Hi I’m really disappointed that you have only ONE fryer. My partner is allergic to fish and seafood. As a result she cannot eat anything fried in the same oils as fish and seafood. That means almost anything on your menu served with fries. Also you are stating that dishes are vegan BUT the fries will be cooked in the same oils as meat and fish.

The Perfectionists’ Café at Heathrow Terminal 2 was created by chef Heston Blumenthal, inspired by his TV series and books “In Search of Perfection.” The café embodies his pursuit of reinventing British classics by focusing on improving the dishes continually. The name “Perfectionists’” reflects the belief that while perfection itself is subjective and unachievable, the quest for improvement is endless. Airport food is certainly in need of reinvention and improvement. Most of the time you are overpaying for something you could get at your local cafe for half the price and twice the quality. Same goes here. While it was enjoyable to go to, especially if like me you are a massive fan of Heston, and it is a story: something to say you did while at the airport. Most breakfast baps or rolls at a local UK cafe are better. Hopefully Heston would be proud of that: “Go UK food industry!” I went for the breakfast bun, as I usually do. It came with two sausages, bacon, and a piece of tomato - but on the whole it was dry, and the sausage skin was chewy, so I deconstructed the bun and took the skin off. But this is classic brand Heston, as he is all about surprises, and I was definitely surprised. The French 77 cocktail was part of the Breakfast special. It was nice – the floating cucumber a quirky reminder that I am fancy. I did also really enjoymy post breakfast coffee, so they do that well. There are flashier items on the breakfast menu featuring the usual suspects: avocado, salmon and Eggs Benedict, which I’d probably try next time, if I can get over my fear of ordering hollandaise sauce at an airport. Overall, I’m glad I visited, but if you’re expecting perfection, keep looking - there are better breakfasts, even at Heathrow. This place is definitely a fun stop for Heston fans, and I’ll probably come back to give it another go. I genuinely enjoyed sitting here with my fancy drink, sharing time with the people I love before I long haul flight - so it achieved that goal. Heston’s name always brings with it expectations, but even the funky glasses and Michelin star connected brand can’t make chewy sausage skins and dry eggs fly.

Nice place with good staff and tasty, well-prepared food. What I didn't like was the luke-warm, small coffee, and the sneaky bill. We were charged a "Cover Charge" of £1.50 and a 12.5% "Optional Service Charge" although there was nothing optional about it. Neither of these charges were mentioned on their menu.

We were attracted to the name. Too many covers to be able to provide the advertised service. My wife’s scrambled eggs was cold and just did not look right. The guy next door had ordered the same but did not eat, convinced it was made of powered eggs! Her tea pot was not clean but was taken away to be wiped! I felt sorry for the staff but I don’t think HB has dined at this place.

Food was mediocre. 37 pounds for steak and eggs, steak was barely seasoned and the single egg was laughably small. 14 pounds for a bacon sandwich that is literally just two pieces of toast and two pieces of bacon between them. No sauce, nothing else, just bacon and bread. Overpriced, average service, not worth it.

The waitress who let me into the table seemed grumpy, it took a while for my order to be taken and the food came quickly. Tiki Masala was ok, the tea was a bit thin. After paying, I was given an envelope in which I was supposed to put tips (bills). Since the service wasn't that good, I skipped it - fortunately, because when I looked at the bill more closely later, I discovered that I had been charged the "voluntary tip" of 12.5%, which is attempted Rip off, never again.

Extremely strange behaviour from the hostess at 6:20am on a Monday morning (16 September). Told me they’re not serving at the high counter - and then seated three (white) businessmen there. Also was extremely rude to me and someone sitting next to me. I’m not a picky person but the only reason I needed the high counter was to charge my devices. Food is definitely good. But beware of this mildly unhealthy behaviour from the hostess. It happened twice.

Pretty bad experience - made all the worse considering how much they charge. The bar stools are ripped, our server brought out a wrong dish and argued with us for a minute or two about what we ordered (we pointed at what we ordered on the menu), my food was pretty bland and my partner's was cold (we suspect they took the egg from the "Wrong food" and frankensteined another order because it came out quickly but was cold. The bill had a number of "add-ons" that racked up pretty quickly (like if you sat at a table they charged you more). There are plenty of options for breakfast at Heathrow - at the prices this place charges, avoid this one!

TERRIBLE! Perfect?? Maybe perfect 45 pounds joke! I got welcomed nicely, ordered starter, main and cocktail. I got different drink order which can happen, but i was waiting for the correct drink at least ten minutes. Food has arrived in meantime. I got starter and main together for some reason and when I voiced that I got no apology. Started called mozzarela&cherry tomatoes with pickled onion contained maybe 50gr of smoked mozzarella in 5 thin slices with one halfmoon of pickled onion and rest was Cherry tomatoes. Value was basically below zero and if I would like to have Cherry tomatoes as starter i would have buy them in supermarket for bit different price! Arrabiata pasta was even worse - overcooked cheap quality penne with sauce from can. It was not eatable - I had few bites after adding salt and pepper myself. Ordered Parmesan, that was missing as well. At this point I was very disappointed and drink for 12 pounds did not do service as well. It was just so sweet and full of syrup that it was not drinkable. The worst gin fizz I had in my life. I raised all of these concerns to the waiter that was actually the nicest thing of all this, but her reaction was definitely raising concerns. I said I am not interested in getting discount and do not want to make any drama that I would just like the manager to know, but I never get back sincere apology and I was told I can write review.. that I can write whatever I want. Obviously this is is just there to make money on crappy food since travelers do not have that many seat to table options so there is no reason or need for them to try. but getting guests in under fine dining design and the name that has nothing to do with experience was the worst scam. So here I am writing review, but maybe I should check them before hand, I would go elsewhere if I knew!

Title: Disappointing Experience at The Perfectionist Review: I recently dined at The Perfectionist in Terminal 2, London Heathrow, and I was thoroughly disappointed. Far from the perfectionist standards implied by the name, the food quality and presentation were subpar, especially given Heston Blumenthal's renowned reputation. I ordered the avocado toast, expecting something innovative and well-presented. Instead, I received a very basic dish: good bread with avocado, some tomatoes, and a poached egg. There was no decoration, no creativity, and nothing to justify the high price. The presentation was boring and lacked any distinctive touch that one would expect from a Blumenthal establishment. My partner's eggs Benedict were equally disappointing. The bacon tasted old, and the hollandaise sauce was poorly executed. Not only did it look unappetizing, but it also tasted overwhelmingly of vinegar. The overall presentation was unappealing and far from what we anticipated. Also, I think that they make enough money here to be able to buy new plates that don’t look old and used. We do not recommend dining here. Heston Blumenthal should be ashamed of the food prepared in his name at this restaurant. Save your time and money and find a better dining option elsewhere.

The food and tea is consistent, full breakfast is a good way to revive after a long haul flight and is one of the better cooked meals and as expected at an airport, coffee and eggs could be hotter. Service is prompt, friendly with a quick turn around, prices could be better value for money.

This place gets a shining award for the worst meal I’ve had in my life mixed with a rippoff to boot. Not to miss if that is your objective. I honestly cannot understand why these people, in a prime location of this T2 terminal, seem to be unable to produce a meal that is eatable, I mean simple things, not difficult things to get right. The burger was an absolute disgrace and the ricotta salad was utterly tasteless. It’s a shame people do not complain enough about their lack of quality so a more able establishment could take their place. Also, the poor people serving there don’t have a clue, when they saw we hadn’t eaten the food, they asked us if we did not like it and didn’t even try to understand or ask why when we replied : No …! My biggest criticism is the staff here. 3 of the times I have been, it’s not been good service. It’s very slow and they are not attentive. Only yesterday evening around 4pm I would say is the first time I’ve actually had good service. This is what I think could be improved. Also, another point is the desserts. It’s very weird the cookie and tarts are served cold. I feel like it would have been better served warm. If the staffing was improved, the place would be 5/5 for me, even with the lack of halal options as there are still a few things to order.

Located in T2, this review is for breakfast. Expectations aren’t too high for airport eateries, but The Perfectionists’ Café does a decent job of ticking the boxes ahead of a long travel day. Food: I typically order the Full English, but in this trip I went with the scrambled eggs on toast with the addition of a fried egg (a girl can have whatever she wants). The scrambled eggs are a creamy scramble and delicious if you like it that way. If you want a murdered scramble, don’t do it. Fried egg was equally delicious as you’ll see from the yolk these are farm fresh eggs, and it makes a difference. Service: Efficient and friendly. Not overly attentive due to the volume of travelers in and out, but you’ll typically not have an issue getting someone’s attention when you need something. Cost: It’s an airport folks, but still very reasonable for LHR, and so much better than most US airport eateries in cost and value for money. Space: Try to get a seat overlooking the airport, but otherwise it’s open to the terminal as a whole.

It should be called the passable. Food average and not what you’d expect from a living legend having eaten at his other restaurants this was such a let down. Great Bloody Mary made up for some of it hence the two and not one star but pretty sad.

Didn't realise Heston Blumenthal had a place in Terminal 2. It was very welcome to see and it is excellent quality. Taking the breakfast plate with a bloody Mary and additional mushroom, all the ingredients were cooked to perfection as it says on the tin for the place. All the ingredients were top quality and very tasty, including the salmon. Portion was massive and well worth the money in my view. Service was exceptionally good, friendly, and polite. Food came out almost straight away. Bloody Mary comes with a pipette for extra spice. At 8 a.m., this was welcome to kick the day in properly. Look closely as some meals come with an upgrade for the bloody Mary, which reduces the cost. This is a special treat breakfast for sure, but I would treat yourself if you can. 😋 Thanks for making my morning 🌄

Really enjoyed my breakfast. No point complaining about the price....it's in an airport lol. Friendly staff and service. Seated quickly and served quickly.

Good service, average food, ridiculously overpriced. £30 for small burger and bad chips with a coke.

Burger without taste, margarita full of pelate without cheese. Everything lacks spices and salt. Overpriced, we were left hungry. Service ok, nothing special, no smile. Unfortunately, a £7 tip was charged, frankly unnecessary, I don't know why they don't ask before charging.

A very pleasant and nice end to our London trip. We were immediately welcomed and assigned to a place that was very suitable for us. The prices are a little higher than usual in the city center, but this is probably due to the airport. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good and you have a nice view over Terminal 2

Very disappointed, £9.95 for a bacon sandwich, which was literally two slices of bacon in white sliced bread. Which was stale. Then tried to add service charge to my bill. Would not recommend

Decent, but not amazing place. The egg benedict tastes good, but the eggs were not pouched very well. My girlfriend had pancakes and the portion size was very small. Overall mediocore experience for a quite expensive price. The waiters were friendly tho and the place looks nice

Had two pizzas, two pastas and a steak sandwich. The noodles were edible and there was nothing wrong with them. The pizzas were completely soft and never again. Please go to another business for this money!!!!!

The waiter here was lovely, seeing that I hadn't eaten my steak when collecting the plate, he asked me if it was good. I told him it was very over seasoned and I ate what I could. I'm not a complainer, but why ask if you're then not going to do anything about the fact that the £36 steak that arrived pre sliced and tasted more salty than sea water was quite honestly the worst steak I've ever had. A glass of wine off the bill would have been enough to not give this review.

Borderline raw hamburger when I ordered medium well. The steak had some kind of fake butter spray on it. It was really tasting like chemicals and smelt bad. I've had a lot of steaks, this has to be one of the worst. The Nicoise Salad was just basic and the French fries were OK. We couldn't believe our bill of 154 pounds. It was like a kick in the pants. Having the name "The Perfectionists'" is risky and a tall order. Fair warning: This rest does not live up to its name. Try somewhere else. Far from perfection!

The cafeteria is well-maintained, providing a pleasant and clean environment for customers. The service is impressively fast, making it a convenient choice if you're in a hurry and looking for a quick meal before heading out. During my visit, I decided to try the granola, berries, and Greek yogurt combination. While the overall taste was decent, I noticed that the granola was quite hard and lacked freshness, although it wasn't terrible.

the Good: Our waiter Archie was very attentive, food came very fast, my Bailey’s latte was a vibe and a half, my girlfriend enjoyed the baby knives the Bad: We had to wait five minutes to receive our table, even though we saw four tables available the entire time we were waiting the Ugly: NO MUFFINS on my eggs royale, not very royal at all, compounding this was the fact that the lady next to me received hers WITH real, scrumptious muffins not even twenty minutes later, didn’t seem like they had much of a supply issue in the end, the rascals. I expect a bit more from a place that titles itself ‘the Perfectionist’s Cafe,’ in the end the only perfectionist visibly present was our waiter.

There are limited "British" food options at the airport. I've been here a few times and I have to remind myself to go elsewhere next time. PRO: - IF (big IF) you can get a seat overlooking the airport, it's a plus CON: - Fish & Chips with Panko? NO! - Overpriced - Slow service & not friendly SUMMARY: I have been there a couple of times and unfortunately it's the same bad service coupled with so-so food. Writing this is to remind me to eat elsewhere

The food is alright for an airport. However even though its very much normal accross the country, the VAT in this case is not included on the menu and neither displayed anywhere. And that is simply unacceptable and impolite at best.

Water's Edge Ruislip Don't use this restaurant unless you are prepared for a nasty aftertaste weeks later when you are sent a parking ticket. Despite paying a hefty fee to park in their car park (£8.50 for a few hours), weeks, possibly over a month later I was sent a parking ticket demanding £85 pounds stating - my car was not authorised to park at this car park. No signs visible on way into car park, or when paying to park. No notice stating AUTHORISED VEHEICLES ONLY - anywhere clearly visible. THIS IS A SCAM and should not be allowed. The DVLA should be ashamed of themselves for facilitating this type of operation. Here we have a business preying on those people unfamiliar with the rigmarole necessary to park in their car park and not get a ticket.
