Ahhh my favourite Chinese eveeeer the best in the whole of Stoke on trent, Anthony always has a smile and has fantastic customer service, the ladies are always polite too, I only ever need to say hi Anthony and he knows its me 😂 now that's customer service! If you haven't tried this food you seriously need too you won't be disappointed

First time trying it here after a recommendation from a friend. Safe to say we weren’t disappointed! Food was lovely and the portions were absolutely huge, you get a lot for your money. The staff are lovely also. Will be coming again!

Best Singapore rice noodles for miles

If you want to fish fresh trout or the bigger salmon trout easily, the place will provide all you need. Just turn up and they will get you organised very quickly. You are not allowed to throw back any fish into the ponds. You pay by weight of fish.

Easy to find meal ready as ordered polite and friendly staff. Food not so good it seemed like they had reheated food from earlier most of it landed in the bin.

Polite staff ready on pick up, my dog would not even eat that 'fried' rice meal as for the chow mein worst tasting 1in 20 years

Very nice food good price fast service and friendly staff well worth a visit I shall have my take way from here again.

Usually very good but today’s food was well below standard. Chicken balls had very dry and crispy batter and the chicken inside was hard and dry. I suspect they were cooked much earlier and then left to keep warm for a while. The chips were blistered and mostly rock hard. 80% of my meal was fed to the bin. Like I said before it’s usually nice from here but I’ll give somewhere else a try next time.

We tried 'The Sizzling Wok' for the first time last week and the food here was extremely appetizing. The food ordered was very tasting and was served in a quick manner. The staff there were attentive and the service from ordering to collecting the food was excellent. The takeaway looks very oriental and has some nice decoration around; it was clean and the hygiene look exemplary. Overall the food order was at a great value and we certainly be going back. This is for sure one of the best Chinese takeaway in Stoke-On-Trent and I will definitely recommend to someone looking for a something oriental to eat and maybe want to try something new.

I've had takeaways from here for 10+ years. Only once we're they not outstanding. Everyone is allowed a bad day. Seriously though, you won't be disappointed. Prices good too.

This is one of the better Chinese places I've eaten at, and that's including the time I've spent in China. There's a lot of variety on the menu here, the couple dishes I tried were very tasty - a seafood plate and a chicken plate, both excellent. A pleasant staff to top it off.

Seen some negative reviews for this place and I honestly can't relate to any of these bad experiences, I travel over 7miles to buy their food, passing many other Chinese Takeaway on route because the food is that good and the staff are always great, very helpful and patient on those occasions when I can't make my mind up.

Truly awful, possibly the worst Chinese food I've had in a long time, tasteless & far from fresh. Don't waste your money, you would get a better takeaway off the shelf in Morrisons

The food is always tasty and is relatively inexpensive.

Polite staff but food quality disappointingly poor. The seaweed smelt and tasted like it has been dipped in an ash tray. Beef was soggy and chicken curry was horrendous and the chicken tasted like tofu. Finally the prawn crackers were greasy as! Would not reccomend!

Returned to the Sizzling Wok after an absence or 2 years due to a noted deterioration in quality.Our meal on 18th June 2016 was very good , just like old times, will repeat a visit again't soon
