A proper old fashioned cafe. The staff were lovely, prices reasonable and my bap was huge and served very quickly.

Scottish breakfast freshly cooked and piping hot. This must be the best kept secret in Shrewsbury. Nothing was too much trouble. I couldn't fault the food or the service. I will definitely be going again.

Very Nice little cafe. Loads on the menu for everyone We tucked in to two full breakfasts. The Lady Staff or Owner was very friendly and welcoming. The Cafe was very clean and tidy the food was very good Thanks we will be back again.

I've ordered from here a few times it's a great cafe with great staff. The quality of the food is so much better than any other similar place in Shrewsbury, it's just like a good home cooked fry up with out the dishes 😂, great place, highly recommend 👌

Recently changed hands but still a good breakfast.

A very frilly old fashioned front roomish kind of place. Unfortunately that's as far as we got as no dogs allowed. Went to Rashers instead, where he was very much welcomed, with a drink, a fuss and a sausage! Thank you Rashers (full breakfast was awesome!)

Tucked away on what looks like a small business park. Open weekdays until 1.00 p.m. Very cosy, modern decoration, like an updated teashop; very clean. Food was good. Hubs had the English breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had vegetable soup with buttered toast which was hot and tasty.

Lovely little cafe in the middle of an industrial estate. Stopped here after arriving early for an appointment and had a great breakfast well cooked and of great quality. Friendly lady serving and also preparing the food. Well worth finding..

Brilliant value for money. Very clean, excellent choice of food, cooked to order. Also for available to take away. Only one problem, shortage of parking, so the more popular the Shropshire Lass becomes the more difficult for us regular customers to park!!

Surprising little cafe serving the usual industrial estate faves plus daily specials. The twist is that everything is well presented and as a homely feel. Not easy to find though, it is tucked in next to boys of boden.

We found this cafe some months ago while shopping at Boys Boden. Dying for a coffee, we went in. We have been going weekly ever since. The owner and staff make this the place to be, and the food is truly fabulous. I would tell everyone who liked good food and friendly staff to eat at The Shropshire Lad Cafe. Well done all of you, you should be proud. See you soon!
