The Scenic Supper in Cheltenham

Lovely food especially the chicken parfait, beef rib & Christmas pudding baked Alaska. Mains could have done with more veg. Wonderful cocktails & winter spiced apple

Everything about this was good - the food, the wine, the cocktails (that Laphroigh Amaretto sour really was something else!!). Had the pork belly and fish pie for mains - both of us loved it all. Salmon starter & beetroot salad with burnt apple puree was delish. Lemon creme brûlée was a stroke of genius & the chocolate dessert which my other half had - and wouldn't share! - looked amazing. Still gutted I couldn't persuade him to try the Christmas pudding baked Alaska… But the best & heartbeat of it all was the staff/guys. Great energy, just the right amount of attention, really funny, really nice & the reason we’ll most definitely be back! You can find good food in lots of places — and this was GOOD - but cool staff/servers/chefs etc running it w high energy, zest & warmth is a rarer beast. And Scenic Suppers nailed this!
