Best pub in London, food never disappoints and the service just makes it that much better, especially with Manos! Highly reccomend

Nos alojamos cuatro noches en el hotel. El personal era tremendo, especialmente Daniel. La habitación era muy cómoda y tranquila. El pub siempre fue divertido y el asado del domingo fue el mejor que he tenido. Recomendaría encarecidamente a las personas a alojarse en una visita mínima para las comidas.

We stumbled across this pub on our first day in London. What a find! Menu was well balanced and all our dishes were delicious. Manos looked after us. He was genuinely attentive and very professional. We loved our evening at The Princess Royal

We booked the Victoria room for the evening following a small intimate wedding for 15 people as well as booking 2 rooms for a couple of nights. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The Victoria room was intimate and a wonderful venue with an outside area. The staff were amazing and so friendly. We were treated so well all day and night. During our meal the staff were so attentive, polite and efficient. The food was out of this world. Never have i had so many courses of food that excelled with every plate. Honestly, the best couple of days ever. We will absolutely return at some point to this wonderful venue

I recently visited The Princess Royal Pub & Boutique Hotel in Notting Hill and had an absolutely splendid experience. The beef roast was nothing short of exquisite, cooked to perfection with all the traditional trimmings that made it a true delight. The service was great, and I must give special mention to Sophie and Moe. They were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that our visit was memorable from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend this gem in Notting Hill to anyone seeking both excellent food and outstanding service. Delicious food, great atmosphere. If the weather permits sit in the courtyard outside. Very romantic and heaters if it gets a little cold. George was fantastic..very funny and great waiter full of charm anticipating our every need.

The Princess Royal is my favorite spot in Notting Hill. I regularly eat here with my husband and friends, and my family has stayed in the hotel as well. They thought it was a wonderful experience. The space is gorgeous - the interiors are cozy and well decorated, and the outside seating is so beautiful with lots of greenery. The food is always delicious, and the staff members are amazing. The waiter George is particularly lovely and incredibly helpful! Highly recommend staying and eating here.

Higher level pubs, wooden furniture with lots of skin, walls decorated with paintings and prints. Large bar area with restaurant area also separated from the bar. The staff is very friendly, quick and very attentive to the customer. Sunday is mainly dedicated to roasts. The food is excellent, prepared with great care and skill. Wide choice of wines, beers and liqueurs. The price is a little higher than the average but is suitable for a pub of this level.

I stayed in the Diana room and it exceeded my expectations. The room is beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. It's nice to have the pub downstairs to wind down at the end of the day. All the staff and service people were very kind and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

We visited the Princess Royal without having a booking and wasn’t sure if we ll be able to get a table. The atmosphere was so nice and the manager, Daniel was very welcoming and nice and accommodated us straight away. We also had our little one with us and the staff have been very accommodating, provided with crayons and colouring paper ❤️ Our waiter Akshai was so friendly and helpful and convinced most of our party to have the special which was absolutely mouth watering ‘Lamb with Wild garlic and courgette risotto’. We enjoyed a squid for starters and our little one had the chicken milanese. All the food was amazing, so flavoursome and fresh.👌 Thank you everyone for making this a wonderful experience!! We will definitely be back !!

We stayed for my husband’s Birthday yesterday evening and wanted to drop a note to say how lovely it was. The room was a very good size, we also had a big double bath at the end of the bed that perfect. The room is well fitted out and the furnishings are beautiful. The bed itself was also extremely comfortable. And of course not forgetting the people that work there, they were super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Exceptional place for a meal. The food is delicious. Nice pub style restaurant. The drinks are great too. Lots of wines, beers and cocktails to choose from.

This is the most consistent spot in Notting Hill. We sat at "The Raw Bar" watching and chatting with the very talented Kamil as he created some spectacular food with incredible flavours - we snacked on some caponata (which went beautifully with the Negroni) and then both had Beef Carpaccio. Really beautiful plates made with real care. For mains I had the tagliatelle with n'djua and burrata - my wife had the minestrone with some focaccia. The staff really stand out in this place and caring about their product and their customers.

The Princess Royal used to be an address I would recommend to anyone but last time it has been a true disaster. First we discovered (when ordering) that there was no raw fish, then surprisingly for a pub that there were no French fries! The waiter couldn't care less and never apologized. I ordered some potatoes instead that were not even cooked. A very disappointed experience.

Really nice pub. The burrata, torched mackerel, ribeye on the bone and angus flat iron are delicious. The ambiance is really nice too. Great for date night or to hangout with friends.

Probably a year ago I enjoyed a lovely meal in here, however in the last 6 months whenever me and my partner have tried it the service has left a lot to be desired. Today we came in and although there were two senior members of staff at the till infront of us, we were completely ignored. We sat ourselves down and it took 10 minutes to be noticed (at this point I was putting my coat on to leave), finally a gentleman in a black suit came and took our drinks order and starters. We had oysters as well, they came with no Tabasco and by the time someone reacted to us trying to get their attention, we had finished them 😂 We ordered mains, I got a burrata starter, which again wasn’t whole and tasted of vinegar, my partner had the roasted fish which was overdone. We sat with our plates lay so they knew we had finished for 20 minutes… during this time I counted 11 members of staff walk past us and 8 at one time (inc 3 senior members off staff) stand at the till. It’s a shame, there used to be a guy who seemed like the manager/host and he was absolutely brilliant - I think he’s now left and it feels like the majority of staff are leaning over the bar for a chat and avoiding eye contact with anyone at a table. There was one girl whose name I didn’t get that was lovely, she got us our second drinks and also cleared our table - definitely wasn’t meant to be on our section but had noticed we were sat for a long time. She had curly hair and glasses, she’s a credit to the team.

What a wonderful find. From the moment we checked in we were looked after. Tulio and the team were just charming. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious meal in the evening. We are looking forward to returning again!
