Ordered “Turkish Delight” pizza which was described as having onions, peppers and doner meat- lo and behold… got the pizza… no doner meat!!!!

Was in Aberfeldy on a Sunday, there was a massive queue for here so though it must be good. Came back on a Wednesday evening, fast service and the chips were lovely. Cooked perfectly, fresh and not too greasy. Hubby and fish and it looked golden crisp, he said it was very good

Stopped in on Saturday night, excellent food very quick and pleasant service. Highly recommend for a visit.

I gave 3 stars for the food but wanted to give 2.5. It was a Sunday night and I think the staff were in a rush. No sooner had the food come out of the fryer then it was straight into the box for serving. I had a jumbo sausage supper, and I don't know it was cooked fully. The amount of oil in the box was off putting. My family all had fish suppers, and they were the same. They were tasty, but as said, I think it was all v rushed. Had the food been able to drip dry for a while, would have been much better. The chips were also quite dry, and felt like they were actually oven chips thrown in the fryer. Staff were very friendly and polite, and the food was reasonably priced. There seemed to be lots of regulars coming in & out, which is a good sign. It may just have been a rushed order. If so, I'd happily change my score.

Got 2 battered fish suppers and chips ... batter tasted lovely however the fish was extremely dry and tasted off, Chips tasted stale too, will try somewhere better tonight. We wouldn't recommend.

Unfortunately, pizza looks and tastes like it comes from a supermarket and just put in the oven, very tasteless and can tell from the underneath it's not freshly made :( cost £9 so not happy

Chips were old and not fresh. The floor in the kitchen was filthy, fryers were filthy. A very unhygienic kitchen. Yuck!

If you come there in the evening, there is a good chance that you will order fish and chips. This puts old fries in a box

Black pudding was nice but the chips were mostly old and cold , very few fresh 1s. Not good value for money . If I hadn’t taken away so far would have taken back the chips , easily worst chips I’ve had. Won’t be back I’m afraid .

Everybody loved it, the rolls were extremely soft and delicious and the fish was so moist, and the cheesy chips were very generous on the cheese. The staff are friendly and professional. What can I say, a great plaice.

Food was terrible, pizza was burnt and the toppings were wrong and the kebab order was wrong as well as the donner meat being awful! Won’t be back in a hurry!

For a ‘small’ this was such a nice big portion of chips and gravy. Thick gravy, nice chips. A little wait but at least we knew it was fresh. This was bustling with people whilst we sat and ate our chips.

Ordered a Large Kebab with extra sauce as per brochure on phone £12 for collection. Turned up at stated time and paid £12.75, OK. Stood and waited. 2 o folk came in after me ordered food and got orders. Someobe elase came in and another member of staff asked what I wanted and I explained I'd already paid for my order. They went to heated cabinet and he lifted ouf my sealed meal. No idea what I did to upset 1st guy where he didn't give me order. Donner Chips Salad and Pita fine. Lamb and chicken both black and burned and not fit to eat. Having driven out of town not coming back I won't recommend. Absolute disgrace.

Amazing! Food was fantastic, staff friendly, cute little spot. I picked up a cutting /charcuterie board even.... Gets busy when the kids are let out of school, but shows how good the food is! Great price, highky recommend the NY filling

The food was the best, we had a whiskey tour and a kot of beer and this was the best pizza we had the whole vacation! Congrats!

The meat special pizza was amazing and the 12 inch special munchy box wasn’t too shabby either.

We had fish and chips on our first night of our holiday (rented a cottage locally for the week) and weren't disappointed, good prices and generous portion sizes and the food was delicious. We had kebabs from here and they were the best kebabs we've had, the portions were massive and we struggled to finish the kebabs, tender chicken and lamb which were beautifully flavoured and the kebabs were served with chips. Would recommend it you are looking for tasty takeaway food.

Quite possibly the worst takeaway I've had in some time. Didn't realise chips could be so dry but the seagulls still appreciated them. Friends got haggis and scampi both if which were also not great.

best ever fish and chips in aberfeldy i went on holidays with family in aberfeldy and had fish and chips from chippy shop fish was so amezing wel cooked we all really enjoyed it. definately will go back their again highly recomended

Poor quality disappointing fish and chips - not just my opinion, my wife and kids felt the same. Had expected fish from a town near Loch Tay to be fresh and delicious..it wasn't. The service was also substandard...we were standing at the counter for 10 minutes with no one asking us what we wanted.

First time we visited aberfeldy and got 2 portions breaded fishes at lunchtime. Surprised to see one and the half huge breaded fishes inside each box and freshly fried. (bear in mind it was breaded fishes we bought) So yummy. Definitely coming back next time. Bear in mind they only opened lunchtime for the students when the schools are open otherwise they will open 16.30pm onwards

Very friendly and attentive staff, takeaway was busy so there was a little que, but i was happy to wait a few minutes. Card payment was accepted, which is handy as I seldom carry cash. Pricing I thought was competitive. The food itself was very tasty and hit the spot, suppers were actually a good size. I had order extra chips (to top up the 3 suppers) as they are often lacking (at some chipers) but i didnt really need too. (Although that being said, they were still all eaten! 😁) If I was to be critical I'd have liked the chips a little crisper, but that was just personal preference and I enjoyed what I had.

Great takeaway. All what one may expect. I enjoyed the classic fish and chips, the fish was tasty, portion was huge. If you are pressed by time constraints, this is the place to go.

We stopped in for fish and chips whilst visiting Kenmore. The chip shop is 10 minutes from Kenmore by car and if you've got a heated seat, your food will stay warm! My wife and I both had fish and chips. It was made to order therefore it was fresh and hot. The batter was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, which I prefer. It was served with proper mushy peas and I also bought a tub of curry. The curry was a little powdery. We enjoyed it, it wasn't very greasy or dropping in oil. It's a tasty chippy, the nearest one for miles ha!

Was fine got steak pie which was really nice but the chips were cold

What a waste of space initial delivery unable to locate address meal delivered look warm complaint made chap by the name of Brodie called me apologised & said my next order would be discounted for the inconvenience. I call to place an order today @ 17.50 only to be told discounts cannot be authorised & Brodie was not available I also take great exception to being called “pal” several times very condescending Obviously an establishment who cannot keep to there promises Suggestion avoid like the plague as you can detect a very dissatisfied customer once bitten twice shy

Wow, that was a quality fish supper, well cooked chips and tasty fresh fish. Highly recommended. Very reasonably priced too

Awful salad with shish kebab, loaded with chips I didn't ask for and no sauce because I was supposed to ask for sauce. Terrible customer service.

What an awful experience this was - incredibly rude and sullen staff, who served around 15 people who'd ordered after us first, keeping us waiting 20 minutes for the most basic order. I had a donor kebab, which consisted of a styrofoam container of dry, old, kebab meat, with a kind of mini naan bread on top. Not on top of the meat - on top of the container itself. There was no salad included and non offered, and I badly regret not taking the only option available - sauce - as at least it might have moistened the meat enough to make it edible. My partner had the mixed kebab, which arrived in a box parcel taped shut. Same nasty old kebab meat, accompanied by lamb(?) and chicken chunks, on a bed of chips, with the same mini bread on top. Again, a 'kebab' consisting of meat and no veg. Or any structure. Or edibility. Absolutely drowned in salt, despite us saying no to the salt/vinegar/sauce option. We are not people to waste food - leftovers are always saved and used in something. We are heartbroken to have just ditched almost £15 of food in the bin; it took us longer to try and work out - and ultimately discount - any possible use for this meal, than it did to realise just how vile it was. Wouldnt even give it to the dog...

Tried this place for a takeaway whilst in the area for a few days and the food was great. At the time of ordering we were told how long it would be and that's how long it was. Great service guys and great food. Thank you

Mixed Kebab, Outstanding. Munchie Box Outstanding. 2nd night in Aberfeldy. We went to a competitor last night. Not brilliant. Tonight we tried this Plaice! People queuing outside, tells you what you need to know. Great food, efficient. Just what we needed. We ll be back .

Excellent fish and chip shop, everything seems to be cooked to order which means there is a bit of a wait. But they are worth it. They seem to do a good trade in pizzas, not tried them but the locals seemed to be ordering them more than the fish and chips.

Would give 0 stars if i could. Worst chips ive ever had. The fish wasnt bad but it was very dry.

Had a pepperoni pizza. Pizza was tasty with lots of cheese. Staff were friendly, a queue outside the chippy would be reccomended though as people just seemed to stand in random spots not knowing who's waiting for food or who's waiting in the queue to be served.

I ordered a Donner Calzone but got a Donner pizza instead, nevertheless, it was a good pizza.

Very friendly staff. Food was quite good and reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you're in the mood for a chippie in the area.

Pretty good chippy. It's the only option in Aberfeldy though so not much competition for them. I've only eaten the chippy food so can't comment on the pizza or that. The most important thing to me is that they actually put an adequate amount of salt and vinegar on their chips! Love that.

If you want to experience what covid feels like then I would certainly recommend here, food has no smell or taste and only one member of staff wearing a mask! Fish tastes frozen not fresh. Chips overcooked and tasteless. Wasted £25 on the worst chip shop dinner 👎🏼

This place gave me the worst fish and chips I have ever had, soaked in grease and vinegar to the point where it was leaking through the packaging. Fish was terrible... dry, chewy and tasting of nothing. Also, no one wearing masks inside. If there is anywhere that is going to spread covid in Aberfeldy its this place. I would not recommend it, avoid if you can.

Overall just OK. Chips were a bit of a let down lots of brown bits and tasted like they'd been lying. Masks worn by the staff were hit & miss.

Last 2 fish suppers have been delicious. Large portions and excellent value 👌

Fast, inexpensive, and delicious. Hits the spot when you're really hungry and want to eat NOW. Mix of fish/chips, pizza, kebabs, burgers, and more.

The fish was overcooked and dry, the Scottish pie was a reheat so the meat was a little hard ball inside a tough casing, chips full of eyes, the macaroni pie was like rubber and went in the bin after 1 bite but on the plus side the pizza was nice. This is one plaice that will NEVER be visited again.
