The Orient Public House in Liverpool

Nice place and great staff. We were there on a Tuesday night so the place was empty. The food was good but I expected better. The quality of the food was the same as or in some cases not as good as my local restaurants. I guess I just expected something more. This reads a bit negative but there were no negatives to our experience.

usually order here and to be honest it usually turns up 30 mins or so late but i can forgive that every time because the food is great but today I placed an order at 10:15pm I sit here writing this at 12:07 am, still having not received any food, even though the order was accepted, pitty this is what i have to write about this place, I fear now I'll be paying for that food that I didn't even get, especially since I've been a happy and loyal customer for a while now Update and more so why you shouldn't write reviews while emotionally charged, turns out it was a deliveroo issue not brunos, unfortunately this is my mistake, still love the food here, recommend

Sour beef (beef curry) Singapore vermicelli full of dry pieces of ham covered in soy sauce .. worse vermicelli I've had to date .. Chips hard Omelette made from dried egg powder again its a special Omelette but full of this dried sliced ham not much els ... we all left most of this food on the plates and binned ... £30 down the drain !!

The staff are amazing especially the young lady Indy, food is absolutely fantastic 10/10 would recommend
