The Shed in Great Yarmouth

What a lovely place. Amazing food and service. Definitely lived up to expectations and would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Had a really lovely atmosphere, but would recommend you book to avoid disappointment, glad we did as it was busy all evening.

For our second visit we were shown directly to our table on arrival. Service was good and the food amazing. My party had cocktails which took a while to come but were worth the wait. We will be back.

What a gem. Went to a show at the pavilion so just turned up on a Saturday evening. Luckily, they managed to squeeze the 2 of us in. Service was prompt and slick. You order with a card at the table. Just mark off what you want. So easy and simple. The food arrived quickly and was superb. 2 lads, shared 7 dishes which was plenty and so delicious. Squid, garlic prawns, chicken wings, chorizo potatoes, greek salad, pitta snacks and meat balls. Couldn't fault the quality, service or price. Was getting busy as we left. We would definitely go there again.

I was part of a group of 10 people who visited The Shed. The food and drinks were lovely however at the end of our meal, we had issues with payment. We were rudely told by the manager that we either had to pay on one card or split it equally between the party. Some of us paid a deposit and we all had different amounts of food/drinks so we wanted to each pay for what we had. It wasn’t made clear to us that paying separately for our meals was an option.. bit weird if you ask me. The man was very rude and unwelcoming considering our table had just spent over £400 in the restaurant. Consider your manners and tone, we will not be returning xo

Food was lovely, staff were very friendly but there attention to to customers was not very good, drinks orders failed on 3 occasions.

Great venue to enjoy tapas, good atmosphere and always busy when we've been. Good choice of food and well cooked. Excellent.

This place is so good. The food is amazing. Hands down the best place to eat for miles.

I found it very rushed, not great value and food lacked flavour.

Found this wonderful restaurant by chance and loved it. 6 Tapas dishes between 2 was a push as good sized portions, well for us anyway. Dates wrapped in bacon was a new try and enjoyed it as something different. Will definitely visit again and go for 5 plates so. Dessert might get a chance of a look in. My Pics not my best as a bit out of focus but gives you an idea. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Excellent food but unfortunately the service was not as good, no deserts or coffee offered and difficulty in finding a member of staff to get the bill

Excellent food and great portion sizes. They recommend ordering 2 per person to begin with but we didn’t see that and ordered 3. Absolutely stuffed. Staff really friendly and very helpful. As we over ordered staff more than happy to provide takeaway cartons so we could take leftovers.

If the monotonous dance music wasn't so loud I'd give full 5*. Great dishes. (5 choices between 2 of us was ample) The sausage one was awesome.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great prices..... Just great. First time visit. Ordered f Tapas but so big should have ordered less lol. However they do recommend 2 dishes per person which would be plenty. Will defo be back

Lovely food, and well priced. I just feel that the service lacked a bit of love. Maybe I'm wrong but it's my opinion. Other than that a lovely place to eat.

We went after reading the good reviews on here and seeing the delicious food that other reviewers had. Whilst the food was nice we did not have anything what the pictures reflected. There was a small selection of tapas/meze and 3 items of specials. A big yes for us is to start with aioli and bread but this wasn’t on the menu which is a surprise for a tapas restaurant. We were looking forward to some fresh fish or even lobster that other reviewers had put up but nothing like that was on offer. We had 4 small tapas dishes and one special. It was nice but just expected a bit more. We had lovely cocktails and a desert, again that was lovely. If the menu offered more we would definitely go again. The restaurant is lovely and the staff equally as lovely

Fantastic birthday visit made extra special with birthday banner. The food was exceptional, and our eyes were bigger than our bellies. But boxes were provided to allow us to enjoy the rest at home. Thank you,

The best place around. The food is good, everything on the menu is just superb and the prices are fantastic. The highlight of this place, the cocktails, are borderline perfect. Book in advance as its no secret how great it is in the Shed.

Visited on Saturday, 20th July, with a friend having booked by email a week earlier. Was greeted by a friendly young lady who showed us to our table. Drink order taken and delivered in short order. Lovely ambience with a light, airy restaurant that was buzzing but not noisy with conversation all around us. Menus brought and ordering process explained for the tapas meal. It's all very straightforward. We had 4 tapas, with wings, prawns, mushrooms, sardines, and extra bread and aoli. The food was tasty, well presented, and plentiful. The bill was a tad over £50 pounds with 2 glasses of wine ,2 beers, and a small bottle of water. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely go there again. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had there tapas. We tried lots of different ones with my favourite being their roast potatoes with chorizo. We also had cocktails and my expresso martini was very tasty .. I would highly recommend.

Best tapas I’ve ever had! I love Greek food so it was brilliant to be able to have a mix of Greek/Spanish food. We ordered 6 things between 2 of us which was too many but we wanted to try so many things. Every dish was delicious and I cannot wait to go back. Excellent value for money too and great, friendly service.

This was our first visit but definitely not our last. What a wonderful place. Great atmosphere, super friendly. The food was delicious especially the trio of desserts. We over ordered and couldn’t eat it all as we got carried away. The staff were absolutely brilliant. They were young and a credit to themselves and their employer. Looking forward to returning.

A group of us ladies went here for the first time for our Christmas night out. The food choices were excellent and the portion sizes were enough for 3 to share. Loved every dish we tried it was so tasty and hot. Would definitely come back hand recommend.

The Shed helped me host an afternoon celebration for my 40th birthday. I couldn't possibly be happier with the way it turned out. From the initial idea, we worked with the venue to create exactly what I wanted. Feeding around 70 people. The owners and bar staff went to such great lengths to accommodate. Everyone loved the food and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. Thank you so much!

Great place, we had a 5.45pm on Thursday 26th October,booking for myself, wife and inquisitive 21month old puppy, we were treated very well by all of the lovely staff. We had a number of tapas dishes and one of the waitresses brought a bowl of water for the puppy, the meal was delicious and we will certainly return and recommend The Shed to friends and the guests we have at our Glamping site. Everything was ‘spot-on’ with no negative points at all. Many thanks to all the staff for a wonderful early evening meal.

Nice decor and bar area, let down by some frankly poor tapas. Being by the sea, you might expect some fresh seafood. No such luck at the Shed. Whilst some parts were okay, and the service and ambience were good, the food was a massive disappointment.

We finally booked a table here after two unsuccessful attempts.The food was very good bacon wrapped dates was my favourite.The service with all young staff was very good and not rushed but attentive.They also had a local singer who sang everything from Ed Sheeran to Frank Sinatra which created a great atmosphere.Will definitely go back for seconds.

Another excellent meal at the Shed. We celebrated my friends 60th and it was amazing . There were 22 of us and everyone was really happy with the delicious tapas . We had wide range of tapas to choose from , there is something for everyone. Highly recommended .

Really surprised how good this place was. Service friendly and efficient. Cocktails very good and beer also good. Had two tapas each and some crispy pitta. It was more than enough (although my wife managed a brownie for pudding (which she said was the best she has had). The food was excellent - very reasonably priced and high quality. The Cypriot beans were our favourite! £50 for all the food and drink - very good value. Will definitely return to try some different dishes. Thank you

Absolutely Wonderful food, great menu choice, beautifully presented, each dish tasted fabulous. friendly atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. I Definitely recommend this tapas bar - one of the best we have had ! Worth a journey to visit and very reasonably priced . Was worth every penny !

Gave this a try this week on holiday. The service and the food were great. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone that likes tapas. I also think it's the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in. Which is an unusual thing to notice when out for a meal.

We have visited the fish restaurant side of The Shed during two previous holidays but this time we decided to give the Tapas restaurant a go. We were served by the absolutely delightful Jess Grace who looked after us throughout the visit. The food was wonderful! We started with a portion of taramasalata and were so pleased that we didn’t fill up on this dip. We had the ‘ little fishes’, beef stifado, meatballs and a chicken skewer dish from the ‘Specials’ menu. (We also had the Patatos bravas but, tasty as this dish was, there was no way that we could eat very much of it!) The beef stifado took my husband back to a Greek island holiday from 40years ago it was so good. My favourite were the beef and pork meatballs and I even asked Jess to ask the Chef what herbs were used. (Chef’s secret). All the dishes tasted so fresh and were full of flavour. The Shed is an absolute Gorleston Gem and we wish the owners every success. PS….Message for Jess Grace….we hope the GCSE results are fabulous and that you achieve all that you dream of!

Food was delicious and portion size are great. We did not leave hungry. Staff are lovely and friendly. Service impeccable!! Great cocktails and drinks selection. 🍸 I like a bit of music but understand not everyone does but that would have made 10/10. Other than that 9/10

We went there at the start of January. Great decor, lovely atmosphere, staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating, most importantly the dishes are delicious and generous making it great value for money....... And local beer on tap. Our whole experience was delightful! This is a hidden gem 10/10

If you love the traditional Spanish tapas style of eating, you need to get yourself down to this place! I visited on a cold January night and found the welcome as warm as a summers evening! Fantastic food, friendly staff and an ambience to die...

The cocktail I had here was very good. It was super busy with people eating at tables so we couldn't have a convo at the bar because it was just so loud. We actually believed it was a new bar place but I couldn't find any info as there's no sign you can see from driving by. It was until we finally went on a Saturday night we realised it was The Shed & they had expanded is all. We left as a band was setting up but we will be coming back for food soon & I'm sure I will make that 5 🌟

We really enjoyed coming here - I believe the owner served us personally, and her approach to our son's nut allergy was much appreciated. The welcome was warm, the restaurant was pleasant and the food was a delight. My one, minor, comment was that the patatas bravas and the other potato dish we ordered both had a bit of water at the base of the dish - so the sauce was a bit thin - but really, really this one comment shouldn't detract from an overall 5/5 experience.

The food was expensive but it was a nice dinner. Though I haven’t walked away thinking I’m dying to go back.
