Positives ,very nice restaurant, service good food great all round ,only negative some pricing I feel unjustified Tandoori dishes some restaurants give curry sauce in price some don't, ordered chips instead of rice and a curry sauce Charged £6 for the chips in small silver dish (value for money No)same curry sauce charged £10(value for money No ) gobsmacked a meat curry is ony £14 £15 etc ,£10 for a curry sauce to go with your Tandoori dishe shocking , Total chicken tika main chips and curry sauce £31 yes £31 ,you have poppadoms a starter and couple none alcohol drinks your looking at £50 £ to £60 Restaurant now fine dining prices

Tremendous take away from The Radhuni last night. Food was superb and all our guests were full of praise. One even commented that it was probably the best Korma they have ever tasted, not being a fan of Korma I had to try it and it was amazing! All the food was excellent! Brilliant to have such a fantastic Indian restaurant on our doorstep!

Superb Indian restaurant in loanhead Midlothian,superb lamb rogan josh and Peshawari nan, not a big choice of non alcoholic drinks and waiters were a bit over attentive for my liking,but food was superb.

The starters were very average, lamb chops have next to no meat on them so don’t get these. The main curry’s were really nice, garlic chilli chicken was the best.

We had such a great night - we make sure to visit the Radhuni every time we go to Edinburgh. This time one of us was on a vegan diet, which the staff was very helpful and accomodating to. Everything was so tasty - the lamb rezala was especially great.

Food was amazing, had the lamb Bhuna and chicken Malayan, and the haggis pakoras are beast, best curries going, atmosphere is good, and even my Mrs enjoyed, ( a hard feat, as she is not a curry person)

We tried 4 different curries. They were all lovely. Inparticular the shasi chanti and chicken chilli masallam. Fantastic service and attentive staff.

Hands down best best curry in Midlothian

Having heard excellent reviews of Radhuni a home delivery takeaway did not disappoint. The food is delicious - the chicken was tender it was like a knife going through butter. Looking forward to visiting for a meal as well as takeaway meals. Highly recommend

We had a delicious takeaway 😋 Our first visit here and won't be the last. The restaurant looked elegant and clean, the staff were very polite. Although we had a takeaway, we would definitely dine in next time. !! We ordered a lamb tikka starter and poppadoms with mango chutney and onion salad, vegetable pillau rice. One main course of chicken tikka murgh mango curry, also a main of chicken tikka (they call kebab) with salad and a wonderful garlic nann, with the garlic you can taste !!! The flavours were amazing I have to say. Huge lamb pieces with red chilli and onion. My curry was sooo beautifully blended with flavour, I wd happily order this again!! The chicken tikka was melt in your mouth tender and such a generous portion too. It's easy to see how they received 2023 Award for best Indian restaurant in the country. Would recommend. Thank you 😊 x

Lamb chop starter was cold,butter chicken sauce was had the strangest colour and was tasteless,the Coke Zero my wife had was flat,10 of us were there and not one of us enjoyed the food

A halal and luxurious restaurant with delicious food. It is worth visiting next time and I recommend it. Its prices are high, but it is worth it for its service, the quality of its food, the cleanliness and the luxury of the place.

Went here on the 24/08/2024 for a birthday treat with family I rarely get to see. We were booked in for 6pm and seated virtually straight away. There were 6 of us. After about 10/15 minutes they brought poppadoms and dips, and our drinks. That was it. After half an hour we had to find someone to take our order. No staff visible. After we had been there an hour and 20 minutes, we had to, yet again find someone to ask where our food was, and to get more drinks. When it eventually came out 20 minutes later. 1 meal was missing, and my order was wrong. Took another 10 minutes for mine to come, the rest of the table had nearly finished. The food was delicious, but service was appalling. We did notice however, lots of takeouts being done. Seems like takeout is the priority. The busiest person was the kitchen busboy who was constantly fetching and carrying. They did comp us £10 off the bill for waiting 1hr 40 minutes for food. Which was still not acceptable. The place was almost full, and there was maybe 2 members of staff at front of house. Will not be going again. And would advice future restaurant goers, don't go if your hungry.

We sat for 35mins before we even got the menu ,,, delivery's were taking priority. We sat down at 1900hrs didn't start eating until 2045hrs, only after I said something and asked for discount, they took a round of drinks of us ... but food was the dogs dangs

The food here is top notch. Been here a couple of times and ordered via their app many times. Great flavours and polite staff. The only issue is finding a parking spot. Keep up the great work guys.

I visited The Radhuni with my Wife on Saturday for an early dinner, and we had a great dining experience as always. The food was excellent quality, the service was faultless - attentive, friendly and prompt, - and the decor and table layout is very attractive and relaxing. We have enjoyed coming here since we moved to the area 12 years ago, and we have never been disappointed. Standards are consistently excellent and there is nothing in Edinburgh city centre to match The Radhuni.

This is the most overrated and overpriced Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Supposedly received many awards for its great authentic cuisine but honestly, I don't think those who voted for this restaurant have ever tried Indian food in India. The food in Rhaduni is not authentic at all. On top of that you pay a fortune for sub par food

First time trying out for a takeaway. Food was on time and ready at reception when I arrived. Staff were welcoming and professional. Food was delicious, portions a decent size, would recommend. Will definitely be back.

When I'm in Penicuik visiting family I like to visit the Radhuni. Apparently they're award winning, but that happened after I discovered this gem. The place is clean, the staff are polite, the food is great, the drinks are alcoholic on request. I had the chicken puri to start, which came with (for my big mouth) bite sized puris to scoop up the delicious chicken with (using your right hand only, of course). Brother in law had the lamb ribs and enjoyed them. Main for me was a special request. The lamb shatkora, but chicken and HOT. I'm a big spice (capsaicin) fan so the citrus goes beautifully in hot curries. It tasted fantastic with the saag paneer side and roti (very good roti!). My good lady had the mango chicken which was fully flavoured. I had a mango lassi to go with my starter and I have to say it was superb. Made to order, took a few minutes, but worth the wait. After food we took a look at the outdoor dining area. Very smart! Weather like this (it's currently upwards of 20 degrees) and a garden like that can't be beat. To sum up, again I'm happy to return to the Radhuni. As I have been for over a decade.

The food here was top notch. Great flavour and all dishes had something different. GF on the menu. Partner asked for extra extra hot but they didn't quite deliver. Table was very small for 4 with side dishes. But this was a gem which I would be really happy to revisit.

The food was excellent. The staff were very polite and the service was first rate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a first class meal with first class service.

We got off to a bad start, being charged an extra £1.50 for a chapati rather than taking the ‘standard’ naan bread seemed a bit much, but we were advised there would be an extra charge when we ordered so we knew this would be the case. However when we received the bill we were shocked to find we had also been charged £3.95 for a glass of water ! I queried this when paying the bill as we had deliberately not chosen a bottle of water when ordering, only to be told that this was correct and it was in the drinks menu ! Such a shame to spoil what would have been an otherwise very pleasant lunch. p.s. the drinks prices in the drinks menu are also out of date - my pint of Cobra was charged at £5.95 vs £4.25 in the drinks menu

Delicious meal and lovely, friendly staff - cannot fault it! Good spice level and plenty of options to choose from on the varied menu.

Stepping into Radhuni felt as though I had been transported straight to the heart of India. From the warm, inviting ambiance to the rich, aromatic spices wafting through the air, every aspect of this dining experience was a sensory delight. Service was top notch, no faults.

Been here now twice once with wife and daughter for lunch menu and it was 100% a tasty quality lunch 10/10 , family very happy, service 10/10. Fantastic value for money for the lunch menu.
