I've had food from other Chinese restaurants but the Orient is by far the best 👌

Never fails to sort the hungry East Bunch absolute belter wee Chinese Curry is yummmm. 🥢🥤🍴As is the rest off their menu 5☆☆☆☆☆ always from my crew 😋 👌

Delivery was early which was a good surprise as it was a Friday evening. The delivery driver was very pleasant. The food was excellent- tasty and hot. Excellent service 👍🏻

barely any chicken in the dishes and quite small servings

Food was bland. Beef was tough and anaemic. Been ordering from here for 20+ years, slowly going down hill I feel. May have to move on.

The chicken on the skewers was soggy and squidgy. Beef dish was ok but a bit chewy. The satay sauce was nice.

Driver couldn't find me but he called to sort it and not his fault. Food was quite nice...warm enough, light not gloopy ... couldn't say if it was Szechuan as ordered or not, certainly not spicy... combination and had 3 prawns. Jury out

Disgrace. Evident by the reviews. Curry was like water, meat was like rubber, bland and tasteless. Called to complain and faced with an extreme rude, ignorant, uncaring, belligerent and aggressive woman who is apparently the owner. Stated that the customer is wrong and she is right and otherwise implied I was lying and slammed phone down. Won't be back. Please stay away and see all other reviews clearly a trend. Zero care anymore for customers or standards.

Really bad food. Stale, cold & burnt. Seems too be old foud recooked in old oil.

Special Fried Rice was perfect. Salted chips are amazing. Soft noodles were delicious. I’m never disappointed when I order from The Orient, it’s always a 10/10 for me.

Absolutely outstanding food arrived on time absolutely roasting hot and everything beautiful!

Food was cold when delivered. Chips were over cooked and had black scabby bits on them. salt and chilli chicken was all stuck together. Definitely not the nicest, had much better before from there.

Ordered the breast of chicken in spicy sauce. When you've to hunt for the chicken, that's unacceptable, plenty veg and peppers though!

Ordered Fried Rice with Curry Sauce from this establishment 2 nights ago. Was very sick after eating it. Possible food poisoning. Would be reluctant to order from it again.

I've never had chicken have the texture of a thicc soup... I got the satay skewers and it was just fatty really really soft chicken.. super weird texture was vile

Third time I've had from the orient and every time the food has been lovely big portions and very tasty.

Delicious food and arrived hot and on time. The sweet and sour was lovely, as was the cashew nut pork. Rice and noodles were also great. Have ordered before and would order again.

Food arrived so quickly and was delicious! Salted chilli prawns were unreal and the Thai spiced thick noodles were soooo good. A must try!!

Food was inedible. Curry was a weird consistency, everything was so over fried it was soggy with oil. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Ate here regularly the past couple years but the past couple meals have been awful and won’t be back. Possible food poisoning from their rice, 2 of us ate the rice and got sick, 1 just had chips and wasn’t sick. Won’t be back.

Ordered honey chilli shredded chicken…. Got sweet and sour or whatever that was but it tasted absolutely awful! Soft noodles tasted old and disgusting… Thanks for bad stomach cramps and possible food poisoning… No idea how anyone can serve this type of food definitely won’t be back!

I ordered the kung po chicken and it was delicious! Plus ordered it for asap, said it would be an hour and arrived within 20 mins! Delighted!

This chinese has been a favourite of ours for years. Unfortunately this time it was disappointing. Missing items and very bland flavours. Hopefully just a one off

Shockingly bad quality. Said would refund but didn't. Was still hungry. Sauce tasteless and watery, no chicken, all batter. Gave sweet and sour sauce instead of hot and sour soup

Quality food great value prompt delivery.

Lovely food at a good price, my only gripe is they don't do any seafood dishes other than prawn which is my normal go to. Get some mixed seafood on the go or at least squid and it would be a solid 5 stars.

Curry chip was very small and sauce was dried in King prawn fried rice only had 7 very small prawns Spring rolls very greasy and tasteless Spent £25 and not even prawn crackers free Food went in bin. Was awful

I've ordered from The Orient for years but in my opinion it's went way down hill. The Chicken was inedible. So disappointed and won't be ordering from them again after a few below average orders.

Food is hit and miss as I find with most chinese take aways u will always have ur fav dish and for me its the salted chilli chicken in here that I always go back for ! The owners seem lovely always pleasant when u go in.

Delivery time not the the problem! Only four bits of beef in meal!!!! Not happy!!!

Food was lovely....curry sauce was top class bit I ordered a special curry not an onion curry...very disappointed with how much char sui,prawns ,chicken etc was in the curry...and I only had bolied rice with it which costs penny's so would've expected more costs in the curry apart from onions
