The Perfect Scoop in Fife

Honestly The Perfect Scoop is just a wee gem--some of the best ice cream we've ever had. My partner got the doughnuts with dipping sauce and they were out of this world. Would recommend going out to East Wemyss especially for this place--100% worth it.

This is a really busy shop, obviously for a reason, with a good selection of flavours and treats to buy. The donuts are nice with dipping sauce and it's a nice touch the when eating in the kids get a cool bowl and spoon too

The ice cream is delicious, with a great choice of flavours which is always changing. Lovely cheesecake too. TAKE CASH if spending under £5! This isn't clear until you pay at the till. Usual friendly staff were pretty rude, when I realised that I only had my debit card. This set up with cash is very behind the times. With no cash machine near either. Sort it out Perfect Scoop

Fantastic wee place. Nipped in after seeing a travel vlog of the area. Dog friendly too so we could sit in out of the wind with our foxhound. Pannini and Pizza were delicious and filling but always leave space for dessert in a place like this. Had a melt with prize winning vanilla ice cream and it didn't disappoint.

Excellent service from friendly staff, lovely choice of ice creams, weren't wanting cake today but will return for cake and coffee soon. Parlour was clean and tidy.

It's Autumn , darker evenings and Hot Food is back on the menu at The Perfect Scoop. We stopped in for tea tonight and had pizza. I can recommend the spicy chicken one. They have a really nice Italian stone baked pizza base and a nice selection of toppings. Of course it would have been rude to just leave without having ice cream. Also available are freshly made donuts with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Great ice cream and from looking at others waffles and donuts! A bit of a queue but seeing other reviews I suggest you just have to chill (like the ice cream) and use this time to constantly change your views on what you may choose. Large portion sizes, and not the cheapest but in line with the home made, tasty, and range of flavours. I’ll divert to find this place again!!

Very very slow service for items that are extremely overpriced, £7 for 2 ice cream cones is ridiculous. Serving staff are not wearing any gloves or masks and are handling money then handling the food products without washing hands. Despite signs all over the shop warning of social distancing measures and only 8 people allowed in the shop at once the owner is actively encouraging as many people to line up inside the shop as possible encouraging everyone to "Squeeze up". There is very limited seating outside the shop and the owner decided to go out and take up 4 chairs and a table to have his own lunch at which obviously is limiting the seating even more for the customers. Surely as an owner you would recognise that you shouldn't do that? All in all very poor service, overpriced and completely conflicting social distancing measures.

Passed here today and decided to stop when we seen it was open, no signs outside saying one person in the store at a time, went in and was rudely told to wait outside but accepted that in the current situation, the man infront of me in the store was having issues with payment, they were only accepting cash but again no notice of that up. When it was eventually my turn they wouldn’t take my order as I hadn’t phoned despite the fact they just told me to wait and also had their doors open looking like they were indeed open. If the service had been a little better rather than blunt and rude I’d of just accepted it giving the circumstances however I don’t believe the rudeness can be justified.

I’m a regular visitor, great selection of ice cream and sorbets- they even started selling this in 2.5 Ltr tubs as well as their standard polystyrene trays. Their cheesecake is to die for!! We have even used this for several birthday cakes!! The white chocolate and Mango is VERY MOORISH! Not had any food yet, but observed several clean plates returned - so not a bad sign. Great to support local companies- even better when they scoop runner up in Scottish Icecream Championships. Rewards programme when you spend over £5/ transaction- alway love a bargain! I will be back.

My wife and I cannot pass the Perfect Scoop when driving through East Wemyss as the ice cream is to die for,with such a great variety of different flavours you are spoilt for choice and it has to be the best value in Scotland. When we visited recently it was close to our evening meal time so we decided to have a meal and we were not disappointed, I had a Wagu burger with chips and coleslaw and my wife had loaded chips in a spicy cheese sauce followed by a couple of scoops of delicious ice cream. All beautifully presented and good value.

Popped in here yesterday after reading some rave reviews on facebook and wow were they right! I had 3 scoops- raspberry sorbet, raspberry ripple and dairy milk caramel and they were all absolutely delicious and the scoops were huge! Can't recommend enough and we will definately be back!

This is the best ice cream ever. You have to try It they have won awards and you can taste why. My only complaint is I can’t get enough and my waist line is suffering.

An amazing choice of ice creams that change regularly. Been here three times over the summer and not been disappointed yet. Can highly recommend this place.

Had been told how nice the ice-cream is so thought we’d give it a try. Flavoured ice cream, Scottish tablet and Raspberry Pavlova very nice. Vanilla mmmm wasn’t so keen on. However would like to-try other flavours so will be back.

Difficult to choose from all of the flavours on offer. Offered a taster. They were all good, but the a Star bar one was exceptional. Extremely helpful staff. Very highly recommended.

Took the family for a treat, we all enjoyed our ice creams , staff were friendly and very helpful , limited parking but managed would recommend although a bit expensive .
