Mash was crunchy and cultalry was dirty and family member didn't get any guacamole and forgot to come out and tell us they sold out out a food we ordered

Less than inspiring. Drab decor. Smelly toilets. Helpful girl behind the bar when I ordered but tasteless burger and what my wife described as ‘plastic’ chicken with her salad. Really cheap so I suppose you get what you pay for. Won’t be visiting again.

It’s infested with bed bugs. I killed two that came out from behind the toilet roll holder! If you must go, sit on a wooden seat, keep your coat on, and your bags in your lap.

Staff need to kick out those that are drunk instead of letting them shout and swear in the establishment. Not something that I want to hear when out with my significant other. It’s nots funny when your eating let alone when out with friends. If it happens again maybe I’ll think twice about visiting

We visited the Royal Tiger on a Saturday morning at the end of July, and ordered breakfast via the Wetherspoons app. The drinks came out quickly, and the food soon followed. The breakfast wrap was lovely. My Mother said the bacon roll was equally as tasty. Service was good and Mandy was polite and friendly. 5/5.

Alot of the breakfast menu was unavailable so had the traditional breakfast all nice and fresh only down side was eggs were hard, guy serving was lovely and friendly.

I really dont know what to say about this branch of weatherspoons as its a bit hit and miss. We frequent here sometimes on a friday with friends, sometimes its really warm other times its a tad chilly, sometimes its really busy and loud and others its quiet. I know it all depends on what time of the day you go in so that answers that. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is nice with a varied menu for all tastes. The thing I dislike is those stupid screens that make it difficult to get to sit at some tables. Either you are moving the tables from side to side or banging them into chairs of those sitting on the other side because there is no way out and not enough room. However I must say the staff are polite and friendly and you always bump into someone you know

Wetherspoon's pubs are places we have avoided going to since the pandemic as we thought they would be crowded and with no social distancing, but, on a recent visit to Wednesfield we got caught in a rain shower and decided to look in the Royal Tiger to see if it was full, and if it was, to go elsewhere. We were surprised to find it mostly empty, both in the drinking area and the eating area, and even more (pleasantly) surprised to find that screens had been erected around the dining area and a number of tables removed to make the remainder socially distant, so it felt quite safe. We didn't order via the app but from the bar and our food arrived in less than 10 minutes and was of good standard. Will definitely visit again.

I ordered food via the app and there were no beef burgers or fish so I ordered the Signature Sirloin steak. I was later told the lack of choice was due to a broken grill. When the steak arrived I noticed that there was something missing which turned out to be the peas. It was not until I complained that I was asked if I wanted anything to replace them. I'd asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare. However, when I started to eat it it became apparent that the meat wasn't just under cooked but completely raw. I complained and it was taken away and replaced which meant my wife had eaten her meal before I started mine. Although the manager came to check up on us nothing was offered in the way if compensation.

My son and his girlfriend payed for mels and drinks for 4. Payment was taken twice after being told first transaction failed. Told 2 days running to visit for reimbursement and on arrival both times told they couldn't be given it for one reason or another. Now told they have to wait a further 7 days 🙄 Disgraceful

The beer is well kept but the food can be smaller portions than other Wetherspoons (eg 1 less slice of bacon in your panini). Service can be slow as the staff seem inefficient and unmanaged, preferring to chat to their friends rather than clear tables or take orders.

15/05/21 Well when I arrived I was left standing outside the pub and wasn’t greeted by any member of staff who were standing chatting at the bar. A member of the public told me to go in. I was filling out my form and told the woman I didn’t have a mask in which she replied it’s been 2 years and you still don’t carry a mask. Which I thought was rude anyway, I went outside to the tables sat down and was approached by the same woman ‘Lucy’ her name was and she said “if you don’t have your ID either I’m not serving you” I hadn’t even said I wanted alcohol at this point. I didn’t have my ID on me anyway she then goes on to say “no ID and no mask” and walks off. She was just rude. Baring in mind the person I was with had their mask and ID it’s not like I was just being a nightmare I genuinely forgot them. Anyway after she said walked off from our table, not even ten minutes later another member off staff comes down and says “the manager has told me to tell you two to leave” in which I questioned, why has she sent you down here to me when she was literally stood talking to me a few minutes ago. He’s said “I don’t know but you’ve been asked to leave” so yeah I had a mouth at him but I left. The so called manager of this pub is rude and has 0 customer service skills. I was very unhappy with my experience today at the royal tiger.

Went here under the eat out to help out scheme on steak night. It was busy but the staff were helpful finding a table. Using the app is very easy and drinks came to the food very quickly. The food we all had was fantastic. Only slight downside was the kitchen had run out of mushrooms.

Beer is always well kept and food is usually a lot better than other Wetherspoons. Well recommended.

Nice to see a good display of Christmas decorations even if it is a bit early. My third time here and second for eating. Today I enjoyed a Sweet potato and spinach curry washed down with a Shipyard. My partner had the lamb shank which includes a free drink. My curry was good, but my partner thought that her meal was bland. The lamb came with very little gravy, so I had to ask for extra. Not too many root vegetables, maybe this is something that can be looked into during the busy winter period. I will return and try other foods on the menu.

Served by the bubbly bartender Stacey. Unlike a lot of other Wetherspoons quite a few of the customers here know the staff by name. I had a very good chicken burger and soft drink for under a fiver! Will go back

Popped in here for the last 2 weeks instead of our usual place, both times I have saved just over half of what I would normally spend.The drinks are reasonably priced along with the food. Makes it even better they I. Used the app so didn’t actually have to move unless I wanted to use the toilet.The weekend are pretty busyThe only downside is that the toilet are upstairs which I dislike in a pub however I hasn’t stopped me using the establishment

Have used this place for many years and have never had a bad meal here. Popped in for evening meal with friends and had the fish and chips with mushy peas - would have liked more peas, a very small amount. But I enjoyed the fish, it was very well cooked with light crispy batter. Had a couple of nice ales on - so a good visit.

Mostly go here for breakfast as its normally quiet, and get a decent hot breakfast, but just lately working local, so having lunch Instead.By this time every benifit claimant is by this time up and about, drinking and getting loud, shouting and balling at people walking in, especially the the office workers from across the road, staff turn a blind eye to it all, food isnt great, but other than Gregg's there isnt much choice about, Disabled toilet lock doesnt work, and toilet is a disgrace, no better than public toilets up by the bridge, that has druggies hanging about to get their fix . As you walk through the front doors you're surrounded by smokers puffin on cigarettes, with notices on the doors asking them not to, as I said earlier staff dont care , or move them out the back in the garden, then left all the butt ends laying over the floor, Food isnt the best at lunch, coffee n cake is fine, if you can get to the machine. Seating can be a job at lunchtime .. with granny's sitting all day long with a coffee. One bar staff lady is totally rude at times, dont listen to what your order is, then gets it wrong, but it's your fault not hers, If I had somewhere else to go for lunch I would, but this place is handy for the ace I'm working at, that's the only reason I go..

its near to the canal and shops and we found the staff very knowlegable, we hear them talking to a man about the beers they sell and they sort knew a lot all the staff where friendly and helpful and we decided on a cold drink and where served straight away and the price for a half was very good a lot cheaper than we had paid at other places, later we decided to have something to eat and it was hot and tasty, talking to the staff when they served us I found out it used to be a bakery, we liked the staff they where so friendly and helpful

Popped in for breakfast Excellent !!Food hot and looked and tasted great Staff so friendly I think the only thing that blights weatherspoons and not just this one is the loud drinkers at 10am of a morning Not just this one tho and they sadly can’t help it But my review is excellent first class service !!

Came here for our cooked breakfast and opted for table service off the website as bar packed so within few mins our drinks had arrived and then not long after our breakfasts so service good! Breakfasts hot but really skimped on the baked beans prob a spoonful on each plate! But tasted nice but reason for not full stars is toilets are a disgrace!! Dirty shabby some not working and grotty!! Come on u need a refurb!

Visited our local today 8th January for our tea, decided on the small fish unfortunately they didn't have so opted for the cottage pie a new addition to the menu it cost 4.99 but let me tell anyone else who orders this that it's not worth the money as you only get a small portion with peas and gravy and that's it.

Just had a visit to my local ' steak night but no steak, ended up with a rap oh dear what's going on ?

Fantastic pub to bring children very friendly staff, great food. We normally order something from the kids menu and the empire state burgers which are fab with a great American bun, lovely sitting booths to relax. Compared to the Newbridge and diner in cannock this is great come here regularly lovely American food.

Decided to go to this Wetherspoons after getting fed up of the dirty branch at Willenhall which we have used for some time. On the afternoon we went, the tables were all cleared and cleaned which was a pleasant surprise compared to the Willenhall branch. We ordered our food and it was delivered in 5 minutes by a smiling waitress, again a nice change given some of the sour-faced staff at some of the other Wetherspoons branches. Don't know if we just went in on a good day, but we enjoyed our visit and food and will pop in again soon.

Recently barred from this pub for standing up for myself when spoken to disrepectfully by Dave Manager who is both rude and no idea how to run a pub. He does allow in others who should be barred for far worse such as drugs. Let's the pub and area down. Sad as otherwise an ok pub.

The food was, as expected, typical wetherspoons fare. However where this pub differs from other spoons I have used over the years is in the choice of real ales. Absolute rubbish. Green king, sharps or theakstons. Not a decent independent brewery anywhere. Disgraceful from such an establishment. I would like to have words with whoever is responsible for ordering the beer.

We regularly eat here to have a quick, cheap and filling meal. Staff are friendly. Maz in particular, very friendly, caring and sincere - an asset to the pub!

Called in to pub for our lunch this was our first time and not our last great food and service friendly staff and the waitress was so friendly even went out her way to help a customer in a wheelchair , looking forward to our next visit .10/10

Visited the Tiger as we have done many times before, staff are very helpful and the food is always decent enough for a Weatherspoons and reasonably priced.

I go here quite often for a treat. The main menu is very varied with lots to choose from, great offers at good prices. The food is always cooked well & served hot. The staff are very friendly & helpful. There are lots of different areas to sit & enjoy your meal. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy but it's to be expected with a popular town pub.

We come here alot of the time cause the food is good,not this time we ordered the chicken wrap and another meal.when the chicken wrap came out it was hot,the salad on it was hot and the bread soggy.we make a complaint and the chef manager was sent out to us and it wasnt a nice greating.she told us we was in the wrong even tho my partner as this cold everytime.she was rude.she agreed to refund the meal.then i looked at the menu and it stated COLD chicken wrap.i went up and told them.she came out and said sorry she was in the wrong.Says something when the staff dont even know what they are cooking.Rude and i wont be returning!

Just passing & popped in for a coffee. Its a Typical Wetherspoons pub. we ended up having lunch here, nice portions & smiley staff. In all 'a nice place' will be coming back.

Not drink or food related but just wanted to say a massive thanks to the bar staff, Chris and the lady (sorry didn't get her name).

We go here all the time, food is decent quality, plentiful and cheap you can't really ask for more really. The only disappointment was when they removed the burrito from the menu I am hoping they will see sense and put it back on the next time.

This is one of the nicer Wetherspoon pubs in the Wolverhampton area. Nice decor, great quality food and the staff are really friendly. Also, unlimited bean to cup coffee for 90p? You can't really go wrong!

Regular visitor and always enjoy the food. Had the Christmas Lunch today including Christmas Pud. The Christmas Lunch was excellent, the picture in the advert doesn't do it justice. It was hot and tasted great including really nice gravy. The Christmas Pudding was I would rate as Deluxe not the normal catering style on offer. The service is always good and the staff at the Royal Tiger are always friendly.

My partner and l visit the Tiger in Wednesfield most days, it is a friendly atmophere and we have met some lovely people who have become our friends. I feel l could go in on my own its such a relaxed feeling, the staff are hard working and very obliging making sure everything is fine with the food. i visit the tiger very often my self, family and friends on a number of ocations the service is very good 2 members of staff are brilliant at there job there names are mandy and robin when i go in they allways know what breakfast and coffee i order.both of them have exelent customer service compared to one of your team leaders who on the 21st of november 2007 who served me i specifically asked for a bacon and sausage samwich on bread not on a roll as your bread is very much better than the bread rolls,then she repeated the oreder and said bacon and egg ,i told her no bacon and sausage,i payed for my bacon and sausage samwich . When i received my order of break fast ,they brought out a bacon and sauage on a bread roll ,i then asked the team leader who seved me to change it she replied that was what i ordered i then told her i did not that i specifically ordered it on bread her name was lisa,she then changed it but it was not a fresh break fast samwich the original bacon and sausage had been transfered from the bread roll to the bread,i know this because a work in the food industry,the reason i did not complain again was the simple fact i needed to have somthing to eat the reason being i am a diabetic in the future i will make sure that yoiur team leader does not serve me again i will wait for an other member of staff to serve me.

Popped in briefly in between two jobs and had a lunch while there and I have to be honest, they serve some of the best pub food around for miles.

Went in on Saturday night with friends. Been going in the Tiger for years on and off and it never changes. Always a great atmosphere and the food is pretty good. Don't know why I haven't reviewed them sooner

Went to the royal tiger in wednesfield with friends .Very friendley staff food reasonably priced we opted for a small breakfast which comprised of sausage bacon beans 2 hash browns and fresh tomato with a slice of toast with a pat of butter which in my opinion was just right .The table service was excellent with not having to wait to long for food to be bought to us and after the clearing of the plates .will be going again

As always there's space to sit and eat in comfort the food is hot well presented and quickly served. The only downside is having to pass all the smokers congregating at the entrance.

As a place to visit for breakfast from 8am this is one of the best places around Wolverhampton, food is always hot and always cooked fresh , plates are also hot unlike a lot of other places which keeps the food warmer longer .. only gripe we have is the people smoking outside the main doors going in as they take no notice of the sign at the doors asking not to smoke by them .. and really annoys me as we don't and never have smoked and having to walk through a cloud of vapor or smoke to get breakfast or lunch or just a drink .. there is also an area at the rear of the pub for them to stand but don't.. please sort it out .. I don't want my clothes or lungs infected with this horrid stuff .. I already have cancer and this isn't helping .. I don't see why I should have to keep away because the staff don't care about them although the signs are there ......

cheap food and drinks as you expect for wetherspoons,staff are lovely and friendly. But the place its self is very old and dark needs a new brighter decor. but it is clean thats the main thing.why are there toilets always upstairs,both our local ones are upstairs im only in my 50s and have a few pains i can not manage stairs which is very frustrating....other than that nice place.

I call here if i see someone while shopping in the village were sometimes i just have coffee other times a pint.I have not eaten in here for about 4 years(I had a very bad meal were money was refunded) And i will never eat here again

Another typical spoons, decently priced food and drink served by friendly over worked and under paid staff. The place is in need of updating but is clean enough.

I came here for a few drinks on a late Saturday afternoon, this pub has a nice local feel although the interior is different from other pubs in the Wetherspoons chain. Drinks were of a good quality and price was good but this not a must visit.

this was the second time I have been, first time they had run out of what we wonted, so we thought we would try it again, after spending over 20 pound on drinks thought we would try the burger has their was pictures of them all over, yet again waiter come over and said sorry we have no burgers, it was only 3pm,allso the seats were drab and worn with holes in them, floors were sticky, last time I go their, empty tables with food and glasses on them.

Lovely food, never had a problem with it, unlike some wetherspoons we have been to. Staff always friendly always check if you need anything else or if everything is ok

Pop in here quite often for breakfast. Mostly it is good, occasionally not so and sometimes brilliant. Went in today for the first time on a Monday and was impressed with the brekkie. It was very quick to arrive and cooked superbly. I left suitably stuffed.

decent ale and fodder at this typical wetherspoons.. it's relatively clean.. decent staff.. the toilets are up 2 flights of stairs(info for those who struggle with stairs).. the pubs problem is the regular customers (predominantly smokers) who populate the entrance area and the pavement outside.. they are an eyesore and a blight.. to be fair the pub has a smokers area at the rear nxt to the canal.. it's woefully underused...if anyone thinks I'm being snotty.. i suggest they see for themselves

This evening was our first visit and a very good one.A board on the bar informed us that the boxed ciders in the fridge were going for 1.99 per pint, which was the most positive approach I have seen to clearing the leftover cider from the annual cider festival. We enjoyed a few good pints of Texan Hard.According to the receipt, the chap who took our food order was Dave; he was very efficient and accommodating. Nearby, two other members of staff made sure we were being served.Our fish & chips were very satisfying, while the lasagne was both good and artfully presented. The deputy manager who brought our food had a willing manner and charmingly placed each package of cutlery in our hands.Everything about this visit was good, including a gentle, convivial atmosphere. We look forward to our next opportunity to come again.

Reasonable prices as spoons always are! Food excellently cooked with high availability of menu and special offers Staff that can't do too much for you (especially Mandy & evening lady with wavy hair)! If you want to drink at the bar you can be at the front as you enter door but if you want to dine with family towards back also has a smoking area at the back!

Every time we visit the service and staff are brilliant, food is always top notch Always good value for money and friendly atmosphere too.

I have been to this pub for meals and drinks several times and it has always been a pleasure to visit. Good service, good food, fantastic choice of drinks and when the sun shines the rear garden is a great place to relax. Had a great meal today Friday being fish & chips traditionally so that is what we ordered, fast service, a great pint, service with a smile. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food piping hot. Well done.

Valentines day breakfast . Today was a great day not only did I have the love in my life with me we also had a great breakfast. . Been before but today was the best so far as to hot meals .. the partner had The Traditional and I had the Eggs Benedict. . And can truly say it was one of the best I've had here .. nice n hot and full of flavour. . The only criticism we have is the partner would of liked to have a grilled sausage not deep fried ..but saying that it was as expected. . Hot and tasty. . Well done chef .. 4* ..

Have visited this Weatherspoon many times before as we have many other Weatherspoons in the local area . Tend to meet my brother and his partner for breakfast on a Saturday fairly regularly as they use Weatherspoons a lot . It would not always be our first choice preferring to go to a regular cafe for breakfast which tend to give better value for money . The food can be hit and miss . This recent visit the service at the bar was very slow and unorganised . One of our main gripes are customers who smoke right in the doorways meaning smoke can infiltrate the pub where you are eating , although there are signs asking them not to , not sure if the reason is due to the fact they cannot read and therefore understand what is on the sign or just don't care about anyone but theirselves !! It is noticable that a large portion of the client group who use Weatherspoons do so because it is budget priced and therefore tend to belong to the lower social classes of society . There is no car park as it is in the main part of Wednesfield town .

Both steaks we ordered were cooked to perfection and tasted beautiful full of flavour and really tender.i payed £15 for a steak the other day and this place won hands down for £6.15 with a pint included.cant beat it!

Called in while dropping the partner at work , had Eggs Benedict.. "wow" I'm amassed. I actually got what I asked for .. lovely soft muffin, shame the eggs were a little over cooked but on the whole it tasted as good as it looked .. cheese sauce was full of flavour, ham was tender and warm .. and rocket was full of flavour, friendly staff . A warm welcome , and not over priced .. shame the pub is a drinking hole for the unemployed. . A little noisey but no trouble .. will have breakfast here again ..

Love coming to this pub, great food (apart from the one or two ok steaks - it can happen anywhere) and great value drinks. Great when the beer festivals are on, currently enjoying the Red Sails ale, should definitely make this a regular pint!My big iffy though at the moment which triggered me to leave some feedback is although free wifi is advertised, as I'm in Wolverhampton away from home, I'm attempting to make use of the spoons as an office... free wifi, unlimited refill coffees and then just find a corner to tuck myself in and crack on with some work. Problem starts here, wifi sucks! I get better speeds tethering to my mobile whilst doing a million things at once, I've been here an hour so far an managed to achieve the bare minimum. Speed is chucking out at 0.04mbs which is purely painful, although it does seem to regularly speed up just as much as it slows down.As a major chain, the wifi should be on point, especially in this day and age. If the wifi was working solidly I would likely be in most mornings I need to work which would most probably mean profit via drinks and food.

Pub food that is average at best Service was quick and staff friendly but I can't see me rushing back.

I do eat here regularly & I do rate it usually, however, over the past few weeks something's going wrong. One week I went for a Sunday roast and was told 40 minute wait as they had ran out of something, barman blamed kitchen staff for stock taking incorrectly, today I was told NO VEG to go with my Sunday lunch??? I mean NO VEG? For a Sunday lunch? There is a heron food over the road? What stopped them going over there for supplies? I was told this was a force wide problem with Wetherspoons. Not sure this is entirely true. Too many lies and lack of detail. Disappointed how they could let this happen. It needs sorting before I will revisit!

Went in on bank holiday Monday with my family relatives as I knew they were having a family fun day in the village and i have to say the meal was Amazing! When I got served, the bar staff were lovely and attentive. Giving recommendations to what food I could order and asking if I wanted any extras to the meal that I wasn't aware that I could get and the meal itself was well cooked and had a good portion size. My entire family of 11 were really happy with the food and the atmosphere!

Been to several weatherspoons this is my favourite so far. The staff are friendly and efficient at the bar and also the people that serve the food. The food is always nice, piping hot and presentable. I have tried several different meals here in the past five months they have all be really nice. Overall would highly recommend The Royal Tiger.

Very relaxing place with excellent food.I ordered from the curry club menu great value Nice meal. Friendly atmosphere from staff and customers worth a visit. I will make The Royal Tiger will be my regular in the future.

Breakfasts are spot on and certainly fill you up ready to go for the day at under £4 including a refillable drink. No argument there! Sunday lunch was good value & walked away stuffed & content!Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff! Can't go wrong :)

Visited The Royal Tiger on my way back from Wolverhampton on business and boy am I glad I did. Greeted with a smile, served quickly, and I was chuffed to see they sold Boddingtons. Keep it up guys!

After visting many weatherspoon pubs and enjoying service i was disapointed today when i ordered food with salad it came with chips and the staff refused to change due to stock levels !?! Its such a small thing i cant understand why? Will not be returning

Stopped by the Tiger for a few drinks after a meal on Friday night. Typical Wetherspoons, not that busy considering it was a Friday and ideal for a quiet drink. The range of drinks on offer was superb, several ales on tap, a craft beer list and superb range of spirits. Had a very nice Brewdog beer that is exclusive to Wetherspoons along with a couple of craft beers. There is a lovely seating area outside when the weather is a bit warmer as well.

Rather than cook for 11people it was decided to visit the Royal Tiger. A wonderful idea and a superb meal enjoyed by everyone. One small omission was quickly put right with a smile and an apology. Will go back again. Certainly good value.

Nice pub in the centre of Wednesfield, has a lovely breakfast and lunch menu, wouldn't recommend going here weekends and on sports nights if you want a quiet dunk as during these times the drunks can get a bit much blocking the entrance

Having started a New Year health kick, I was a little concerned as to what I would eat at a small Wetherspoons breakfast family get together. Having had too many fry ups in recent weeks, I chose Eggs Benedict. I've always liked eggs, but have never tried this dish before. Both the eggs and ham were tasty and complimented well by the sauce.The service was a little slow for a Friday morning, and two of the groups breakfasts were bought out a few minutes before ours. There was no Eggs Royale, which my Girlfriend wanted, but she was happy enough with the same as myself.We think perhaps the pub may have been low on both food stock and staff as it was just after the Christmas and New Year period.

Had the above with mash potatoes and mushy peas with a jug of gravy, it was perfect, great price for good food. What more could you ask for.

Excellent value. I tried the lamb jalfrezi - piping hot and accompanied by popadoms - excuse spelling, nan bread and rice. The Salopian , real ale, was absolute nectar. A delicious curry and an outstanding pint. Must return soon ... I have been commuting to Wednesfiled by car but shall try public transport sometime in the near future in order to fully appreciate what the Royal Tiger has to offer. More power to your arm. Professional and welcoming , well trained staff - not always the case in Wetherspoons emporia ...

We used this pub twice on a visit. The Ist time the chef came out from the kitchen to apologise for having run out of fish. 5pm on a Saturday fair enough. Next morning came in for breakfast. Everything including the tomato was cooked to perfection. Normally the chefs never seem to cook the tomato enough to soften it up. The staff seemed very efficient and the used tables were cleaned up very quickly.Thanks to all.

My wife and I regularly have breakfasts at weatherspoons pubs around the country and have never been disappointed but I must say that the Royal Tiger really stands out as excellent not to mention the cheapest we have had my wife had the standard breakfast and myself the large both with bottomless coffee which came to just over £8 unbelievable value for money the place has a really nice atmosphere and the lady that served us was really friendly telling us she had been working there 15 years and about the history of weatherspoons up and down the country

No complaints about this Wetherspoons! Have had quite a few meals here and the food has always been nice and the staff friendly!

after panning the avion wetherspoons in aldridge i am quite surprised at praising another wetherspoons pub to be honest? but credit where it is due, the staff where excellent, warm friendly and the manager was actually risking his life to do a parachute jump for cancer charity and we gave accordingly to his cause bless him, the food was fantastic value, i had a 14 oz aberdeen angus steak with baked spud and salad and a pint of abbots ale for £8? what a bargain, you usually get the meal with a pint deal but get to choose between poor beer choices but not here,there were 5 of us and we all had a meal and we got 3 free drinks and with the extra orders of beans and bread and butter we ordered 2 and got 8 slices, we paid £36????? i must admit we live in brownhills and the royal tiger is about 8 miles away from us but i would not hesitate to go there instead of the one 2 miles away from us, how come they are the same pub chain but are so different?

Very good Wetherspoons fare. Service with a smile and an excellent Beer Garden beside the canal and all very good value for money

Thursday night is curry night at the The Royal Tiger a Weatherspoons pub located in Wednesfield High Street. For just £5.79 you get a varietyof curry from mild to very hot, basmati rice, a naan bread, two poppadums and a small serving of mango chutney. If that wasn't enough you also get a drink your choice of beer Wine pop etc. it's a real bargain and you may think that it wouldn't be that good but you would be wrong, it's excellent value for money and taste. I can only say give it a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Having never eaten in a "weatherspoons chain" but finding ourselves with little option, we went for it and were glad we did! Yes its a chain, its a standardised menu, but it was surprisingly very well executed. Our meals arrived within 20 minutes despite them being very busy, and the food was of extremely good quality especially considering the prices! A salad and burger, not the greasy pub grub we expected, but a quality product, well presented and delivered by efficient friendly staff, at very very good prices - what more could you want!We would re-visit and recommend (and in fact have recommended) this one, and will no longer avoid them in future, but this one has set a very high standard so hopefully its the same across the chain. Even chains rely on their managers, and this one clearly has good ones in place, who obviously run an efficient, well trained team.

Like a lot of Wetherspoons, the Tiger has it's fair share of characters, last time we were there a man was asleep over his pint on the next table! But generally there is a decent crowd in there, drinks are cheap as always, food is surprisingly good and the outside seating area is nice on a warm evening.

I took my Mother out to the Tiger for a belated Mothers Day treat, as I had been away. We went on a Wednesday evening around 5pm. We had Natchos to start as a sharer, and the portion was massive for around £4. Very tasty! I plumped for the Bbq chicken melt and my Mother the gourmet burger with bacon & stilton and chips. Both were very nice. We had a drink each with the meal, a pint of Carling and a glass of Rose.The sharing starter and the two main courses with drinks came to around £18. Wetherspoons is what it is, if you don't want fancy, and just want decent cooked food at an affordable price you can't go wrong. The server and the guy who bought the food over, were really friendly. We received excellent service and really enjoyed our meal.

It is what it says on the tin. Cheap drinks, decent atmosphere and half decent food. What else do you need for a couple of hours out without wanting to break the bank.

Love Wetherspoons, nice food, quick service, very well priced! Probably one of the best pubs in Wednesfield, can't recommend more!!
