Had a lovely meal and Janice, who served us was more than helpful. Also, the manageress put heating on for us as it was cold outside.

Made to feel welcome, there was a table booked for 11 people amd it was all set up when we arrived. Served quick with drinks and food order taken. Food arrived in a reasonable time considering large order. All the food was great, steaks cooked to perfection etc. Unfortunately the fish was a bit of a.let down this time. Batter was to thick and kinda sloppy. Fish itself was nice just the batter let it down.

Service-wise, Michael and Gemma were fantastic, super friendly and attentive. But I’ve noticed over my past 10 visits that there seems to be a bit of an imbalance among the staff. The younger team members are constantly on their feet, working hard, while some of the older staff tend to stand around chatting or looking a bit lost. It almost feels like the younger ones are left to pick up the slack. Staff members seem to ignore those who come in and turn back to speak to kitchen staff instead of doing their job to serve The spinach and cheese dish was good, and the BBQ wings? Easily one of the best things on the menu—flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. One staff member, Maria, stood out—but not in a good way. She came across as quite rude to the younger staff and didn’t seem very approachable, which wasn’t great to see in a team environment. She is somewhat kind to children but very huffy with adults. Overall, the food and service (from the right people) keep me coming back, but the staff dynamics are definitely noticeable, Ruth the side manager aswell does not seem to enjoy her job shouting at staff members from the back room which is disheartening to hear and see.

Been a while since we visited. Delighted by the new look of the interior. A much brighter and open aspect. We were served by Janice who to our surprise remembered us and greeted us like long lost souls. Janice is a star, friendly, supportive and helpful. The menu was a delight especially the lunch menu. Definitely will be back.

We stopped in as a last-minute place to eat. Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival, our server was a lovely lady who explained where everything is. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable.

Visited today for lunch and was greeted as usual by a friendly staff member who showed us to our seats. We was served by Michael who looked after us throughout and was quick and attentive. The food was ace as always Thanks again for a lovely lunch

UPDATE: Also went here for lunch recently and it was equally as good. Food and portions were great as well as the service. Ordered the full breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was delicious and absolutely massive. Definitely be ordering from here again 🍳

Food was nice. Our waiter Mags was lovely, she recommended the waffles and chicken to me which I absolutely loved!! Would be good if there was more homely options on the menu like steak pie.

This was a nice lunch on a miserable day. I recommend you get the app as it has excellent vouchers. We had the salad which was a little too busy and might benefit from a change from quantity to quality. We had the triple chicken combo which came with chips. It was a good sized portion and it was presented beautifully. The chicken wasn't over cooked and the little corn fritters were delicious. It's not fine dining but it was perfect for lunch. Probably one of the better ones in this genre

Nice place but the staff ruin it walking about with there faces tripping them we wouldn't have even known about the free salad bar until another customer told us asked the manager that was standing at the front desk were the toilet was and she was very abrupt with me and said OVER THERE could be a great place but they need to get a new manager in and train the staff !!! A smile and manners don't cost anything 😀

We are regulars at Harvester and the Hillington restaurant is by far our favourite, the food and the service is always outstanding. Tonight we were served by Brandon who did a fabulous job looking after us. Maria greeted us at the door and we had a chat with her later, always friendly and smiley. Thank you

I came in today with my 3 year old and all of the staff especially Michael were amazing. Michael was so goo with my little one especially when she started to get board. The nicest server I've ever met. Thank you so much

It was all great. Salad - great. Nachos - great. Dirty Burger - great. Sicilian lemon waffle - really great! Staff were absolutely fabulous. Lady was called Comfort and she made us feel right at home.

Great place! Gemma was such a sweetheart and was able to get us in 10 minutes before the kitchen closed when we were in need of food after a long day, and the food and drinks were delicious!! Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed the most beautiful Christmas Dinner at Harvester Hillington Starters , Mains and dessert were all superb , service was excellent and we were made to feel so welcome . Our lovely waitress Georgie looked after us so well as did Marie( think marie may be manager) Thanks to the chefs who cooked our meals to perfection also. The whole team did an amazing job. Popped in for lunch while shopping for a new bathroom and the restaurant looks amazing after a recent refurb. The lady who greeted us was very attentive and sat us near the salad bar as my mum had a walking stick and it would be easy for her to get too. Our waitress Gina was great. My mum choked on a pea and Gina was over with a glass of water faster than the pea reappeared. The food was lovely and the festive menu was excellent value for money. Will be back soon. Cannot thank the staff here enough. We arrived unplanned after a breakdown on the motorway and used as a safe place until we got a hire vehicle. On arrival Maria welcomed us in family of 5 and two dogs also very kind were the manager also and Gemma All wonderful, bringing water and treats for the dogs. The locals were so helpful too Food and drinks were fab What a lovely place

We went in a large group 16 of us, for breakfast with Santa and had a fantastic time. Gina and the other staff were so friendly and helpful and Santa and his grotto was perfect for all our kids to go in together and enjoy. The food was also great and very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back again xxx

We are regular visitors to the Harvester in Hillington. The changes to the menu recently are fantastic. The old menu was becoming a bit bland however the recent changes are great. We chose the Festive Menu this weekend, it was also very nice. Lovely friendly welcoming staff

Staff were very polite and very attentive to all our needs, it was nice to relax and enjoy our meals. The food was excellent and the large order was out in great time. The restaurant itself was clean modern and had very comfortable seating. We will definitely be returning to this establishment.

Fantastic experience this evening at Harvester, Hillington. Food absolutely superb and the service even better. We would like to thank Michael our server who was very attentive and always with a smile. Special praise for the Homeless Project also at Christmas which enabled us to donate to this very worthy charitable appeal. We will certainly return very soon.

Had my car in the garage across the road so went into wait, I was greeted warmly by Sheena and Mel, and both were very attentive while I waited along with Jack, who came in a but later, would highly recommend

We stopped in for breakfast and we were so happy with our experience. Restaurant is welcoming and fresh decor, we were warmly greeted by Sheena. Food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We had two ultimate breakfasts and a pancakes order. The sausages were particularly delicious. We will definitely be back.

Hubby & I had dinner here tonight. Best meal out in ages. I opted for the Christmas Dinner. Turkey was the best I've had; beautiful, melt in the mouth, moist, tasty. Thanks Chef! Stopped for breakfast on our way sightseeing. Sheena was an incredible waitress. She deserves a raise! Friendly, kind and funny! Very knowledgable about the area, giving good advice about local points of interest.

Excellent meal. Good variety. Waitresses were friendly and polite. The only downside was a 25%discount was on offer which you had to apply for online. After finally managing to complete the form on my phone I was advised that I had received a security password/number in my email. As I don't use my email on my phone this was a complete waste if time and I would add that the form took too long to complete!!

Served by Mags this morning for eggs benedict the service and food were excellent. This is my 3rd time here and the experience has always been great. Will be back again soon.

Meeting a friend for breakfast and this has become a new favourite. Nice calm atmosphere and delicious food with a reasonable price tag. Would highly recommend. My only negative and this is a personal preference, im not a massive fan of your harvester own brown sauce so it would be nice if you offered another alternative, to be fair i didnt ask so they might have one i just didnt think to ask at the time.

Had a booking as part of a group with over 40 people. The table service was quite slow and this was probably due to only 1 person serving with people being seated first were actually served last. When food came some of the items in particular scrambled eggs and eggs were not warm never mind hot. Due to the booking I believe one extra person should have been available to serve. This was second visit for breakfast and might be the last. The server was not the most customer friendly but changed attitude when paying bill and giving the review QR code card

Lovely food, fast service, food was on the table before we had both visited the salad bar. Our server Michael was great, really friendly and super helpful. Rotisserie half chicken had loads of meat on it. Chicken and bacon waffles were delicious!
