Chicken korma was not a chicken korma, both rices were wrong. No mango chutney. A lot of items paid for in goodwill. But all incorrect that sent, restaurant won’t answer the phone. Terrible service

Somehow on the app they managed to check the food out at 7:20pm but the food didn’t arrive until past 8:00pm. The address was clearly saved on the app and I had other deliveries before on time. The food was already scheduled to be delivered an hour and a half after the order and then the delay.

Had a chicken tikka rogan Josh and the chicken was really dry. The portion of chips was tiny for a large chips at £3.90, definitely not value for money. Disappointed as we have been here before and had good food

One meal ok , one not , ordered chicken tikka rogan josh ok Lamb tikka madras , lamb was tough & grisly , & madras just tasted. Like a base curry gravy , not taste or spice. , normally great food here ! Have they changed Chefs. Will leave a couple of months before returning

Tonight ordered a delivery and it arrived (Just Eat) after a long 70 minutes wait. I chose this because of the claim to be 'king of kebabs'. couldn't be further from the truth. the chicken was dry and the donar meat was just awful. had a very strange taste. quite definitely the worst kebab I have ever had. most of it went in the bin. Will not be ordering from here again.

The lamb chicken and sheek kebab horrible, all the meat was tough, tasteless and all tasted the same. Plus a horrible colour. Salad was soggy not crunchy naan bread flat and dense not fluffy. Chips soggy in a wet through bag. Very disappointing.

Didn’t want to write on a review as not enough to tarnish the reputation but no way to contact.. the food is perfect. Never go anywhere else. HOWEVER, the amount of sauce for popadoms let’s it down massively. I ordered double mango and 1 mint sauce and the tubs were half full. Ended up scrimping and throwing 3 popadoms away due to running out of sauce (we LOVE popadoms throughout the meal too). Please take this on board so we can continue to enjoy your lovely food :)

First time here in 8-9 years and won’t be going back again. Noticed the decor hasn’t changed and really does need doing up, as looks a right dump. Says on the menu “king of kebabs”. So thought I’d try large Donner kebab for £7.50, it was the smallest Donner I've ever had on naan bread. Dry, thickly cut and plain tasting and tiny portion. The Mrs had a Samber, rice, onion bahjees, and she says was the worst curry she’s had in a long time. Thought the popperdoms were a bit pricey at 90p, so ordered just one to try, and trust me you get only one, but the type of super thin one, as soon as you touch it it breaks. Really bad food at this place. Avoid.

When a majority of your food order is meat which consists of lamb and chicken and a majority of the meat is unable to be tense because it is not tender but more chewy the last thing you want to is chew meat because it’s not been cooked properly which is then unable to eaten it makes you wonder why I even bother ordering YES this food was thrown away all of it waste of money and time as we could’ve ordered from a chef that knows how to cook meat chicken lamb it’s a disgrace. Don’t bother ordering

Food was just what you want for an easy Indian takeaway, hot and fresh. Arrived a bit behind the estimate, but not massively.

fantastic as always, we order fairly often and there has been no drop in service or quality from the very high standards we receive each week.

Best food we have eaten in a while. Quality was spot on, and portions good, salad fresh. Would order mix kebab and samosas again without hesitation. Only criticism would be that wasn't expecting a chicken strip thing for 'one piece chicken', thought there would be chicken on the bone. Chips reasonable. Naan OK, more a flatbread. Despite this, overall food experience was good.

Always order chicken tikka masala weather that be from here or any other Indian Restaurant as I love a curry on the sweeter side. I have had many masalas but as soon as I opened this one it was a brown colour ( like a bhuna ) which I just thought maybe the food die wasn’t put in enough but as soon as myself and my partner dug in, it was very very spicy and not like a masala at all, let alone the masala we had here in the past. The restaurant was very unhelpful and told us “that’s how it made” up

Ordered from Kismat tonight for the first time and it was soooo good! Everything we ordered was delicious. I collected and it took over half an hour to get ready but I see that as a sign of a good takeaway. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thanks.

The order took 1 hour 45 mins to arrive. The starters were tough in texture and hard to eat. Not happy with it at all.

Fine fayre. Although delivered early (18:20 being the earliest time they show for this) it was down for delivery ASAP - so one was waiting less than feared!... this was not a problem.

Used to be the best Indian take away but last few times ordered wasn’t great. Tried it for the last time hoping it would be different but will never order again. Took 2 and a half hours to deliver and was luke warm and had a piece of wire in the saag, not a thick piece of wire as in from a wire brush but a bendable thin piece and put me off my meal completely. Have no idea where it could have been from but was mixed in with the sauce. Such a shame as used to be amazing

This is definitely my favourite Indian take out on just eat, the wait times for food can be high sometimes during peak hours, however, the quality of the food is stunning.

Best kebab I've had in a long time. Bread was amazing, onions and cabbage fresh as a daisy. Meat juicy and succulent. Sauces were perfect complement to the meat spices.

Shocked, I usually love Kismat. The food was today disgusting, cold, soggy and tasteless. Really unhappy with the order.

Great food one of the best curries about and not very expensive either. They aren't very hot but what they lack in heat they absolutely make up for with flavour!

the kebab was slightly smaller than from a lot of other places in my opinion but the kebab was much better quality, especially the donner and naan. the presentation was much better too.a con could be that the salad variation was small, other places have more vegetables. also don’t feel hesitant to pay the extra £1 for jalapeños because you get like approximately 7 big ones on the side

I've used the Kismat for 25 years and always enjoyed the food. The chicken mains are full of large chunks of chicken breast and the lamb meals have lean and tender meat.Starters excellent and portions large. Can't beat it!
