Terrible service. Ruined our night. Took all our money for the drinks after not letting one of our friends who forgot her Id to stay with us when they could have told us they couldn't serve all of us.

Great for a pint before the football.

It’s not my favourite place to drink in but at £3.30 for a pint of Guinness, it’s what you pay for… My Guinness was in a plastic due to the dishwasher being broken. Never had this at a pub before lol Service can also be especially slow but it’s a cheap boozer so make of that what you will They’ve since adopted a formerly stray cat which gives this place more charm though

Nice pub service was quick as I was dying of thirst with hot day appreciate quick service, beer was good and very cheap.

Just been refitted and looks sleek and modern. Lots of TV screens to watch sport even one in the back yard outside seating area. Good selection of beers and friendly atmosphere

Refurbished recently. Clean toilets 2 draft real ales and plenty of other tap beers. Prosecco only sold by the bottle however good price .

Love this pub. Been a constant in my life in Stockport since 76 when I moved from moss side. M14 to North reddish. Favourite haunt along a6. Hazel Grove. Showing my age now shivering in stilletos n backless dresses. Lol. #nevertooold x

it was good there was a pool night on whith excellent food

while at a local concert we went in to the Royal oak as it's the first time we have been in this area, we got in early ahead of the expected crowds and found a friendly place to spend an hour or so, English flags up was nice to see and they had several decent offers on, 2 pints later we left but would go back again

Dennis doing OK as a new landlord in the oak he has had pubs before.Prices are OK and is busy mainly at weekends music is good DJ plays a good mixture to suit everyone can't fault it worth a visit

Good choice of beers, sadly I called just as two of the more popular brands of lager ran out and the regulars were upset because the pub was full of people who were going to a concert across road and were drinking the pub dry!!

I went here yesterday with a couple of friends.

Decent pub with live football, no regular real ales but usually one available, although a different one each week.

Great little pub, super friendly staff and clientèle. I played an acoustic set there and absolutely loved it!

Not enough seats to sit down the pool table takes up all the seating area that used to have tables in.the atmosphere is virtually zero

They have changed the pub from a pool/darts etc into a full blown eatery

Was in last night, Saturday. 1 man working on the bar took him 10 minutes to serve me. The best thing is " The D. J. he plays some great tunes!!

Friendly pub with decent prices. Only been twice but both times the staff were very nice.

I've only been in here for a pre-match pint. Usually there is two ales, sometimes only one, quality is ok.

Called in one day when I was in need on a cup of tea, they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and the tea was the best I've had anywhere. I stayed for a while and relaxed and they couldn't do enough to help.

Friendly pub, reasonable prices and good food and drink.
