Awful wetherspoons. Went for a late breakfast but they decided to stop food while they catch up despite it not being busy at all, they said we can order hot drinks so did but went to get a coffee and there were none available so paid for an empty cup. Why bother opening if you can't get anything

Not enough staff serving at bar

Went in for breakfast bacon looked horrible breakfast was just warm wanted fruit and yogert as well no yogert most of fruit was banana 3 pieces of strawberry very disappointing wont be having breakfast in there again

Recently stayed in Winsford with family. Got a shop from Aldi and nipped into here next door. Convenient parking to the rear (so we thought). Read the sign which stated 90mins parking. We was in and out in 50 mins with a spot of breakfast. A week later i get a Euro Car Parks parking fine on the doormat. Had it happen before, managers have been accomodating and been able to have sway with the car park operator upon proof of reciept. So rang and the manager was most unhelpful, we had seated ourselves and ordered to the table, at no point did staff in the place advise that the reg needed to be input in a screen at the end of the bar. Manager advised to pay it within the 14 days so it is "only £45"... Its a £45 i dont have, for parking on a car park with Queens Arms signage, whilst in the said pub spending money. Ive worked in hospitality where head office have flogged the car parks to parking eye or euro, we always used to have discretion in getting fines cancelled when a customer could show proof. I feel the "not our problem" attitude in this case was unprofessional and certainly shows they only want custom and dont care to help at all. Wetherspoons are my go to wherever i am, i used to work in one myself, but i certainly wont go back here and would advise others to be wary if taking a vehicle

Food equal to other Wetherspoons. Server spilt some of my chips on the floor, didn't pick them up or offer me any more. Carpets need a good hoovering.

Cheap food, full breakfast for 5.99. Breakfast served till 12noon

Took an ages to get served even tho no one else was waiting as bar staff busy talking to people already sat with drinks, and talking to someone behind the scenes who was on speaker for the rest of the pub to hear. Almost walked out took so long to be served

I think all the staff are wonderful the food is super I love coming

Really freiny place to visit, food is good for the price and the range of drinks is awesome, great prices to food & drink. Add to this the friendly staff, it's an awesome experience.

Big shout out to Che service with a smile. She served customers delivered food and drink to the tables collected and stacked glasses all with a smile 5 stars for her.

Typical spoons but food seems above average. Breakfast and coffee soooooo cheap.

I must admit, I'm a bit of a Spoons convert, especially when it comes to breakfast which can be of unbeatable value. My favourite at the moment is the 'Freedom Breakfast' from the small breakfasts menu which at £2.25 is pretty extraordinary, mainly because it isn't small (well not from my point of view). It's the same price as the actual 'Small' breakfast which as can be seen from the picture, the one at the back, is actually small! Only criticism is the tepid warm plate which makes eating it all whilst still hot difficult, a properly hot plate is essential for English breakfast satisfaction... Overall 8/10, maybe 9 if I get a hot plate next time.

Considering it was quite busy when we arrived for last minute for the first time in a while can’t actually complain. Apart the fact we had to clean our own table before order and my partner was just given a wet cloth to wipe our own table down and had to bring the rubbish from the tsnle to the bar, the food was hot and quick and Connor was a cracking server! I enjoyed my chicken burger and the other half enjoyed his fish which we’d both ordered a week before and enjoyed then. It’s a shame the rest of the staff aren’t like Connor and Jess there as they both worth hard and do a great job :)

I went for breakfast this morning I was served by a manager who was very rood and had no customer service all she could go on about is what was going wrong and what she dealing with I was served a large breakfast with cold beans burnt toast with no butter and hash browns that were not cooked and cold i had no bacon either so I sent it back the place was not even that busy and other tables had also complained to her and she could not even apologise or even offer the food to go back I waited 45 mins for the first breakfast I sent back then 20 for my second whitch came cold again with no butter hard eggs and I couldn't eat it so up and left

Came foe the first time today. The place is absolutely freezing cold. The fans are on in the ceiling, blowing cold air, making the food go cold. Other than that, it's a nice place.

Great all round pub good food good beer staff great but never enough serving at the bar my only complaint is that the tables are not cleaned after being used by last customer it's everytime I go

Cheap food and nice good price on the drinks and do real ales. Very good

One of the meals came out wrong spent 30 minutes trying to order something else. Told we have to pay £2 extra in the end had refund for one meal that was wrong. Managers not helpful at all.

Bar was mostly empty on a Tuesday afternoon and we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks after ordering om the app and the young woman (may be the manager in her 20s others have complained about) at the bar was very rude and explained how busy she was when there was barely anyone about and didn't offer an apology. If she was too overworked then they need more staff and a lesson on customer service while you're at it.

App wasn't working so had to order at the bar

The lady behind the bar who was taking orders was rude and unpleasant. I observed her from the side, and she randomly told customers that the coffee machine was broken, but there was another one on the other side, causing some people to unnecessarily go to the broken one. There was no smile on her face, which makes you not want to return. The lady was older, with heavy makeup on her face. The time was between 11:00 and 12:00 on 18.09.24.

Staff brilliant. Excellent choice of food . Atmosphere has vastly improved over the past couple of years because more people are coming in.

Lovely pint of Stella, £3.75 cheap as chips, way understaffed had to queue for 15 minutes to get a pint. Not good when you've been fishing all day and gagging for drink.

So I've been parking and using weatherspoons car park Winsford Cheshire for years paying for parking at the machine I recently went to park and the machine wasn't there Apparently they've now changed to register inside Parking invoice recieved £75 The sign at the entrance hasn't been changed for years no sign about the parking at the main door what a joke I spoke to the manager she wasn't interested in helping her attitude was awful no understanding whatsoever It's the last time I go to Spoons Winsford

As a witherspoon pub/restaurant their food is nice and cheap. Went to their "curry Thursday" and their vegetarian chose was not to bad and with a drink a good price.

Perfect apart from toilets. Why use toilet paper that doesn't flush. The toilets could do with an upgrade too. Nearly all the ladies Lois were not fit for purpose. Was very pleased to see new cutlery.

Nice polite quick service great value for money I had the big breakfast and a refillable brew for less than 9 quid what a bargin the quality of the old was great for the price I was impressed I've heard people say thy enjoyed the food so I thought I would give it a go so glad I did . The place was busy for a Tuesday morning so they must be doing something right . I think the only thing that let it down was the gets toilets really need a deep clean but not the worst I've been in by far all in all a pleasant visit

Been here many times, staff always pleasant, food excellent...hot food on hot plates just what we want. Real ale really good too, as nominated driver I have the usual J2o!!!

Just called in for large breakfast and veggie wrap service from the 2 girls was very good but the wife wasn't too keen on the veggie wrap.

Nice food, steak was nice, the Mediterranean salad was lovely. The jack Daniels tense sauce is well nice, it's worth a try. We had chicken sharer too.

Needed a quick stop while waiting for an appointment. This is 450 miles from my home, never been before, but what I like about Wetherspoons, is that you know what you're going get (on the whole) wherever you are in he country. It's not top end, but it not top end price either. I just caught the end of breakfast, and the food was very good....

Food was alright, beer was alright. Its just a wetherspoons! You might get some trouble but at least you'll have a nice cheap meal and pint 👍

El centro neurálgico del pueblo. Económico y con variedad de público le falta personal, como a todos los negocios tras el Brexit pero las que están se mueven. Lo digo yo que he trabajado en la hostelería inglesa a menudo y en diferentes puestos y hoteles. No vi a ningún empleado haciendo más caso a su móvil que al cliente. Las bebidas calientes son gratis de rellenar, la salchicha del desayuno no me gustó, la atención y el ambiente sí.

Just had the worst breakfast ive had at a weatherspoons eggs hard, bacon undercooked, sausage overcooked, hash browns looked like they were cooked in engine oil, beans virtually non existent, and mushroom? dont know as it was missing along with butter for my toast. The only good thing was the HP. Thats me done with weatherspoons you just dont give a ####.

Chips lovely. Panini, I don't know if they've been changed, but they were a little bit hard today. It's still nice, but testing for my 76 year old dad. 😆

Staff are amazing and super friendly! Lindsey always goes the extra mile. Great place to go, and refillable tea and coffee too - what's not to like? Food is what you would expect for the price - it comes out quickly and generally with a smile.

Lovely atmosphere and rock bottom prices! Food and dessert is great so don’t let the low prices put you off! Try the brownie! The toilets were clean and the staff were polite along with the outside area being lovely too!

It's a basic weather spoons what is there to say if your low on cash and you don't want maccies here's your best opinion

Food came out fairly quickly but was poor quality. The plant based burger meal was missing the 6 onion rings listed on the menu and the roasted cauliflower curry meal was missing the mango chutney with the popadoms. The naan bread was very dry and hard in places. The portion size of chips with the burger was very small. The curry was tasteless and bland.

Well what can I say ... we (5 of us ) two couples and a child .. sat at a table near the bar and were in the middle of deciding what to eat when one of the staff members reached up to take a glass from the rack above the bar and it slipped out of her hand and fell and shattered on the bar and sprayed us with shards of glass... which was an accident .... the staff were quick to come over and start clearing up and we were moved to another table .... BUT there was only one apology which was I felt not realy meant ... we were not offered any kind of complimentary drink or any discount for being covered in glass ( back at the airB&B ) and still have shards of glass down my back .... NOW the food .... I had the mixed grill... I wasn't asked how I wanted my steak ...it came and was over cooked and only just edible the gammon was the same and very dry ... the sausages were cooked but had no flavour my friends fish and chips looked more like two fish fingers burnt together ...which was replaced but what came back was hardly better .... now the shift manager ... while he did help with cleaning up the broken glass he never came over after and appologised , and we were made to feel like they wanted us out of there asap ... so will I be going back ... HELL NO .....

Nice clean place and friendly staff and with nice seating area outside and the place is located across the road from the shopping centre.Beware of parking onsite as it is chargeable we parked next door at Aldi.

Over due a refurbishment + staff management was lacking on our last visit.

Don't mind paying for car park on arrival as the notice states that fee will be refunded when you spend more than £5 in Wetherspoons. What they don't tell you is that if you sit down and order from Wetherspoons own app, then you cannot get a refund. Total rip off and after reading other reviews it happens often and they have done nothing about it.

Great place to eat and drink, for bsb weekends at Oulton Park.

Leffe on tap was great. Staff serving are very friendly and helpful. They don't let dogs on the premises, and there is only 1 sign next to the door entrance to the pub saying dogs are not allowed, which we thought meant inside. There are no signs anywhere else to say no dogs on premises.

I love weatherspoons winsford. I know it's a pub but it feels more like a local goto place for all ages, not expensive big menu open all day , special foodie days. Steak, curry,etc (cheaper). Buy a cup of coffee fill ups free all day.Shhh, I like to put a couple of quid in the slots. Staff are lovely, men too. Great place to meet up.

What a poor service, ordered a starter and mains which all came our at the same time so by the time I had finished my starter my mains were cold. Won't see me back there.

Staff are friendly, but rarely is there enough of them on shift. Food is slow coming out, snd often cold by time it gets to your table, with bacon on breakfasts like rubber as clearly stored too long
