Great food best in the town tbh I wouldn't go anywhere else

They don't accept cards. Chicken balls very greasy. Sweet and sour sauce tasted very artificially. Chicken very rubbery. Somebody phoned to complain while I was there. Person who answered their call was abrasive and didn't take it seriously.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Ordered food for the chicken to come raw when questioned on it a member of staff decided to swear down the phone to my partner and deny us our money back , absolutely disgusting have heard nothing but bad complaints after telling people about this if you want poisoned this is your place to go, smelly and dirty if you ask me 🤢🤢🤢

Very good Chinese, the salt and chilli chicken is one of the best in Derry.

Upon arrival the lady who was taking our order was continuously in and out of the shop smoking, with out even washing her hands. No card accepted, so had to go get cash which wasn't ideal! Food was ready in less than 5mins, which I knew then already that the food couldn be good. Once we got home to eat our food , it was not great atall, everything from the chips to crispy chicken to the curry sauce was not nice all very bland and tasting very cheap. Would definitely not recommend, and Will not be returning to this establishment.

Great local takeaway. Ordered at the counter Sunday night and it was ready in 5 minutes. Friendly staff, the place smells nice and those were definitely the tastiest Chicken Balls i've ever had. This one is worth going out of your way for.

Shocking customer care. Ordered delivery last Saturday evening and found a long thick black hair wrapped around my chicken in the curry. Immediately rang and was told nothing she could do but she would note for manager on Tue. I was unavailable to ring until today, which is 6 days later and was told nothing she can do as the original staff did not note and I'm to ring her. I explained she offered zero help hence I was phoning her, but her response was I could be anyone looking free food! No apology for clearly bad hygiene, and I'm treated like some food criminal. AVOID.

Worst Chinese in the town with even worse customer service. Got given the entirely wrong order and when rang to complain about it the staff lied, would not listen to the complaint and hung up the phone. Would literally recommend anywhere else over this place. Go to the garage next door and get a sandwich, at least you'll get something you wanted

2nd time going in and ordering take out and 2nd time get home and order wrong. Won't be a 3rd

Had a chicken maryland yesterday, very poor. Chicken very dry, no fried banana, bacon or tomato, whole meal overloaded with salt, ordered small tub of curry sauce which wasn't in order. Definitely won't be back.

Very rude service on the phone. As I am coeliac i phoned them to check what is available for gluten free options . First of all the lady( if I can call her like that) said whaaat…as she did not hear me well. Then I repeated my question then she told me that sorry i have no time for this and put the phone down. It was noisy at the background but if she did not hear me well she could have told me politely . Im not disappointed im shocked that she can afford to talk with customers like that. Then i phoned Mandarin Palace and the girl on the phone explained what gluten free options they have and placed my order. I would not recommend The Rice Bowl in Drumahoe to anyone! Very rude service!

The service in the place now is a complete joke the 2 new girls working here have zero customer service skills and the dark haired woman (ment to be the manager)is unbelievably cheeky, used this Chinese for years and tonight is my last time as this is now the second 2 I have been verbally abused by the manager in the Drumahoe store, I have so much respect for the people working in the food industry but this woman should not be working in a customer service environment, Chung the owner needs to be looking at these reviews because im clearly not alone in my discuss at the service.

Phoned tonight for a collection. Told the girl on the phone what the order was. Girl didnt have a clue about any question on the dishes we asked about! She continuously shouted 'mammy' to the questions we asked. Took the order eventually. When we arrived to pick up the order i was stunned when i was told they only accepted cash and i couldnt pay with card. Not great when we are in a pandemic! Got home with the order only to find what was ordered, wasnt in the bag! First and last time i will be ordering from here! Do not recommend, at all. But next door is 4 star pizza and they should be called 5 star

Order was wrong! So went rang up we were told we would have to wait 2 hours for another to be sent out, so we collected it ourselves and then found a piece of metal in the chicken!!!!!

There chicken fried rice spring rolls are too die for. But i have to say for value for money they sing high on my hymm sheet. Would totally advise to book on the app to get the best of all worlds

We ordered food at 12:15, 45 minutes before they closed and they never delivered the order and we called them multiple times and they ignored the calls and or hung up

Never giving these guys my money again! Absolutely disgusted!! Staff show no knowledge of cross contamination. I'm ceoliac and ordered a GLUTEN FREE dish and was guaranteed I could be catered for. But I was given the standard dish with batter (and gluten). I've been poisoned by the rice bowl for the last time. This has happened on 3 different occasions. Each time I was guaranteed I could get a gluten free dish and each time I have been let down terribly. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Ordered mini chicken fillets for my daughter as usual but this this time I recover 2 small chicken pieces not the 4 to 5 usually served. When I phoned to complained I was told they are bigger .but then were smaller. Then the owner told the girl on the phone tell him I can't speak English. Service at its best. I'll not be back EVER

twice we have not had delivered our bottle of cola, paid for and this time our order for curry sauce was not delivered and gravy which was inedible was delivered instead-not happy

As a walked through the door the female member of staff turned to the male member of staff and said you serve him am not serving him which was ignorant but furthermore he asked around the corner which they think I wouldn't hear what did he do and she replied il tell you when he goes but to my knowledge a don't no what I did myself, also when we got food for some reason parts of the food was cold and some was warm so had to reheat it in the microwave worst experience I ever had in a take away or restaurant and il never return again nor will my family and we would spend a lot there on a weekly basis
