The best mixed grill by far, had sports on, decent selection of beers and all at good price.

Ordered a mixy way to big for 2. That being said, perfect size for 4/6 ppl. Now the food :-/ what happend to these guys they were amazing before the food now is well below expectations. I'd rather go down the road to Scotsman or venture to punjabi dhaba hownslow for the quality n authenic punjabi flavours.

A bit cheap looking but definitely local and important for the area...

The food is excellent, but I often opt for takeout due to the unappealing atmosphere, particularly for women.

I think it's fair to say that Punjabi Pubs, such as the Prince of Wales, are major players in the Great British Pub revival. Independent, good beer, good company, and great food if you want it. This is a pub, not a gastro pub or restaurant posing as a pub. A Southall institution.

Food was very good but was a bit slow. Hard to park around it but there is a corner shop next to it. In the back room there is a pool table and boxing machine. The restaurant sells curry and English food. Been there a few times and is always showing football or rugby

Absolutely brilliant pub and Indian restaurant combined. Went with a friend to watch Liverpool v Burnley during a visit to London. Enjoyed the range of beer and the lamb madras was superb. Loads of flavour and very spicy. Loved it. To finish the night off, MC Grindah from BBC'S People just do nothing walked in! Great stuff

As per many reviews, the mixed grill is a good choice, particularly for hungry carnivores. Beer (ale) choice is woeful however. V cold bottled Doom Bar is about it

The food is so fantastic that it makes up for the worst carpet in pub history. Honestly, if these folks invested in some nice wall art and got the vibe a little better, it would easily be the best pub in West London.

Good is very traditional, the mix kebab platters are very well presented. This is indo/Chinese & all the plates have a very good authentic taste

We had a rather disappointing experience with both the service and the food at this restaurant. Despite ordering Masala Paneer, we were served Butter Paneer. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they refused to acknowledge the mistake. As a result, the Butter Paneer tasted overly sweet and lacked flavor. The Tarka Dal, while tasting good, was not what I would consider traditional Tarka Dal as it contained chana dal. The staff seemed inattentive and relied on their poor and short-term memories, which was frustrating. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place to families.

The food itself was very good but found it slightly cold, there were 11 of us who had booked the table for the evening . The service from the staff was ok would not say it was brilliant and the Atmosphere itself was busy with large screens playing football. Would definitely go back to try different dishes.

I have past this pub many times over the last few years but this time i got to visit and it wasn't disappointing the staff were friendly polite and welcoming. the pub itself was very clean and well presented with the food just as good the pub is located on the main street so easy to find if staying local

Amazing Indian food so tasty and fresh

Fab in many areas, the service was perfect, they have a good selection of nice lagers, they're not so strong on beers and ales, but maybe little demand for them. The food was nice, well cooked and served quickly. Prices were reasonable but I did wish a few veg had been served with two of the meals. Just serving meat alone or rice is a bit meh. Otherwise great, would recommend.

Attended a funeral reception. Spacious area away from the main pub, reasonably priced drinks, I was able to purchase food if required.

Where do I start - Amazing starters and mains - Amazing service - super kid friendly, my little one cannot handle spices so the chef made something specially for her. Let's just say loved it to the extent at bedtime she was like when we going back . Full Marks all day long !!

An ex Southall boy returning to his roots for a day wouldn’t be complete without a mixed grill at the Prince of Wales. It was like I’d never been away, the aromatic smell on our approach and a great friendly atmosphere accompanied by a genuine warm welcome from the team. I brought along some family members and they were not disappointed and commented that it was a 10/10 for the food. No doubt there will be many a return visit for them too.

Haven't been here in a while. What an idiot I am. The food is excellent, King Mixed grill. Lamb Madras, Butter Chicken. My family and I will be returning very soon. Definitely go here to eat.

Two websites one with a low price and another with higher price not warned about this when phoned to complain got no answer for this they have now missed out on a bigger sale.

Ordered chicken Vinaloo which had tin potatoes added in instead of normal potatoes and also ordered Mushrooms Masala sabji which had whole Mushrooms added in they couldn't even bother to slice or cut them in halves. And also 2 different prices on there website which they charged £5 to much from us no happy ☹️

One of the best Chicken Grill Platter I ever had . Taste was very good . Will definitely go again their for their food . Biryani was ok .

I try to come here when I'm in the area as it is a good pub with good cheap beer and excellent food. It's had a reno which although improving the look of the place seems to have gone a little overboard with the mandatory indian decorations. The service is good, beer is cheap and good quality and the kebabs are freshly made. It's a good night out.

Not sure if they’ve changed supplier/ and chefs but the last couple of times I visited the lamb kebabs had loads of gristle in them. 28th jan 2023 Hence why dropped to 3 star ⭐️ And the Tamarind sauce is way too sweet now Hopefully it’s better on return

Best Indian original food guy you should try out you will love it this place. Be careful when ordering food as the portion are big otherwise you will have to do a doggie bag to carry home

Can’t beat a mixed grill from here, so good! We ordered 2 mixed grills with masala chips, garlic naans and a chicken bhuna. They have some of the best mixed grills and I’ve tried a lot! The masala chips are a personal favourite as well, this is a local staple and a must visit. I would highly recommend, good atmosphere and a nice local. Also a good selection of beers and they show the football with plenty of seating around.

It has been a long time since I have been to this pub, it has changed a lot, food was still good, however bar staff at the time of my visit a little slow and not very good maybe still training or very new.

What a friendly and inexpensive Public House. Lots of people enjoying great food 😋 only popped In for a pint and ended up staying late. Great Pub.

Had a nice chilled evening here

I went with a friend, and we were the only female patrons but did not feel intimidated at all. We both had lamb kebab rolls which were delicious and the food is so good my friend took the phone number from the barman to order a takeaway in the future for a friend. The bar and toilets were clean and tidy. The only downside is that the decor and carpeting isn't stylish and modern but this certainly wouldn't deter me from a repeat visit.

Food is excellent here and not expensive. Had a king mixed grill masala fries, garlic naan and drinks Just right for 2 people not too little not too much

Horrible food. Horrible non-cooperative staff, doesn't welcome feedback and is very offensive and threatening of you try. Should never visit the place if you go as per my recommendation. Very bad experience in a gist and not good food at all. You should not consider dining there if you are expecting a good experience.

I attended this establishment for lunch for the first time today and was not disappointed. The food was outstanding, very tasty and the portion sizes generous. There are a decent amount of seating areas but I imagine it must get busy in the evening. Staff were friendly and welcoming but the only downside is the location, not ideal for parking but don't let that stop you. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I travelled to this place all the way from south London today because it is so good. I had a few beers in the late morning and over lunchtime, and stuffed myself with extremely delicious Punjabi foods. The value is beyond comprehension! so delicious, so excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, and the patrons are clearly a very nice bunch too. I mostly like to eat and drink on my own, but though lots of people spoke to me, my preference for the solitary was understood I think. particular thanks to Chandan for accommodating my little friend. what a legend.

Fantastic food, good prices, large selection of drinks with loads of beers on draught! Rustic atmosphere and decor, get past that and its a winner in Southall! P.s parking is a nightmare though!

Probably closer to a 4.5, but would unfair to assign only four stars. Visited recently again after a couple of years. Mixed grills are what's popular - you literally hear the sizzle of platter after platter coming out of the kitchen. I've always been the only female patron in there and it does feel like a men's club, but having said that, nobody was disrespectful or improper and there was a woman working behind the bar. Food: Mixed grill was good, just a tad overcooked, but came with a generous chutney/salad thali. Naans are pretty large, so we didn't quite need 1/person. All other items we ordered tasted good and were decent portions. Will be back!

I ordered from here through Deliveroo last night as last time I got food from here it was delicious. The delivery said 40 minutes, there was an issue with the driver, granted not the restaurant’s fault. When I called the restaurant and spoke to a so called “manager” he apologised but also continues to say the driver kept saying 5 minutes 5 minutes. Knowing the food had been sitting out for long enough already it continued to sit out whilst waiting for a driver. When I mentioned this to the “manager” he said we don’t have things to keep the food warm. I mentioned knowing he knew the driver was taking longer and food had been sitting out for over 45 minutes that he should have made fresh food to which his response was then we will have to waste more food. This to me was unacceptable, He willingly gave our freezing cold stale food to the driver to be delivered to us to be thrown straight in the bin. The onion bhajis is where in the bottom of the plastic bag not even in the packaging. In one breath he said we don’t have contact with Deliveroo and then said I have contacted them to see how long the driver would be, obvious lie. This is not the kind of response you would expect from a manager who would willingly give out cold food to save money but disappoint the customer. So so disappointed in this place it’s unreal.
