Absolutely beautiful restaurant, amazing staff and food. Waiters were was amazing will most definitely be coming back I do recommend!

Sagwal is a taste sensation, polite staff and relaxed atmosphere.

3 of us had vegetarian meals tonight, the food was lovely. The aubergine dish was so light yet very tasty. Will definitely go back.

The madras had a slight fruity taste to it ! And the chicken pieces had different textures- some firm - some soft.

Went out for a meal with friends. The service and food was very good. The only thing that let it down for all of us was the plates were cold. But would recommend, no bar but you can take your own and pay minimum corkage charge.

everything about this place was outstanding. it was my first time trying with my family and we all loved it. food was exceptional alongside the service. they took care of us very well and ensured we were comfortable and had the best time. highly recommend!!

Ordered a Lamb Biriyani for takeaway. Unfortunately I have to give this place a 1*. Biriyani lacks major flavour. Very plain. Lamb pieces are small and taste dry, almost as if they are old cooked bits of meat that have been thrown in. Not the freshest unfortunately and I feel like I have wasted my money. I only live less than 10 minutes away and the biriyani was cold. Will not be ordering from here again. Staff are nice and friendly.

I ordered a chicken tikka tawa , which I regularly have at various other restaurants without problems.. but this one was way to spicy ..so the dish was taken back to the kitchen and they were going to recook a mild one . The one that came back I think was the same meal! And again to spicy ! I won't be returning

Today I order food from rupees lounge.. It was not good at all... Very plain no taste.. I ordered paneer Masala dish and they delivered Saag Paneer...Order confused 😕 Well I will never ever ordered again.. Tasteless food

7 of us eating out tonight, what a fabulous meal for everyone of us!

My partner and I, and our 4 teenagers, visited for the very first time on Saturday evening and had a wonderful meal! Each dish was delicious and we all cleared our plates with gusto! The service was excellent too and we will certainly be returning very soon!

What on earth has happened to this place? Tried to order a take away on the web site. Doesn't work. Went and ordered face to face thought I may have a Cobra to while away the time waiting for my overpriced order. No alcohol any more. Waited for quite a while and got my order. Got home totally the wrong order. I could actually forgive if the place had been rammed but they went exactly busy. Will not use again and my advice is don't bother either

We order takeaway from here regularly online and everytime the food is lovely and the delivery time is very reasonable usually about 45 minutes at most. We had a bad experience with our previous regular Indian takeaway which would often take 1hr to 1hr 30 mins with missing food items so I'm happy to say this restaurant has never forgotten any items and is always keeping a reasonable delivery time. The rogan josh is a particular favourite of mine I would recommend this dish.

The food and service are excellent here alcohol is not served here, but you can take your own. Also, there is ample parking.The only reservation I have is that there is a £1 cover charge for each glass supplied. Other than that, a well-deserved 5 stars.

Deserves 10 stars and more! We’ve just been for dinner, had a lamb madras and a chicken Balti jalfrazi, onion Bhaji, poppadoms, chilli cheese naan and a chapati! One word, outstanding! Customer service from start to finish was excellent, best curry we have had in years! Love that you can bring your own beer, so serves to everyone’s preference of drink. You’ve made two regulars tonight, we will be telling friends and family and we can’t wait to be back!

Awful food and service. I think they must cook out of pre made jars like uncle Ben’s. No flavour whatsoever. Never again!

Food was excellent, some of the best Indian food we have had. Service was the same. The only thing I could mark them down on was that it was a little cold and had to tell them to turn the a/c down.

Food wasn’t as flavoursome as I’m used to, over priced menu too.

Haven’t had a takeaway from here is some time however the one we have had tonight was terrible! The curry’s we had were so watery that they lost all taste and to compensate, loads of spice was added. Also the naan bread were oily and on one of them there was a burnt spot, which I assumed was just a dark/burnt spot on the naan. However it was clearly something else which had been in the oven which had burnt onto the naan which totally ruined the naan once I realised this after taking a bite. I don’t think I will be going here again, which is a shame as the quality used to be so high.

Had a takeaway collected. Balti was watery and garlic king prawn was lukewarm only.

Used to be a lovely take away but unfortunately it has gone downhill. The curry’s are ok but nothing special and more sauce than anything else. I ordered an onion bahji and there was barely any onion in it, was basically a lump of poorly flavoured batter. To top it off the garlic naan bread was cold, chewy and garlicless.

Beautiful, really tasty korahi curry. Perfectly spiced; tender 'soft' lamb. Nice piano music adds to a relaxing atmosphere. Will be back!

Armature staff and very basic food. The meat was very old and tuff. The takeaway food in general was evidently microwaved. It ended up in the garden for the birds. This place used to be popular years ago bot it has lost its spark.

Eaten from here a few times an the food has generally been fine but tonight's take away delivery was absolutely tasteless. Definitely not worth £32 for 2 people. Imho the Rupali is so much better and rarely has an off day.

Hidden gem! We found this place by chance. And wow how we were glad to, the food was the best I've ever eaten, the fish tikka was delicious 😋 and our baltis were so tasty. I'll definitely be making the 30 min drive often to eat here again. Staff are also welcoming. Thanks guys

Last time we had a meal it was very nice tonight the starters were lovely the curry was tasteless it felt watered down very disappointing. Will not bother again I would normally support local businesses but unfortunately I can't now

Nice friendly staff, good food, takes a bit of time to get the bill and the boss could be a bit more positive about his staff who were attentive and working hard overall very good and not load.

We had eaten there a few years back and it was lovely, BUT we ordered from them yesterday and my god it was hands down the worst curry I've every had, Firstly the curries themselves were very very watery and it was filled with really small chunks of meat - The sort you would find in a frozen burrito, To be honest everything looked and tasted like it was frozen and re heated as it was just super watery and plain, Secondly the Naan - Tell me how the picture ive uploaded is meant to be a Keema naan, It was burned with no meat what so ever - just a red paint sandwiched between two paper plates, Oh and thirdly they got the order wrong but to be honest not having an item was the highlight of the order, Please Rupee lounge fix what ever has happened, as you were once a really really nice place too eat at ....But now id actively tell people too stay away

Dissapointed, food was bland, cheese naan had no taste. Curry was mostly onions more like a casserole, didnt all come out together either, dont think they spice the food properly, lamb chops were tough, staff was friendly.

Recently visited here for a birthday meal. Service excellent and food was just as good. I would recommend a visit. Reasonably priced meals and tasteful decor. The background music was a treat. We loved it.

I have just ordered through Deliveroo , the meal arrived earlier than the estimated time it was red hot and absolutely delicious . This restaurant is my go to from now on . Every element of my order was fresh, good quality I would highly recommend.

Not great. Their chicken biryani made me sick all evening and night after eating it. It is not made fresh and I dont know what is in it that made me so sick but definitely won't be going there again. I will avoid it.

I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Murgh. The food so good it must of come from the chef's top shelf. Taste is beyond imagination. I can't wait to order again. Keep up the good work.

The great thing about this place is every curry has its own unique style and taste. Too many curry houses where all the currys taste the same. If you don't like this place its because you don't like real indian food!

Samosa was good and tasted homemade for starter but there was not enough of the relishes to accompany the poppadoms. All of the main dishes were exceptionally red, my tikka masala sauce was a bit disappointing. They had no lassi but when I asked for one, they made one especially for me, which was a nice touch. The staff were all friendly. I also had a pistachio kulfi which was ok.

I don’t think I’ll have another takeaway from here.....I had chicken tikka. The chicken was dry and tough, the salad was 95% shredded lettuce one piece of tomato and one piece of cucumber. My husband had the Rupee special he said it was a tasty curry but the onions were very chunky and barely cooked almost raw. Very disappointed customers on this occasion.

Placed two orders here now via the just eat app and neither time gave they got the order right... First time given some poppadoms n dip as compo second time couldnt be asked to go back, food is OK and reasonably priced but nothing to shout about.

Went to Rupee lounge last night for a meal, asked for the offer menu which the waiter didnt seem happy about,asked me if i asked for the offer menu when i booked the table which i did. Food i cannot fault as it was lovely but the service was quite slow,there was a few people in and only 1 waiter who seemed like he didnt want to be there

Avoid! just had this delivered through just eat with clear instructions not to ring the bell - these were ignored by the delivery man and our child woke up - so good start! The food was appalling - the wife and I ended up sharing my lamb balti which was just passable - the sauce only with some naan bread. The meat in the balti was fatty and hard. The mixed grill is laughable as it contained a few pieces of dry, hard meat and the wife's chicken tikka was so red i thought they opened up a can of red paint and put some chicken in it. There was also a hair in the so called "free" portion of something. It was scribbled on the lid and we had no idea what it was!! Breaking news: the wife has just informed me she has just felt sick in the bathroom. Just awful - felt like I was eating a child's attempt of a curry from a bad home economics class. Just don't do it to yourself - your body deserves better! Coventry deserves better! This is just horrendous!

Away from home on business. Saw this place and I'm glad I did. I was well looked after and the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Very disappointed with the service (or lack of it!!) this evening. We are regular customers and usually the service and food are excellent but not tonight!! We waited 20 mins and nobody came to ask for our drinks order, we had no menus and despite two other couples arriving after us and had their drink and food orders taken, we decided to walk out!!

Very nice place that served excellent food. Good choice and all the classic things you'd expect from a curry house. Serves alcohol. Reasonable prices. Veyr helpful and keen to help with anything that we weren't totally happy with. Good decor too.

Gone completely down hill! Use to be the place to go around banner brook and tile hill but after my last visit I won't be returning. Mix Grills coming out on cold plates instead of sizzling platters. Only getting one chunk of chicken tikka, lamb was dry and chewy. Tandoori chicken leg was alright but still cold. Nann being cut up in to kidies portions. Only thing that was half alright was the balti but that ant enough for me to go back. Only reason they're getting two stars is because the one gent who served us was a (bloke in the glasses) was a sound bloke.

Once I left my phone at the restaurant, I thought I have lost it but the kind management kept the phone for me , charged it and returned to me . Food is also excellent. Strongly suggest .

Not good at all, bland curry, packet nan breads and chapatis, not made in the clay oven as the menu states, curry's full of food colouring. This is the second time our work group have eaten there, twenty people all agreed the food is rubbish. We won't be going back.

Staff are lovely but food was not brilliant, to much red colour in food very off putting, chicken dry and over the top in ghee. Had and upset stomach all night and most of friday !!

Great restaurant, really nice relaxed atmosphere and staff were superb. Made recommendations and explained some dishes on menu. Food was lovely, great if you like some heat in your curry! Large portions and really tasty, really couldn't fault it. Would definitely go back when in the area.

I have used this restaurant before and been totally satisfied but last nights order took 65 minutes instead of the 25-35 mins stated when ordered online, and although the mains were tasty they were not very warm and the starters were over cooked and fairly inedible . Will think twice before ordering again
