The Rollin Pig BBQ &street Food in Renfrewshire

Ahh a few things with this place. Firstly the food is actually good, they’re not very good at listening to instructions though, asked for no sauce and genuinely think they gave me double what they normally would. Not just once but also the second time ordered and that was sadly the last time for me. Secondly, they pick and choose when they rely on the community. They state they have outside catering and that before Covid they were a catering company bla bla bla but when they aren’t “outside catering” they decide it’s time to open to the community. You’re either a catering company or you’re a takeaway and if you wanna be both… hire more and be both. Don’t pick and choose when you want the communities business and I’m not the only person who picked up on this. Just see their Facebook page. Again apart from that, the food is good, it is fresh, staff can be blunt but most times they’re okay. The clearly can’t accept constructive criticism from they’re replies to negative feedback on trip advisor and they will think this is negative by actually I’ve given them 3/5 because the food is nice and fresh. That’s all.

The food was fab. Buffalo chicken wings were delicious. Freshly cooked and well worth the short drive. Definitely be a return journey for us.

1st random visit since all restaurants were over booked, i gotta say im very impressed with service and food served, everything fresh and that cheese sticks amazing

Rollin pig is a weekend treat must have in our house! We love everything you make and try something new and always go back to old favourites.

Enjoyed the chicken tenders and wings - very good. The ‘smash’ burger was slightly disappointing - patty too thick with no colour/ caramelisation/ flavour. Two thinner patties would be more authentic. But overall would recommend

Brilliant and high quality comfort food. Reasonably priced. We were lucky and had a glorious sunny day and sat in the interesting outside section. Needs way more outdoor seating, but it is a takeaway.

The quality of the food is exceptional. My son is notoriously fussy and it is his favourite place by far, so that speaks volumes. They are very busy all the time, so the food can take a while, but it's worth the wait. Also reassuring that it is all cooked fresh. I always collect rather than opt for delivery and the staff are extremely helpful. There is a very happy atmosphere in the shop, meaning it is not a chore to travel there.

Can’t rate the quality of food highly enough, best take away food in the area. Gem of a place! wish we’d known about sooner, it’s a monthly treat for us now (wish it could be weekly!)

This place is top class!! took a trip down today for my first experience and the food was brilliant and so was the service! The girl forgot our cans of juice in our order and she apologised and delivered them to my door. Would definitely recommend this place.

The food was amazing I got the mozzarella pizza and it tasted as epic as it looked 😋, would buy again. Only thing I'm not keen on is the different sites you have to use to order so if you want pizza you only get it to order that and a few select meals ,then yo have to come out of that page and open another to pick other things ibwas going to get a delivery but it meant it was charging me for 2x delivery. That's the only issue I had food was very tasty

Amazing food just had the Brisket Sunday roast and it was absolutely delicious. Best Sunday roast I’ve had in a long time. Totally worth the wee extra wait on delivery amazing!

Premium restaurant quality food delivered to your door. I have been a regular customer for a few months now and I receive a 5* service every single time. Everything down to the fries is of higher class than any other takeaways I've ever had. The only downside is sometimes delivery times are slow however all food is made to order. I promise, if you ever do wait a little longer, it will be 100% worth it.

Honestly some of the best food I have had in Scotland never mind Johnstone. Freshly made, quality ingredients and great portions. Couldn't recommend the Rolling Pig highly enough.

Honestly incredible! The mozzarella sticks are genuinely not sticks they are actually so big, and so tasty!!! Also got the salt and chilli chicken loaded fries, cannot shout any louder of how amazing this dinner was!

Very friendly staff and the food is out of this world, well worth what you pay for. No other takeaway has even come close to this, will definitely order from here again.

Having heard a lot of good things about the Rollin Pig we thought we would give it a try and boy we weren’t disappointed! Okay we waited a little over the hour for delivery but it was worth the wait. We had a portion of Shawarma loaded fries and Mac n Cheese loaded fries, food was delivered piping hot and the portions were huge! Both were equally as delicious, very impressed. We also had the kids chicken strips and fries and again this too was delicious. We will definitely order again, well done and keep up the good work 🤩🤩

Food was absolutely divine to the point myself and my sister were both stuffed but were still stuffing the food in as we couldn't get enough 🤣 Easy to order through website, delivery time wasn't too long either especially for a busy Friday night.

Honestly the food here was gorgeous highly recommend the burgers they were so juicy and well worth every penny

Best takeaway I've in a long time. The chicken Shwarma and chilli hot hog were out of this world! Bags of flavour Nd generous portions! This is not your average place, this is something special! Friendly staff too! Well done guys.

Had lunch here a couple of months back and food was great and service was on point too.

Place isn’t as great as made out to be, overpriced for small portions and the mac and cheese tasted bland. Old woman on the counter is really rude and stuck up when I tried to have a conversation with her and i asked for my sauce to be separate and she rudely told me I should speak up next time. Not the friendly face you would expect to find when approaching a counter to order food. Will not be back again and will not recommend to anyone. The face of your buisness should be approachable not someone who looks like they hate there job and are to good to speak to you.

Food wasn’t anything special brisket burger was alright but the bun was as soggy as wet socks, got my order wrong and somehow I was to blame for it, the old woman who deals with the customers is extremely stuck up working from a shop in Johnstone. The business can’t be going to well if she can’t agree to a discount on the next order even though the chef agreed. I called to say the order was wrong and she passed me on not wanting to face the facts that they made a mess of the order blaming the issue on a ‘system glitch’ after saying that the loaded Mac and bacon fries were a promo months ago this is after she called me back once she found out I was getting a discount on the next order. Avoid at all costs won’t be back don’t even care about the £26 I spent but jheez what a terrible dinner and business. :)

Came here on Sunday teatime 23rd January. Ordered burgers with toppings of macaroni and brisket. Loaded chips with pork. Waited for everything and cooked freshly. Very nice. Thanks. Lady who served me nice personality.

Another great take away from the rolling pig my new favourite place to eat. I had the hotdog with brisket (best thing on the menu) which was amazing, wife had salt and chilli chicken loaded fries and she loved it. We can be very fussy eaters and will travel far and wide for a good scran definitely found the best place around. Thanks again rolling pig

I have been coming here regularly since it opened and have never had a bad experience food has always been fresh, prepared to order and tastes incredible. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do more to help meet your needs. Favourite has to be the salt and chilli chicken loaded fries always cooked to absolute perfection 🥰 💞

Tried food again after 4 months but again not great and lm not fussy love a lot of things l eat. Reply from my 1st review was they don't hot hold food. My order 1st time around was lifted from the floor with other peoples orders there as well that's not cooking to order and being fresh. Shame looks a lovely place from outside.

Had food from here before and it was all amazing. Seen that they were doing toasties and had to try.Spoiled for choice but went for the Scottish which was smoked bacon,cheese,haggis,caramelised onion and peppercorn sauce. It was absolutely immense and packed full. Defo one to try and also cures hangovers. 🤪

Great marketing, but it appears to be hype, by this experience. Enjoy southern fried chicken from bucks bar in glasgow so gave this a shot. Salad in burger was mushy and not a lot, mostly gherkin. Pepper sauce was visible, actually no taste, chicken itself nowhere near as good as bucks bar and southern fried coating was surprisingly tasteless and needed lashings of salt when i got home The fillet itself was big but thin, dressing made up the thickness. The southern fried dressing was over cooked ..... burnt and dark. Won’t get that again (6/10). It’s overpriced at £8 (one burger in a box, no sides or fries) price pitch should be circa £5.50 . If I had to choose, I choose KFC which is unfortunate and disappointing. Son was happy with his salt and chilli chicken fillets and fries and gave it (9/10). Wife had nachos, not special at all, she could have made it at home but was happy with the guacamole - was homemade and not some mush out a jar or tube, but overall she gave it 5/10. Maybe be careful what you order. I might be back for my sons sake. It’s a local business so please readers give this place a shot, maybe I had an off night with them. I want to see local businesses like this successful, so give it a shot and let them hopefully show you what they can do on a good night.

Tried the rollinpig for the first time tonight and was blown away how good the food was my wife agreed its now our favourite takeaway in johnstone

Quirky, fun surroundings. Prompt, friendly and knowledgable service. And most importantly, top class food! My portion of chilli beef nachos was most generous - more than I intended eating. But I scoffed the lot it was so good. No dinner required tonight, just a good walk!

So saw this advertised on fb, had the cheese burger with black pudding katsu curry sauce,husband had cheese burger with bbq sauce,loaded fries with pulled pork,took a while but as its made from scratch,understandable, was absolutely worth the wait. Amazing 👏

We heard about this place in a flyer. They provided us with food for 10 people attending my mums 90 th. Very friendly service, good price and…the food was delicious!We had buffalo wings , pulled pork and chicken sharmwa- went down a treat with everybody and enough left over to enjoy the next day. Hope word gets around and everyone supports this great local business!

Absolutely blown away by the food from the Rollin Pig - we ordered a selection from across the menu and everything was excellent but I have to say the brisket was out of this world!!! I am gluten free and they were easily able to adapt things for me-we'll definitely be ordering again!!!

So I'm sat here, absolutely burst from the black pudding smash burger and katsu curry loaded fries I ordered. Pondering my life choices a bit, but not my order. Good chat from the staff too. Will be back for sure.

did order and collect and we got Southern fried chicken in a roll and burger in roll with pulled pork. A portion of chips. Chips were really bad didn't taste fresh. Didn't feel any of the food was fresh. We will try again. Not worth money.

I only heard of Rollin pig after a friend asked me if I'd tried it, fast forward 24hrs an I've just ordered a hog roast bun, brisket bun an a half bucket of wings chatted to Chris as he took order an chef (apologise as cant remember name but we will call him Merlin as this young man is a wizard) informed me the brisket had just came out 👌🏻. Both buns are loaded with tender succulent meat and I mean loaded I had a tub of BBQ cola on side but it's the dogs dangles of sauce my wings (big fat juicy wings I have to add) I had in house mop but will be having in the cola next time.... oh an there will be a next time

Sorry there are no pics of the food, but it was so amazing it didn't last! I had the brisket with the cola BBQ sauce, it was phenomenal. My family had... The haggis burger, Mac & cheese loaded fries, nachos, nachos with pulled pork, chicken katsu strips. All amazing! Sides... The best tasting crispy fried, corn which my wee one loved and their homemade coleslaw. Honestly worth a trip!

Ordered for the first time last night! Hog roast roll BBQ sauce. Beef brisket roll with mop sauce and a burger with beef brisket! All very good except burger had no brisket on it when we got it home and opened it! Minor set back...

Tried on opening day . Brisket dry ,not enough sauce on either brisket or pork which enhanced the dryness
