Superb gluten free afternoon tea. Also amazing vegan and gluten free options. We had a baby shower for 20 at the potting shed and afternoon tea to follow outside at the pear tree pantry

Fantastic place to stop and have a drink or maybe something to eat. Great prices for drinks. I always come here when taking the dog for a walk round cannonhall.

This is my new favourite place to visit on walks round cannon hall...just what you need at the top of the hill cake & a nice coffee & this place does not disappoint 😀 my little girl loves it too.

Wet day at Cannon Hall Museum but they have covered seating! Fabulous array of snacks and cakes, all reasonably priced. Staff friendly and eager to please. I was recommended the vegan roll ( I'm not vegan) and was not disappointed..just wish I'd but a couple to take home! Cakes yummy and good coffee too. So much better than the Cannon Hall Farm catering across the road!!

We had a a very pleasant stop here today for tea and cake during our walk around the lovely grounds of Cannon Hall. Luckily the sun was shining and we could make use of the outdoor seating adjacent to the walled garden. The staff at the Pear Tree Pantry are so friendly and helpful and the home made cakes are to die for. I definitely can recommend the Pumpkin and ginger cake. Can't wait to visit again.

An absolutely lovely cafe in Cannon Hall with brilliant staff, great little seating area, and a good range of food. Really good prices and caters for vegetarians with a small number of vegan options. They had a huge range of teas and both the tea and coffee tastes lovely. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that I would like to see more vegan options and less disposable plates and cups — I noticed they were Vegware which is good but ideally would just have reusable things, especially for easy swaps like cutlery which could be reusable without too much to wash up. Also, would be great if condiments were not in the individual sachets and were just bottles that people could use to minimise waste😊 However, I’m really pleased with our visit and will be returning!

Great little place to enjoy coffee and food within the grounds of Canon Hall Farm. Staff very friendly and courteous, especially Paul who we chatted to whilst he kept the beautiful courtyard clean. A tranquil place to unwind whilst visiting Canon Hall Farm, made more amazing by the sunshine .

Popped out for lunch with the family and great service again. Great for catering for the small customers too

Recently opened at Cannon Hall adjacent to the walled Garden . We have been several times now and had nice food and a cuppa. Owners Clive and Terri are friendly as are all the other staff. Cafe is tucked away under the archways seating outside (some covered) and small alcoves under cover . Parking is cheap in main car park (Barnsley Council) £1 for 2hours and then 5mins walk Definitely worth a look and good prices too ! More tables and chairs now to enable more customers to sit out ( some with umbrellas ) . They will make food not on the menu for you if they have the ingredients !

Makes really nice tasty coffee, better than any of the other coffee shops in the area. Prices are really good and staff so friendly. Will definitely return.

Very well priced, excellent quality, friendly service. Had the quiche in a salad box, with cheeeecake for afters. Very, very good.
