The Refreshment Room in Newham

Brilliant attentive staff enjoyed the atmosphere and its a noice area. It’s so neat to transportation brilliant

The two members of staff were surprised by my arrival as a customer! Not only that, they were stunned to hear that their colleague had booked an area for ten of us - imagine the horror, you run a bar and customers dare to show up?! I would add at this point that the bar was empty, so it was hardly a problem. Their reception was unwelcoming and they were so disdainful of their colleague who made a booking, they asked to see the email confirmation and even took a photo of it whilst referring to her in less than glowing terms; al of which was rather unprofessional. I was made to feel that I had to prove I was allowed in there and had to reassure them that we wouldn’t be any bother in their EMPTY BAR! After the initial ridiculousness, we did have an enjoyable evening. Good music, cool decor, and espresso martini on tap were all favourable.

The last time i visit this bar! The service was absolutely shocking. We waited at one point for nearly 1 hour for a drink and one of the bat tenders was so rude it was unbelievable. Considering this bar has been closed for so long during covid i would have thought the staff were pleased to be back open . We were in a table of six and the bar was obviously not packed so there was no reason for such poor service. Never again

Pasé por Refreshment Room para tomar unas copas y me encantó el ambiente aquí. ¡Un lugar realmente genial con algunas bebidas sabrosas! Quedé impresionado con las selecciones de ron que se ofrecen, algunas melodías geniales y el personal también fue súper amable, ¡definitivamente lo recomendaría!

He estado aquí varias veces y, por lo general, el servicio es bueno, sin embargo, en mi última visita quedé muy decepcionado con el servicio en el bar, el personal fue muy grosero, en particular el hombre que nos atendió nos miró varias veces, pero aun así decidió servir. otros que acababan de llegar al bar en una etapa, esperamos 30 minutos para que nos sirvieran, estaba muy ocupado, así que entiendo que la espera sería más larga, pero al menos serviría a las personas que habían estado esperando más tiempo, no sé si volveré . En un momento mi amigo me compró una bebida. Pedí un Jack Daniels y la coca que me dio fue brandy. El hombre argumentó conmigo que era Jack Daniel's. Conozco mis bebidas y no me gusta el brandy.
