The Pharoah in Castlereagh

Got a takeaway from Pharaoh in Ballygowan while passing through today (26th Jan 21). 2 kebabs in pitta bread and chips. Kebabs had no onion, coleslaw or nothing and the chips were the worst I have ever seen or tasted. dark brown greasy chump of muck. How anyone could serve this standard of food, wrap it up and send you on your way is unbelievable. Charge you £21.00 and have you wait for almost 30 minutes, with no other customers, for the pleasure. Stay clear. We will certainly never ever be back.

Haven’t been for ages as last experience not good.... unfortunately no improvement this time. Fish batter completely soggy & inedible & there was hardly any sauce in the kebab. Think this definitely my last visit 😞 - shame as it used to be fantastic.....

Having eaten from the Pharaoh twice before and really enjoyed it. The difference in experience is night and day. The food this time was cold, small portions and honestly if I'd paid less than half of what I had, I'd have been distinctly unhappy. I had strongly recommended the place and was embarrassed when I opened the food in front of my family at home. The chicken kebab looked like boiled off cuts of chicken over a few chips and covered in dry cabbage and carrot. The chicken burger seemed like it was microwavable one from Iceland. The pharaoh baguette quite literally was filled with one beef sausage cut thinly and 4 chips and pile of dry coleslaw. Again it's disappointing as I had been in before and really enjoyed the food, but honestly I couldn't recommend anyone eating here.

Visité dos veces esta semana para la recolección, lo dejé más tiempo del indicado que estaría listo (5 minutos / 10 minutos) en ambas ocasiones enfrentó una espera de 30 minutos después de la llegada, la actitud fue impactante del personal. La comida era apta para la basura en ambas ocasiones, este lugar solía ser el mejor, ahora está raspando el fondo del barril. Busque mejores opciones cercanas.

Quality is variable but on a good day can't be beaten. I have tried all the other chippies in this part of East Belfast and would not get a kebab or fish supper from anywhere but the Pharoah.

best kebabs ever - they do on pitta, naan, rice or chips, massive helpings and lovely quality. Its proper meat not that donner stuff

spent £34 pound tonight for dinner for 5 hard greasy chips cold gravy soggy chicken most of it went in the bin stay clear folks

This used to be a firm family and friends favourite takeaway, but standards have severely dropped and apart from anything Kebab being ok and gorgeous supersize beef sausages, you take a chance with the rest. Counter staff try their best but very obvious lacklustre, couldn't be bothered "chefs" leave a lot to be desired. I don't mind waiting for "fresh" food, but 20 minutes and off home to discover chips appear to be heated more than once previously battered fish appear to have been a victim of vicious assault prior to cooking and tasted ok, but not worth going back for to be honest. Very disappointing and not acceptable, changes need to be effected to keep customers, plenty of other choices nearby.

Pedí un chili picante salado (no hablo el engles) y un nacos con abuela. Necesitaba agua, así que le conseguí que lo hicieran. También necesitaba leche y leche. La identificación estaba encendida, pero no era suficiente para las necesidades de los monos y se puso un mono y mi hija Talia se sorprendió con el pollo porque no estaba preparado. Ordered a kebab on nan bread. Absolutely stinking. Found I’ve been charged the wrong price for it and noted the server chatting away on her phone whilst serving food. Won’t be near this place again. Disgusting food and poor service.

Si buscas un buen kebab entonces evita este lugar a cualquier precio, demasiado caro y son tan miserables con sus raciones ah y no pedir queso o salsa que se paga incluso más dinero. . También el personal no son un poco amable, así que evita que la gente

Popped into here to get something on the way home. Quality food and good sized portions. Service was good and quick.

It took 35 minutes to make one kebab. I phoned in an order specifically so I wouldn't have to wait and was told 15 minutes, when I got there I had to wait a further 20 minutes. Not worth the wait.

El Faraón se puede encontrar en la rotonda y el puente de campanas para llevar bien establecido ha sido suministrar excelentes kebabs a la zona durante años.A veces no encontrar las patatas fritas y (especialmente) extras como maltratada aros de cebolla un poco grasienta para mi gusto, así que normalmente usas el magnífico kebabs steak y hamburguesas.

The kebabs are great as in 6 out of 5. The portions and prices are more a 4 out of 5 and the time spent waiting is a 3 out of 5.

The kebabs here haven't changed since my first taste in the late 80s, simply​ the best! One is never enough though. Fresh, delious and incredible. Would recommend kebabs for breakfast lunch and dinner from here. 😋

Llamado en un kebab, hace un par de semanas. Pedimos un kebab en chip y un chip de curry. Decidimos ir en aproximadamente la mitad de 5 para ganar la carrera de rugby. Pero más y más gente empezó a venir en pos de mí, pedir y obtener de ellos entregaron y pagado. Esperamos más de 20 minutos antes yo me levanté y capturado uno de los ojo personal. No reconocer la posibilidad de que les gustaría quizás olvidado mi pedido (lo cual está bien, la gente cometer errores) pero no. Me dieron un muerto detrás de los ojos mirando. El chico obviamente me golpeo un poco frustrado. Finalmente, él gritó el pedido, no hay problema. Luego el precio. Casi 12 libras. De no haber sido tan ocupado me han desafiado, pero yo pensé, "media estoy con hambre y prisa". Ni siquiera tuve mucho como disculpa de la espera. Fui a casa, mi esposa me encantó su chip y curry y una buena parte de tamaño. Sin embargo fue mi kebab un poco pequeño. Que empujar todo en uno de esos chinos cosas tin cartón de aluminio.

Estado viniendo aquí durante años. Siempre me dan el kebabs. La calidad de la carne y los ingredientes son muy buenos en comparación con otros lugares habituales. Una buena salsa de casa' y no demasiado caro. La única crítica que tengo es que la porción podría ser un poco más grande.

Can't fault any food I have ever got here so so tasty anytime I need food just called in and ordered can't believe I have found a place where you don't wait too long

The best kebab I've ever eaten! Absolutely amazing! It's made with real meat and fresh food. Would really recommend if you would like a proper delicious kebab!
