Mathew was super friendly and let my 3 year old try a flavour before she chose. Nice cosy shop, good selection of treats & decent value.

We were passing through Aberkenfig and popped into this ice cream parlour on one of the hottest days of the year. I am so glad we did, we tried Joe’s ice cream for the first time and highly enjoyed it. We also liked the service and ambience, we will definitely return - already looking forward to it! I think between us we sampled most of the ice creams and they were all delicious. Absolutely fantastic!

We had such a warm welcome from Mathew at the Shack. The ice cream was perfect, and the shop itself is so lovely. What a brilliant little place! Love the brownies and the fact that they have Joes Ice Cream is amazing! Will absolutely be visiting again soon!

Awesome range of ice cream flavours, I haven’t had an ice cream soda in a long time and it was so good. I notice that the menu will be expanding, can’t wait to see what other tasty treats they’ll be doing there. They also do a loyalty card, free ice cream on sixth visit!!

We have visited here 3 times now, and each time the service is excellent. A nice selection of joes ice cream flavours, including our favourites, vanilla, Oreo and mint choc chip. Great value too at £2 for a sundae with a scoop of ice cream, topping and sauce. We will definitely be regular visitors. Rated 1000/10 by my daughter too!!! It must be good!

It's great to see another small independent business in Bridgend. The fact they sell Ice Cream is the best kind of bonus, Joe's Ice Cream is definitely the best Welsh made Ice Cream. (maybe the best in the UK) I no longer have to travel to Swansea to purchase tubs of the stuff that then melt on the journey home. Also, I no longer have to pay over inflated prices for Joe's in the local supermarkets. The Shack has all the flavor's, all the condiments, and other treats, all at a very reasonable price. The décor and layout is extremely welcoming and the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful, he just couldn't. I will be returning imminently. I strongly suggest YOU do the same.

Called into the newest shop in aberkenfig and was really pleased with the choice of ice creams, we both opted for different flavours. The caramel was delicious and the vanilla with sauce topping and sprinkles were great. I look forward to see what they will be adding to the menu soon.

Loved the colourful and funky decor! Pick and mix sundaes were a hit with the kids and the medium was great value for money with 2 flavours of ice cream, 3 toppings and sauce. Highly recommend to satisfy a sweet craving

I'm so glad we stopped in! Delicious bread and so many options for sweet treats! The Wagon Wheels are one of my absolute favorites! We'll be making another visit to Cardigan just to visit this location again.

Stopped by on the off chance during a Wednesday lunchtime with a damp dog. It looks a little tired from the outside but it had a small car park. We were welcomed into a very cosy pub with a lovely log fire. Stayed for lunch as they were doing 2 for £16. The food was great, almost certainly home cooked especially the chips. The staff and locals were very friendly and we would definitely stop again if ever passing this way. My only wish is that they did a real ale or two but the staff did explain that it didn't sell very quickly so rather than let it go stale they just stopped selling it.
