My wife and I had a delightful dinner Sandeman Quarter last month. The Quarter has two separate areas. One is the Bar 1790 and the more formal is The Don. We ate in the Don. The staff was very attentive and gave us excellent advice. The food was prepared as ordered and was superb. The wine selection is exceptional and the sommelier’s recommendations spot on. After dinner, we were shown around the restaurant which was very interesting: the cellars and tunnel are fascinating. I very strongly recommend the Sandeman Quarter. Please be careful reading reviews of the restaurant called The Don—it may be a previous incarnation of the same name at this location. Any reviews before 2023 do not describe this current fine restaurant.

17 Hertford StDetta är fisk av högsta klass. England är ju inte direkt berömda för sin förnämliga kok-konst, men om man vill ha riktigt, riktigt vällagad fisk är detta rätt ställe. Visst, det är dyrt. Men smakar det så kostar det.Om inte annat kan man gå hit för känslan. Wheelers är en klassiker, både en restaurang och en sevärdhet på en gång. Nästa Fantastiska fisk-middag kan man hitta i Soho eller på någon av hotell-restaurangerna i Mayfair. Om man följer goda råd finns det alla möjligheter...
