I ordered a takeout with Uber eats 10 days ago and been waiting for a Refund for my whole order . My order was disgusting . I ordered a chicken Curry and Rice I couldn’t even eat it as it was like a vindaloo and couldn’t even eat it . My friend ordered a butter Chicken Curry and it was like a korma because of the taste of coconut in it . They went in the bin straight away . The whole order was nearly 34.00 and I rung the restaurant and was told to complain to uber eats . Never again with I order a takeaway from this place . Don’t waste your time with trying to get a refund either because they don’t even bother answering your complaint.

The food and service were excellent. I don’t typically write reviews, but I genuinely enjoyed my meal. The staff was really friendly, especially Callum at the bar. I will definitely be returning!

This is a great and spotless restaurant, and it’s refreshing to see staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. The food is the finest Asian cuisine you’ll find in Coventry. There’s plenty of parking at the back, but it’s wise to make a reservation in advance!

We visited as a family, and the youngest loved the outdoor play area. The curry was delicious, and the keema naan was outstanding—it's rare to find a place that serves a keema naan quite like that!

I've visited the New Horseshoes Bar and Grill several times, and the service continues to improve impressively. Honestly, I can't find any fault—it's a full 5 stars for taste, presentation, and serving time. I must commend the team on their exceptional service and hospitality. I can't stop raving about the Chicken Tikka Calzone from Khan's Grill. The blend of spices and sauces was perfection in every bite. I will definitely be back for more.

I’m amazed by how great this place is. It’s like an Indian version of Nando’s, but even better! I really wish there was one closer to where I live. Definitely deserves a full 5 stars!

I visited the new Horseshoe with friends and the food was exceptional. Instead of my usual lager, I decided to try a Guinness, and it turned out to be the best I've ever had—I’ll definitely be ordering it more frequently! I highly recommend checking out the new Horseshoe.

Without a doubt, this is the BEST Indian restaurant in Coventry. The flavors are genuinely authentic, portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, all in a stylish, contemporary setting. The staff is extremely courteous, and the process is straightforward: grab a drink at the bar, then place your food order at the open kitchen where you can see the chefs in action! We tried the Horseshoe Grill, which was enormous, along with several different curries. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and everyone at our table loved it.

I visit this place every Wednesday with my family and friends, and we always enjoy the chicken tikka. It’s incredibly tasty and stands out from any other chicken tikka I’ve had. I definitely encourage friends and family to come—it’s fantastic!

ordered a colection last night for a chicken curry and a chicken jalfrezi, very dissapointed in both dish,s they we,re far too spicy and basically unbearable to eat and binned them both

The staff are friendly, and the food is exceptional. The mixed grill offers generous portions, and the keema muttar is likely the best I've tasted. There’s a wide variety of dishes, with plenty of great options for vegetarians. This place is a must-visit for everyone!

It's been a while since our last visit, but we were happy to find that the food is just as fantastic as we remembered. The tikka grill offers excellent value, and the chili chips are absolutely delicious. There’s a solid drink selection, and having Aspalls on draft is a wonderful bonus. We’ll definitely be returning frequently!

Busy Pub/restaurant. Best Indian food. Everything cooked fresh to order. Hard working , friendly staff especially Ash who is very helpful and obliging. Top dishes that I recommend are Chicken Jalfrezi and chicken Tikka and naan! Brilliant!

The food is truly outstanding; I can't find anything to complain about. I've been here multiple times and have never had a poor meal. The staff are fantastic extremely friendly and very accommodating.

I’ve visited and eaten in here many times and I’ve never been disappointed. I have just had a taken away that arrived very quickly and it was absolutely awful. The regular mixed grill was very very small and full of red colouring and did not taste good, such a rip off for £16. The butter chicken was luminous red and basically looked and tasted like tomato soup in frozen chicken defrosted, again awful, awful awful. I’m so disappointed and felt I’d been ripped off. I just don’t understand why eating in, the food is so different, although I have not been for the past year. I will go in and eat here again and see if they have gone down hill. I will never ever order take away from here again. IMO Khushi grill is best in Cov for eat in and take away. Hot shoe eat in is good, takeaway bad!

Spent £38 on a takeaway from here and I had 40% off. The food was absolutely awful. Butter chicken tasted off and was bright red in colour. The chips were so dry and stale, the mint yogurt was curdled and paneer pizza tasted like feta cheese was just inedible. I am gutted as the menu looked lovely and I'm not one to moan normally but this was just a waste if money.

I’ve visited this place many times and I’m always pleased! I highly recommend the butter chicken, chili chicken, masala chips, and, of course, the mixed grill! The prices are fair, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely.

I stopped by with my friends on Saturday night and enjoyed a fantastic atmosphere. The grill was incredible! I recommend getting the large grill it’s amazing!

I ordered a chicken tikka masala but I got a bright red sauce which is very different to the chicken tikka masala I know. I lost my appetite looking at it and the taste is just not the same. I did call the restaurant to find out if I got a wrong order but the staff told me that the restaurant has been making their own like that for over 5 years now. Maybe other customers may love this new recipe but unfortunately I didn't.

The food is no good! It just tastes like a senseless mixture of spices that doesn’t really create any good flavour in the mouth. I’ve had lamb biryani from here before and it just tastes like curry powder and not much else. I like spicy food but this food is not even a good flavour of spice. I recently ordered lamb bhuna which tastes like chilli powder and does not have any original bhuna flavour. Too much food colouring as well. To make this worse. My delivery took ages to get to me and the food was even worse tasting because it was cold. My nan was soggy and wet so disgusting to be honest. Very disappointing!! 🚮 Would not recommend at all!

Disgusting, cold sour food. Just full of food colouring. Avoid this place at all costs. Full order wasted and in the bin. Ordered through Uber eats, so the restaurant refused to help or offer refund. Shocking place I can’t understand the 5 star reviews.

This place is a golden gem of a find! Arrived just before 6pm, the atmosphere was relaxed. When entering you can sit where you like, you walk up to order your food in one area and drinks in another. The speed of service is also great. The flavours were beautiful and nicely seasoned. I highly recommend this place.

Ordered delivery from Uber eats, buhna tasted awful has a weird sour tangy flavour, same with the onion bahjis, poppadoms werent crispy, chicken was over cooked and chewy, only good thing was the vegetable samosas, would not recommend

Gave me and my boyfriend food poisoning! I am 100% certain it was the food from here as we hadn’t ate anything prior that day and the sickness started 4-6 hours after eating, food hygiene needs to be checked. Most probably temps of meat aren’t being checked properly after cooking! A shame too as we regularly ordered food here and had no issues before. Please be vigilant.

Honestly the best chicken tikka, pilau rice and chips I've had in Coventry I ordered tonight and was blown away how nice it was

Ordered for delivery. Called and requested no onions and was told that it was no problem. When delivered it was full of onions. Chefs said they did cook it without onions. I called and asked if I drove to them with it would they replace and they refused. Clearly by the picture you can see there's onion in it

The takeaway this time tasted different to previous orders that we've had. The chicken curry and dal makhani weren't as good. Some of the chicken tikka pieces in the Horseshoe grill tasted raw so threw them in the bin. Called today to ask if there's been a change of chef and to also say that the chicken was raw. The person that I spoke to didn't seem bothered. He said that there hasn't been a change of chef and that it was really busy yesterday evening. Raw chicken can cause food poisoning so I'm not impressed with their lack of accountability.

Me and my family went for a curry on a Tuesday night. The food was extremely tasty, I had a chicken curry and the staff had asked how spicy I wanted it. The staff were approachable and friendly, particularly Calum who couldn’t do enough for us. The atmosphere was light and perfect for a family meal. Will definitely be returning to the new horseshoe. Great beer too!

Nice mixed grill, ordered the Horseshoe Mixed Grill which was very tast, enough to feed three adults. Prices are ok as well. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but I would say Kushi Grill is a slightly better choice

I’m really not one to ever write reviews, but the food was so bad. This is honestly the worst food I’ve ever ordered. The Rogan Josh was literally tomato puree with a load of spices chucked in with over cooked chicken. The naan bread was so odd and soggy, tasted like it was old and been microwaved. The samosas were over cooked. Took a few bites and then all went straight in the bin.

Pretty bad! Specifically asked for no ghee in the food as I hate the taste. Was told they can use dairy free. Once again mentioned if they can use oil and not ghee and was told that there was no problem. All the food has been left so all 4 of us ended up eaten just naan and salad after tasting the food. What made it worse was that no one even came over to ask if everything was ok and when eventually this was brought up was given a simple ‘oh’ and they never came back to me. Similar thing happened at the hungry elephant and straight away the guy was apologetic and changed the food. At the Horseshoe, not even get an acknowledgment. Bad example of Indian food and hospitality. Will not return.

Great place to park your car and have a beer and food on match day

Try this as it was recommended, food was good and so was the service ,it was quite busy with a few Christmas parties goin on ,but still got our food in a good time ,prices were very good too ,but it was like bein in a hall with tables ,the food order is a hatch at the back leading on to the kitchen, just think it needs a bit more work on the actual room ,other than that nice meal out .

Ordered a delivered takeaway mixed grill, keema naan, chicken biriyani. Quite disappointing to see no salad. Most other Pubs supply this. The food was very oily. The Keema naan, was flavourless, and greasy. But it was a mass of meat! It was so much mass, you could not fold it to make a scoop for your food! The mixed grill was a bit cheap in variety, as they bulked it up with fried onions, and reduced the meat to what you would get if you ate in the pub. (I have ate many times in the pub) Also the cuts of lamb were loaded with fat, and the lamb kebabs were very fatty. Normal lamb varies between 5 and 20% fat. This was probably in the region of 30%. Heart attack material. The marinate was very mild in flavour. So mild, I would say it was aimed for a non-asian customer. Problem is if you go into any of their pubs, they are 70% or more populated with Indian customers! Charges? Well I have ate in most places the Midlands, and the charges were not competitive to other places....especially where the food and flavour content was much, much greater! I think they need to train or replace the chef, and re-evaluate their business....For a simple order, they flopped, not failed! Me and my wife, went to a fish and chips shop, and ate that instead. Very poor food from this place. Keep Away

First time and thought me and my friend try it out. Very bad customer service and plus we had a member of the lease business owner family person joining us and making us uncomfortable. My lamb curry was very spicy and I told them but they just said if you don't like it you know were the door is. Iv got it recorded on my phone. Voice recorded. Its not a nice place to eat when you a paying customer.

Great food, recommend the horseshoe grill. Great atmosphere, not too busy for a sunday afternoon, would recommend for a Great mixed grill.

First visit tonight. Cheese naan is fantastic, should have had two. Rogan Josh spicier than expected but butter chicken was perfect. Huge car park. Staff are on top of everything and the on tap drinks are great. Huge seating area for large parties. Totally recommended.
