The sands chippy is better than the chipshops in Barmouth 100percent better chip's than the mermaid, and loved the kebab with hot chili sauce 😋

Delicious, freshly cooked fish and chips. Exceptional service - couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended

Had carvery here on Sunday, really lovely food, the staff were friendly, especially the lady who was cleaning the tables who wrapped up our leftover beef for us to take home for our dogs. Will definitely be revisiting when we come on our next holiday.

I well great staff with excellent service. Food the mortal chicken was to die for with salad and chips . Its not a small chicken. The batter cod was also nice and fresh. One tip if you have the chicken share and have wet wipes. We will be back with friends👍💥🥂

Just had an amazing Sunday roast. Veg was beautifully cooked and Al dente. The creamy leeks were especially delicious. I don’t eat meat but one of our party had the beef, which was cooked perfectly (i.e medium rare) Great value and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

The reviews of this place need reviewing! It’s pretty grim. The waitress talked about the chef lol. Who puts a rocket salad on the same plate as a curry and rice? The burger was one of those you buy at a market burger bar. Not so much black Welsh beef more beef of “unknown source”! Overall the meal was overpriced and served by staff with little or no hospitality skills.

Ate here a few times during my stay at a neighbouring caravan park. The food was always hot and delicious and large sized portions. Could do with a bit more on the menu, but otherwise no complaints. The staff were always polite and friendly. Only complaint is that the decoration could do with being modernised a bit, but other than that I will definitely be back if I’m back in the area.

I called by Sands during the afternoon and had a beer. Me, “Are you showing the match this evening?” Bar staff, “Yes, but make sure you get in early to secure.” Me, “Ok. Absolutely..” I arrive at 18:55 for 19:30 kick off. Spoke with bar staff who confirms they’re showing the match I wished to watch. At ten minutes in during the second half, bar staff switch to a London Derby that has just kicked off. I then appeal that a number of patrons have already spent good money and been watching the ‘advertised’ match into the second half. This falls on deaf ears … A number of alienated customers, including me, then left. Many of us had already spent a fair amount at that point on food and drink. I am unlikely to return now and I’d been a regular for some time. The family have had a plot on the adjacent caravan site for 40 years. The lad next to me, a regular too for many years said he was not returning; feeling very let down. I appreciate that staff had difficult decisions to make but I’d made an effort in the afternoon to ensure the match was on and got in early that evening and arrived early as requested. We’d already watched 55 minutes of the match when it was turned over. Poor is an understatement …

The Sands American diner is total crap now iv said it! We always go here but are going to stop next year as we waited ages for chips and burgers only for them to have lost the ticket and got no apology as the main man big bloke is too busy talking to all his regulars and mates to give a monkeys about normal folk! He served his pal before us who had a big order only to then charge him nothing as his friends get specials or freebies, we are still waiting and still ignored and to be honest kept telling hubby to go somewhere else. There utter crap , a case of if the face don't fit.......you might get served eventually?

Eleven of us walked into the club at 6:30pm, we were all seated and eating before 7:00pm, food was excellent, good choice one member was gluten free, spoke with the chef, and gave a good choice of what he could make for GF, they are going to add to the GF, selection great experience would recommend

I walked in and we do come a lot as have a caravan close. I came tonight and I walked in went to the bar. One barman on and was serving. A lady walked up after me who then got served straight away. She must have been a regular as she called barman Jimmy. That's fine but only a few in he saw me walk upto bar but served a regular person. I also blame her as I would have sd she was here first. So basically if Jimmy is on you won't get served if regulars are in
