Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was brilliant. My wife and I had been on holiday in the area for a week and this was the best food and service we experienced the entire time. My wife had a jacket potato with coleslaw, I had a chilli chicken flat bread, and we shared some fries. The potato was excellent, crispy skin, fluffy inside. My flat bread was delicious. The salad garnish was brilliant. Fresh and really tasty. All of it was very good value. Eventhough we only ordered light bites, the quality was exceptional. All the staff were really friendly. We will definitely return as soon as we are back in the area. We didn't not stay in any of their rooms but have had to give it 5stars so that it doesn't bring the score down on what was a perfect dining experience.

Attended for evening meal, very polite young staff, nice atmosphere. We were fortunate enough to go when they had an extended menu of carribean food by 'blue magic' - the nicest steak and chips I have ever had!. Would highly recommend a visit!

I am curious about your shipping and payment methods. Do you provide international shipping? If so, what are the costs and delivery times? Additionally, do you accept PayPal? Thank you.

This is our second visit to the Royal Forester. Both visits were for their wonderful Sunday lunch and luckily for us they were able to accommodate us and our dog without pre-booking on both visits, even though they were busy. It was a bit of a random find as we were spending the day at the nearby Wyre Valley Forest park, just outside Bewdley. The pub is a nice size with pool / darts gaming area, TV screens dotted around for sporting occasions such as the Olympics, which was on yesterday. This place is mega dog friendly place where you can eat in the bar / sports room and outdoor eating areas with your well behaved pets. There is also a cosier restaurant area for anyone without a pooch. The staff are a great team and so friendly and welcoming. Bar has a nice selection of local beers and ciders. Their Sunday lunch menu has a good selection covering all bases (Beef, Pork, Rotisserie Chicken, Lamb) with the Beef, Pork and Chicken coming as a carve your own sharing platter. We ordered the pork and 1/2 chicken and as with our first visit, the food was just amazing. It is so easy to mess up a roast dinner but this place just gets it right. Meats were cooked to perfection (pink if you went for the lamb/beef as others around us enjoyed), they come with beautifully crisp roast potatoes, roast parsnips and carrots and plenty of gravy. You can add a Yorkshire pudding where your roast doesn’t normally come with one. The accompanying mixed green veg were proper green/fresh and tasted as good as they looked. We also had some sweet red cabbage that balanced the flavours nicely. We had to order the cauliflower cheese side as it looked so good on other tables and we are glad we did as it was proper tasty with a lovely crispy top (as it should be !!). This is how a Sunday lunch should be cooked with every element given equal attention to detail. In addition to this, the prices are just about right as the portion sizes are on the large size. If you are in the area, you have to give this place a try !!!

Pub itself was quite appealing in appearance and no issues with the decor/layout. Both of us ordered the Beer Battered Cod Extremely disappointed with the minute portion size and the (lack of) quality, especially the ‘chips’ which where skin on chips which was not stated. The 75mm piece of fish was swimming in grease and the hand made chips were cooked in oil that was well best it’s used by date. Extra portion of Halloumi was okay but wouldn’t recommend the cod and ‘chips’

Loved watching the football at the foresters. Great country pub with a proper local atmosphere. Food is always great here. They have recently opened up a pizza bar with the pizzas being cooked on a wood fire oven. Taste fab

Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely food. I was served by Josh ‘The Frosh’ Francis I believe, well that’s how he introduced himself to me. Seemed to be the man of the hour as he gracefully glided around the gaff, charming the old ladies, cracking jokes with the geezers, and flirting with the fitties. The roast was sublime, proper good roast tatties and a gravy so good I’d put it in a pint glass and drink it. Cannot recommend enough, thank you and a special thanks to ‘The Frosh’ - I’ll certainly be back again

Well well well, where to start? I came in for a roast at this modest, yet exceedingly charming, establishment only the other day and I’m almost lost for words. It was, I dare say, quite simply the most remarkable culinary experience I have ever had. I will not hesitate for a second to recommend this to all my chums. This experience was topped off by the subtly sophisticated service of a young gentleman by the name of Josh. He answered our every beck and call without hesitation and will surely stick in our memory as the true image of what a gentleman should be. All in all, the whole visit was spectacular.

So looking forward to battered cod & chips. What I was served was the smallest piece of cod I've seen. The price I was charged. Expected way better. Spoilt the night.

We came here on the 23rd April for a girls night out and was met with a very warm welcome. We all ordered the half chicken with various sides only to be told there were no half chickens left . The lady that served us, along with the chef suggested full chickens which they would halve for us. The chicken came out on a large platter and we all tucked in. It was beautifully cooked and there was plenty for all and we had a lovely evening.

Fabulous Sunday lunch - we chose the sharing version which was fun and allowed each to take the appropriate portion and what they liked best. Best roast I've had out I reckon! Fresh, qualiry, well cooked meat and veg and a lovely team hosting. Will definitely be back. Perfect after a stroll in Wyre Forest.

When we arrived we were shown to our table and asked if we wanted tea, coffee and prosecco to which we said yes. These were served and then the afternoon tea was brought over. We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the sandwiches and cakes. We were served between 2 of us 9 small finger sandwiches, 2 scones and 4 small sponge cakes. The scones were rock hard and the cakes stale so we left them. I would hardly call this deluxe. We expected far more and better quality for this price. This wasn't even good enough to be a standard afternoon tea. £44 when it cost probably far less than £10 to produce, what made it worse was that on leaving we were asked to pay £15 for the prosecco. We had presumed that this was the "deluxe" aspect of the afternoon tea, but clearly not. We were confused as we hadn't asked for the prosecco, we were offered it. Has they said "would you like anything else to drink" we would then have assumed that we would have to pay extra for it, but this wasn't the case. I have emailed the Royal Forester twice but they have failed to respond.

I was here for the Saturday to the Tuesday over the bank holiday with my girlfriend. We tried an evening meal, the Sunday dinner and breakfast/lunch on the Tuesday and found the food to be of an excellent standard, very good value and looked and tasted amazing. Their ala cart menu is a steal at £18.50 for two courses and had some amazing options. Soft shell crab starter (which I had three days in a row) or the Pork Loin with green peppercorn cream. Sunday dinner was epic. The bacon rolls were soft inside, crunchy outside. Thick cut juicy bacon. Free coffee. We loved it so much we took part in the quiz. Then we stayed an extra night and were even given a room at a discounted rate besides a free bacon roll for my hungover girlfriend 😉. Real classy wee pub doing everything right. Honestly a real find of a place and I realize the irony of such a good review is that more people will go so I'll struggle to get there again soon but I absolutely will if and when I can. Staff were lovely too, knowledgeable about their wine, good at the quiz, helpful with directions and worth every penny.

There was a towel placed on the floor under the curtain to absorb water from the leaking radiator . Unfortunately water had soaked into the carpet making it extremely uncomfortable when walking barefoot. The bed was comfortable - no complaints. The bathroom was clean and had all necessary items. However, the standard of workmanship with regard to decor was disappointing - paint spots on the floor - smudged woodwork and uneven tiling. The tea making facility was adequate- no complaints. Obviously the room is located next to a main road making it a little noisy. When I checked out I informed the person on the desk about the radiator. Unfortunately there was no response. Very disappointing!

First time at this particular branch. Very welcoming, quick, and efficient service. Warm welcome by the staff. Used my birthday treat reward and was wished happy birthday by the barista. Very clean & tidy, with no used crockery or glasses cluttering up the tables. There is plenty of seating available inside and out and no wobbly tables for once. Highly recommend this branch, and there are lessons other branches could learn from this superbly run Costa. Well done, all involved. Will definitely be coming back.

I didn’t come in with the intention of writing a review but I felt compelled too as the experience was brilliant. I had the pipping hot fish pie with really fresh green beans and peas - it was delicious. The managers were super friendly and the whole experience really good

Some young girl early teens I'd say, sat outside the cafe, gave my mum a good horrible eyeing up and down and I mean a very good looking up and down just staring at her for no reason as we were crossing the road, I stared back at her then she looked at me, I should have poured her drink all over her or mine I was carrying tbh. How dare she. If that's how you bring up your children I put shame on you also.
