Impromptu visit on way home from GolfClubs4Cash. Recommend everyone do the same! Food and service were great. Just let the waiters know what you like and they will serve an authentic dish they won’t disappoint. Will definitely call in again.

Went here on the 24/08/2024 for a birthday treat with family I rarely get to see. We were booked in for 6pm and seated virtually straight away. There were 6 of us. After about 10/15 minutes they brought poppadoms and dips, and our drinks. That was it. After half an hour we had to find someone to take our order. No staff visible. After we had been there an hour and 20 minutes, we had to, yet again find someone to ask where our food was, and to get more drinks. When it eventually came out 20 minutes later. 1 meal was missing, and my order was wrong. Took another 10 minutes for mine to come, the rest of the table had nearly finished. The food was delicious, but service was appalling. We did notice however, lots of takeouts being done. Seems like takeout is the priority. The busiest person was the kitchen busboy who was constantly fetching and carrying. They did comp us £10 off the bill for waiting 1hr 40 minutes for food. Which was still not acceptable. The place was almost full, and there was maybe 2 members of staff at front of house. Will not be going again. And would advice future restaurant goers, don't go if your hungry.

I visited The Radhuni with my Wife on Saturday for an early dinner, and we had a great dining experience as always. The food was excellent quality, the service was faultless - attentive, friendly and prompt, - and the decor and table layout is very attractive and relaxing. We have enjoyed coming here since we moved to the area 12 years ago, and we have never been disappointed. Standards are consistently excellent and there is nothing in Edinburgh city centre to match The Radhuni.

This is the most overrated and overpriced Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Supposedly received many awards for its great authentic cuisine but honestly, I don't think those who voted for this restaurant have ever tried Indian food in India. The food in Rhaduni is not authentic at all. On top of that you pay a fortune for sub par food

First time trying out for a takeaway. Food was on time and ready at reception when I arrived. Staff were welcoming and professional. Food was delicious, portions a decent size, would recommend. Will definitely be back.

First time here. Read about the place and happy to report, all is true. It's worth it. Impeccable service from staff. Food absolutely delicious. The lightness of the naan is astonishing. Would love to know how they do this! Will definitely be back. Old world service and charm with modern twist on sub-continent flavours, truly a winning combination.

We got off to a bad start, being charged an extra £1.50 for a chapati rather than taking the ‘standard’ naan bread seemed a bit much, but we were advised there would be an extra charge when we ordered so we knew this would be the case. However when we received the bill we were shocked to find we had also been charged £3.95 for a glass of water ! I queried this when paying the bill as we had deliberately not chosen a bottle of water when ordering, only to be told that this was correct and it was in the drinks menu ! Such a shame to spoil what would have been an otherwise very pleasant lunch. p.s. the drinks prices in the drinks menu are also out of date - my pint of Cobra was charged at £5.95 vs £4.25 in the drinks menu

Delicious meal and lovely, friendly staff - cannot fault it! Good spice level and plenty of options to choose from on the varied menu.

Great food. Great service. Lovely clean relaxed restaurant, been a few times now, there’s a reason we keep returning. We will be back.

Stepping into Radhuni felt as though I had been transported straight to the heart of India. From the warm, inviting ambiance to the rich, aromatic spices wafting through the air, every aspect of this dining experience was a sensory delight. Service was top notch, no faults.

Wow what a beautiful restaurant and totally different from most Indian restaurants I've been to... Love it. The waiters are very professional and friendly and the food was amazing. Really tasty, nice spice and the very nice tikka chicken. A little more expensive than other places but well worth it. Needless to say I'll definitely return next time I'm working in the area!

From the time we walked in until the end of our dinner we were greeted with by very pleasant waiters who were very attentive and happy to recommend any specialties, we had Tandoori king prawns chicken and lamb best I’ve ever tasted. We’ll be back for sure.

The best curry around. After trying this place out I seem to find myself coming more and more often. Would struggle to find a better curry. (Rogan Josh and Tikka Masala are standouts to me)

Went for take out very quick service excellent food

I have been a long admirer of Radhuni and have used it and reviewed it positively many times. Sadly that changed after Fridays takeaway. The butter chicken didn’t look or taste like butter chicken so I called asking if they had made a mistake, they sent a driver to pick it up and deliver me a new butter chicken which was very good service, unfortunately the newly delivered butter chicken looked exactly like the one I was returning so I asked the delivery driver just to return both of them. Nothing more was heard from them. The butter chicken was truly awful, it tasted like a very watered down korma with little to no taste and the texture of the chicken was also poor. Very disappointing as I have spent a lot of time and money at Radhuni and have been a big fan over the years.

We have been visiting this place for a long time and we have decided not anymore. It's sick. Will post this anonymously for a wee sense of security!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A rather horrible management which doesn't pay its employees off, tips and recruits them at below the minimum wage. Reckless coordination amongst the team members when we carefully noticed it on our last visit. That was the last time we visited this horrible establishment that exploits young students. And don't you dare come up with an excuse because we have witnessed the entire hypocrisy! My solicitor will ensure we report a police complaint and have you shut down in a few months! Good luck manipulating your CCTV records!

Lovely food. Very polite service. We had garlic chilli chicken and lamb rezala. Also pilau rice and a peshwari naan. All delicious. Just the right amount of spice Poppadoms quite expensive.

A beautiful restaurant. Looks tiny from the outside but is spacious inside. It has very tasteful and stylish decor and sublime lighting. White crisp tablecloths and napkins and smart waiting staff made the meal feel very special. The food was delicious and I cannot fault this restaurant. I will certainly be going back soon.

Here as a party of 5. We had 2 meals for 2 and a meal for 1 with the Sunday banquet menu. Every starter and main course was fantastic. Each tasted different but delicious. The service was 1st class. Will be back soon.

A really nice welcoming local restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service was great. Make sure you order a Mango Lassi if you get a hot dish. Makes all the difference.

We’ve visited the Radhuni numerous times over the years. For a sit in meal it’s always been very good. But every time we get a takeaway it’s a hassle. Tonight’s takeaway saw using having a debate with them over whether we could pay by card for a delivery - initially no, then a reluctant yes. In the end we just collected only to be initially charged for someone else’s meal! The food itself was generally very good quality. A couple of the mains perhaps needed a bit more cooking. Nice and fresh but things like the aubergines were just cooked enough. We’re vegan and the menu has clear vegetarian sections and it also marks dishes with dairy. So as long as you avoid anything with egg it’s pretty good for vegans to make an informed choice. As usual most of the breads have dairy. We did manage to get the daal made with vegetable rather than butter ghee which was nice of them although it took a little explaining. Overall a good restaurant, not the cheapest, but we never manage to get a takeaway without something going wrong!

Possibly the nicest Indian meal I have ever had as agreed with other family members. Every dish had a distinct taste and didn’t blend into the other. Would highly recommend. Service was friendly and attentive too.
