Visited last night with family and it was a lovely restaurant. Service and food were wonderful. The menu is great, some really good dishes and generous portions. Great kids offer too and such value for money. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Beats all the rest of the high end / over priced restaurants similar in the area! Keep it up guys ! 😊

We had my daughters birthday meal here. They couldn't enough for us. I took balloons n cake and they helped with it all. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed it. Hot flavourful food. Would highly reccomened

10/10 service and food! We order from Harrapa everytime we want Indian cuisine and the food is always hot on delivery, always really good portion sizes and tastes amazing! Tonight we had ordered the wrong two curries (we had just pressed “order again”) and I rang Harappa a good 10 mins later once I realised and the gentleman who answered the phone was more than helpful, happily changed the order for me and was very kind and certainly understanding! We are already returning customers and theres no doubt that we will continue being so!

So revisted here and I have to say really big improvements on my last visit. Really good deal on for 2 people at £35 for popdoms each, a starter (under £5), curry, rice and naan bread. I had the Tandoori Chicken starter and it was delicious. Sizziling hot when served, the onioms underneath were incredibly tasty, the chicken was succulent and and had decent amount of spice and herbs. The Chicken Tikka Massala was delcious as was the garlic naan and the pilau rice was decent as well. Quiet on a Thursday evening however, plenty of takout orders going out the door which is great to see. Complimentary ice cream served as a mini dessert that was refreshing after the curry. Bill was very reasonable. Service was efficent, and freindly will be back very soon.

Our order arrived over an hour late The food was cold and watery We found a piece of wood and a black hair in the chips. Overall we are very disappointed in the food and service and would not recommend eating here and we will not be ordering from here again.

Always order from this place but just lately theve been things missing from the order. This has happened a few times. Food is spot on but getting the orders together seems to be few and far between. The odd chutney missing here and there soon adds up.

I recently dined at Haroppa restaurant, and I must say, the experience was fantastic! The food was absolutely amazing with excellent taste, and the service has improved significantly. I can't wait to go there again! Ronnie

Awful service. I ordered food to my house and they couldn’t find my address (despite my address being correct on just eat, and also me providing directions 5 times on the phone to help them. so lied and said I wasn’t in. Then they said they weren’t going to deliver my food, they still charged me and it was then too late to order food from anywhere else!

The food is perfect eveytime I go. The staff are welcoming and friendly and are very helpful. Never over crowded like most restaurants, I prefer a less busy atmosphere and puts less stress on the staff. Only down side is that I noticed a lot of cod-weds and spiders also the toilet floor is very slippy. Overall a lovely local friendly Indian restaurant.

Was in Stockport over the weekend , first time I have been here. Now I have a curry most weekends but …. This was amazing !! The food was superb …mad flavours … super tasty , has to be one of the best curries I’ve ever had. The place is really nicely done out , staff were first class and it wasn’t a rip off price wise .. loved it and will be back again !

Ordered at 20.17 via the website for delivery. Rang back at 21.20 to see where my order was. Said it was being sent out in 5 minutes. Rang back at 22.20 they said it was being sent out in 2 minutes. Went to bed at midnight. It still hadn't arrived.

We love this little gem. Service is second to none, the food is always fresh and delicious and we have tried a number of dishes. Having just read another review someone left about small portions I am gobsmacked! The portions are MORE than generous and we always end up not being able to finish! Nothing but praise for this place, they all work SO hard to make sure everything is perfect. Try it, you will not be disappointed, it's worth a visit just for the amazing garlic rice!! (The Whiteheads 😊)

The meal and atmosphere was pleasant however portions was extremely small for the mains. Also, we ordered 4 poppadoms and got charged £6.10. Overall, very overpriced.

A large group of us came here this weekend for a birthday meal , tables had to be rearranged as we would of all been separated, one of the staff members that was there was plesent and very helpful , However I do not feel they could cope with the large amount of people, they took names per order but they kind of went out of the window and it was like they didn't know who's food was for who even tho they had a list they seemed confused an was just shouting out what they had in there hand , 2 of the meals were served on one plate (2 mixed kebab meals) , one looked like they just threw it on a plate , everyone in the restaurant had been served before our table even tho they came in after us we waited over 2 hours for food we got there for the booking at 5:30 and still hadn't received food after 7pm . Apart from the man who gave me a glass of wine I probably wouldn't go again even tho the food was good . Such a shame.

7 of us ate here on Good Friday and had a great time. Extremely friendly and efficient waiter and the manager/ owner was attentive and approachable throughout the evening from start to finish .. and great conversation! I ordered the KACCHI GOSHT BIRYANI which was delicious - #recommend if you like lamb. The paneer spinach side (PALAK PANEER) was also done really well. Modern, clean surroundings. Looking forward to my next visit (although I live in Brighton, so it may be a while ..). Thanks a lot. p.s. don't be put off by the amount we paid per person below, we ordered a LOT! My main was £9.95. My first time for a 0% Cobra, which was a pretty close attempt at the real thing.

£62 on a takeaway and no popadoms absolute joke

Was disappointed and not the first time shame because it can be amazing or it can be horrendous and put you right off as last meal did will not be returning as consistency is just not there.

The food was delicious, the service couldn’t be faulted and the staff were friendly and helpful, the price was more than reasonable. Would highly recommend Harappa

Beautiful food, we had the beef cooked in the clay oven it was fantastic.. We ordered at 6.30pm on a Saturday night im not going to lie it was a little late but 100% worth the wait .. I would definitely recommend.

Only ever had take away from here but decided to go and dine in for a change and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and the service fast and friendly. Cannot comment on value for money as I didnt pay but would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Small Portions, Poor Service. I am sorry to say that I had an extremely disappointing experience at your restaurant. As a loyal customer, I was disappointed to see the decline in the quality of service and food since the new management took over. The portions were incredibly small and lacking in quantity, especially when we visited with a group of people. We were shocked to see that the quantity of food served was even less than the normal portion size. It felt like the restaurant was cutting corners to save costs, at the expense of customer satisfaction. As a result, we were left feeling extremely unsatisfied and disappointed. We expected better from a restaurant that was once known for its high-quality food and service. It's a shame to see such a decline, and I hope that you can take our feedback seriously and work towards improving the experience for your customers.

Over charged us more than 10 pounds and then argued about it saying that he didn't know it was weekday speciality? We had the speciality menu in front of us when ordering. And he said 1 free poppadom included so he did know. Then he argued huffed and puffed and took 10% off the bill and we still ended up paying £5 too much so fair to say they got no tip. The creepy waiter stood at the back staring at your female isn't cool either. Absolutely ruined our meal out and despite visiting every few weeks with various friends I won't be back because I really don't like being overcharged , argued with regarding it and then remaining overcharged and paying it anyway. If it is a weekday and customer has weekday menu in front of them and order from it and you confirm 1 free poppadoms then accept responsibility and calculate it without trying to steal.

I've been to this restaurant and also get the food delivered. It was on time and extremely delicious. The service is really nice, specially the owner, he is very polite and friendly. Vegetarian dishes are reasonably priced and full-on flavour. Appreciate them for their consideration on special requests.

We've used Harappa for years, but very disappointed lately. I ordered a takeaway via the website. Should have been delivered within 45 mins. After 2 phone calls, it arrived at 8.15, over an hour late. Can't fault the food, but this is the second delivery they have messed up. May have to go elsewhere in the future. Very disappointed

Just had our Christmas Day Curry here and it didn't disappoint! They were running late but took the time to phone us and let us know which was much appreciated. There were 6 of us and the food was top notch! Starter came on a sizzling plate and everyone's mains were really nice. Service was great and in my opinion, the food has improved here! Would happily spend next Christmas Day there! Even brought the leftovers home to enjoy tomorrow!

We've been going to Harrapa for many years now, we've visited a few times since it changed ownership recently. It's safe to say we'll definitely be back again & again. The food has been superb each time, tonight we had a complimentary vegetable dish on the house it's was delicious. The owner and his staff are very polite, friendly and attentive. Very reasonably priced and full on flavour.

Had to ring up to trace delivery after 45 minutes. Meal was cold. The long black hair in the curry was cold too. Mixed up the order, two lamb instead of lamb and chicken. Taste was fine hence the 2 stars. Not repeating custom

Food excellent but waited too long between courses

We have had 3 takeaway meals with Harappa which all have been very good until last night when we tried the chicken and all 3 of us got food poisoning plus up all night being sick.

Used them for last 8 years, recommended to all that asked about what is best Indian in area, always said this one. Rang up because loyalty voucher didn't go through. Because was third party they couldn't help us with. Offered us a percentage off next order but obviously we saved up our loyalty points and wanted the 10 pounds off this order really so told them not to deliver. What upset me was the rudeness on the phone’ I’m busy I do not want to deal with you basically. Apparently been taken over and not the same CS as kept us coming back. I 100% will not order them again and my husband who is customer facing and always recommends them to customers will not either. I’m sure they are not bothered they never are really are they but won’t ever use them ever again.

The food here is delicious and fresh. We’ve ordered take away from here for a few years, however, we dined in for the first time. We had the weekend set menu and the food was incredible. The mixed started was plentiful and sizzling. You had a choice of whatever main you wanted and they were gorgeous. The side dishes and sundries were fresh and authentic. The service was attentive and super friendly. In future, we are going to get out of our pyjamas and get down to the restaurant

Have lived round the corner from here for 30 years and been many times through various owners. Tonight was our first time since Rasaal has owned it. What a great experience , seeing an owner with such energy and passion for his business. Not sure where to start with a review as every element of what he is trying to achieve is testimony to what a business should be. We had a 3 course set meal for 2 with a bottle of good wine...food was fresh, tasty and authentic. The bill was £37...We didn't even gave the dessert are we were full!...yet we were still given a glass of brandy and baileys. I paid £50 as felt the set meal was worth £10 more than they were charging. Support this business...go see Rasaal and his team...but leave a seat for us!!!

Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Restaurant is clean and well presented. Waiting staff was not great, but the owner was attentive and I am sure will address this in time. I would recommend as the food is top notch.

We usually order from here all the time. Last 2 times it's not been no where near as nice. Chicken veg dry and also ordered cans of pop that never turned up. Will be looking for a new curry place. Shame
