I’ve seen quite a few landlords and landlady’s come and go since the sad passing of Carol… I rarely leave reviews… however, felt the need too for our new land lady of the Prince of Wales.. Kayleigh. One of the most iconic places in the area. Believe or not, Rod Stewart has visited this place approximately 30 years ago during his stay in Manchester, worth to be, worth to see

Came here last week after living down south for X amount of years, came in on a busy Friday night and the place was absolutely lovely, fast and very pleased service and a great vibe. I'm 22 and love small pubs with a great atmosphere of the older generation. If your looking for an old pub vibe or even somewhere cosy and pleasant then this is the pub you want to go to. Highly recommend

1 stat lost due to a particular clent swearing and very loud but all in all a cosy pub with quality staff.

Nice pint but pretty crowded around the bar and fruit machine area.

To avoid disappointment don't drink the Dock 4 lager. It leaves a nasty after taste. What we're hydes thinking when they brewed this. Obviously profit before customers

Lovely pub with a good outside seating area, there's also shaded seating outside too for those that don't like the sun, staff very well mannered and polite, would definitely recommend 👌

I was unfortunate to have a blackout in the Prince of Wales. No fault of there's, but how FANTASTIC the staff and the locals were in helping me, was unbelievable. Thank you.

Great day considering the difficult times we are in. Will defiantly call in again

Looking forward to a drink at the pub and managed to get a outdoor table. Waited 20 minutes to be served, asked twice for service,and even watched the barmaid sit down and enjoy her own drink. Left without being offered a drink. Found it very strange.

Staff extremely rude and unhelpful Arrived at 9pm, walked through the bar to the beer garden, then walked back in to order a drink only to be informed, by a man that couldn't look away from a TV screen to give me eye contact, that dogs weren't welcome after 8pm. Rules are ok, but some manners would be nice
