Pizza Express in Belfast

Lovely experience on Boxing Day. Food was gorgeous and staff were extremely friendly. I couldn’t take my eyes of a couple who were being extremely awkward (& rude!) for the staff - but I was impressed by the how professional the staff remained. We are always guaranteed a delicious meal at this Pizza Express!

As a gluten free person ive been coming to this exact pizza express for about two years i know almost all the waiters and waitresses names and they know my exact order ive never had a disappointing meal everything is absolutely delicious. Only complaint is the gf doughball portions could be bigger as there so good!! Will never stop coming to pizza express! Even when abroad in england or scotland we always find a pizza express and it never EVER and i mean EVER has disappointed us. Love love and love

Good food, great service and a newly refreshed interior made for a lovely evening meal. Food was served hot and fast, service was friendly.

Ordered off just eat and they kept changing and delaying my delivery time for a plain margarita pizza until 3 Hours. Just won’t ever bother with them again - would not recommend getting a delivery unless you’re planning dinner at lunchtime

none these place cook the food proper the literal bare minimum cooking time in order to save about 0.0001p in cooking time like literally just cook your foods proper

Pizza, bruschetta & garlic bread were cold & soggy. Delivery was 2hrs late. Pasta was very nice however. Definitely won't be ordering again, especially as it's so much more expensive than most pizza places. Such a disappointment!

Food was cold. Paid near £6 for a very small portion of chips and they were freezing cold. Pizza didn’t have much flavour.

Had a terrible experience. I paid £17 and got more of a 'baby' pizza than a regular one. It also came almost cold and not properly cut. The dough was horrible, way far from the quality that you'd expect from a 'restaurant' charging such high prices. For £17+delivery fee You'd expect at least a 1-kilo pizza, not a miniature that leaves you still hungry and quite disgusted. A total rip-off. I won't be ordering from here again. Never again!!!

Typically if a restaurant suggests you add on a specific side, then the side comes and it's disgusting and hence you don't eat any and put the side plate to the side... and they ask, and you say you didn't like it, typically they take it off the bill?

Completely wrong order! Driver didn’t wait around to check the code we were given. Incorrect order!! Waited an hour and now no food or drink. Terrible

The food is cold and the driver delivering the food was rude kept going a different way from what I was telling him on the phone therefore I had to stand in the cold waiting for my food while I could see my driver driving in circles

Told to come back in half an hour as kitchen couldn't cope with any more tables. Restaurant was half full and plates hadn't been cleared. Asked to book for half an hour and were told we didn't need to. Not impressed with one crying child.

Super delicious pizzas with balanced taste and flavours, dessert chocolate fudge cake with scoop of ice-cream is a must, Italian lemonade soft drink is very refreshing. This restaurant has always delivered a friendly service for all whether couples or families and friends. A real treat - have been visiting Pizza Express on Lisburn Road for years now and have always been nicely surprised by their selection of supertasty pizzas and excellent service. Thank you 😊!

The pizza is delicious as always and I thank you for delivering it so late.

I ordered at 5.55pm and delivery was suggested as before 6.35. By 7.15 the estimated time of delivery stopped refreshing. At 7.30 I drove to collect it myself. 7.50 the delivery time refreshed again and at just after 8.15 the app notified me that driver had just delivered!!! Shocking service. Won’t be using just eat in Belfast ever again!!

paid £5.35 for 16 halloumi fries! so dear for so little

Pretty poor food. While service is great and restaurant was busy the premises look a little tired and the food was mediocre. Starters were good, but bland pasta dish and very (too) thin pizza bases.

Great food, awful service. Only two tables in the whole restaurant occupied and it took 20 minutes to get served and another 20 to get the bill.

Went for lunch on Wednesday lunchtime - a group of 9 of us. Had a brilliant waitress meet us and hold the door. All orders were perfect. Everyone was very happy with the food and brilliant service. Everything was clean. Will be back! Great team in there!

Horrendous assortment of pizzas delivered via Deliveroo this evening. Dried out, cold and inedible! These pizzas were cooked long before the delivery driver turned up to collect them. What a waste of money.

My food was freezing. The driver refused to drive into my gated community despite me opening the gates for him three times. I had to walk out to the end of the road and collect it. The driver still didn’t get out of the car, I approached his car and he gave me my food through the passenger window. He was very difficult. I would like a full refund as I am very unhappy with my order. I have contacted the restaurant directly and complained about my food, the order was wrong and the food was freezing- unable to eat.

Food arrived - 1 of the pizzas I ordered was missing toppings (it only had pepperoni) and the pizzas were soggy. One of the kids pizzas all the toppings had slid off the top as it had been placed sideways in the box

Pizzas must have been thrown into the delivery box, the toppings weren't even on the pizzas when they arrived, instead they were stuck to the top and sides of the box. Inedible. Paid £31 for nothing

Great selection of delicious pizza. Restaurant was very loud at times and a bit cramped. Overall recommended.

Firstly, ruined my doughballs by drenching them in this chilli, usually they only add a bit, the doughballs are smothered and soggy(you can't even see them in the sauce lmao) . Secondly, didn't give me the honey dip.... They're literally called honey doughballs. Thank uuuuu

Was delivered very quickly and the pizza is great. Didnt receive the chicken wings I ordered though so lost out on £6.50 with no why to explain that on Just Eat app.

The driver refused to get out of the car to deliver my order. The dough balls were missing from My order. I was advised that the driver had taken these.

Unfortunately the restaurant was packed so I was glad we booked. However it was very noisy as a result and service was slow because they were so busy. Food was pretty good as always and prices make it a great choice for an easy night out

Food was nice and ended up cheap as used my Tesco vouchers. Carbonara was tasty and kids loved their pizza. Portions were really big too. Service started off really good. Our waitress was nice and friendly but then things slipped as it got busier with only 2 servers working on the floor.

Flying visit on a busy Friday night. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Our pizzas arrived quickly and were well cooked and well topped. No complaints at all. We'll certainly be back.

Chicken was 3 tiny pieces of chicken for £8.. was pretty bad as well. The dough balls weren’t as good as they usually are either. Pizza was ok. Probably wouldn’t order from here again

It came up saying delivered which it was not. I sat waiting over an hour for it not to turn up, restaurant didn’t try and sort it just told me contact just eat which you also cannot do because there is no number.

So bad, it shows delivered but we didn’t get anything and even a phone call!

I ordered pizza with high expectations but was disappointed. Had much better pizza in and around Belfast. Lemon and herb chicken was good. Polenta chips was soggy and not crispy. Smoky BBQ chicken pizza hardly had any chicken and cheese was so limited. Margarita pizza was average.

The waitress that served us at 4pm today, really didn't want to be there. If she put more time into her job than playing on the phone this review might have been different. No smile, didn't feel welcome and we could have got a better service in McDonald's. Food was ok but was totally put off by the service.

Ordered pizza via UberEats and it seems disappointing. Really so much poorer quality than when eating on spot. See photos. Again tried them and even more disappointed. Really avoid ordering on Ubereats.

Vegan American hot arrived with no jackfruit pepperoni (probably the most vital ingredient), and a time I ordered before got an entirely different pizza to what I asked for. Everything also cold. When you're paying in excess of 40 pounds for an order a bit of attention being paid by your staff would be appreciated.

So, first thing the staff are very good. Our server was great. Upon entry the place looked vibrant and not busy but people were there eating. However, asking for a table of 2 saw us banished right up to the very outside window corner where you would normally put screaming kids. We sat in a desert of nothing listing to canned music with poor lighting. The starters were ok, the prawn dish was light on prawns and heavy on tomatoes , the calimari was given the thumbs up. Onto the mains. No fries. Who doesn’t do fries. Why no fries. We ordered the polenta ( very London) fries. Tbh the pizzas when they arrived were tired looking. Sort of like when you reheat pizza the next day. They looked and tasted as if they had been cooked a few hours earlier then reheated. Now onto the polenta fries. Horrible, tasteless and looking around the restaurant there were plates of polenta fries untouched, sitting neglected by everyone, even kids. No tomato ketchup. If you’re going to serve those polenta fries at least do ketchup. I don’t want passata, I want ketchup. So overall, service was great but food wasn’t great. Maybe I got them on a bad day but for £56 for 2 they could do a lot better.

Ordered and said pizza would arrive between 18.15 and 18.35. Didn’t arrive until 19.00. Pizza was cold and burnt. My son was not impressed and neither was I. Very disappointed

Great driver, good food, on time and my first gluten free pizza. Toppings were spot on but for my first gluten free pizza the taste and texture leaned towards a pancake mix. Still good just not regular pizza good but my stomach etc are super happy :-).

It was my first time in the restaurant. I came in and everyone was busy. There was many available seats so I chose one and after few seconds one of the waiters came and said n a very rude way “ you should wait before choosing to set” I was upset because of the way he spoke to me especially I waited for them but they where busy and also there was many available seats.

I mean - you know what you're getting with Pizza Express 🍕 That's why you come! (On the off chance you don't know, it a very good, reliable pizzeria and it's been around for more than 50 years because of that.) This branch is lovely - and the welcoming staff are so cheerful they really make it it stand out and special. We really enjoyed ourselves 😊🤗

Was in yesterday family of six food was lovely we did order a salad that didn't arrive but this didn't matter as the staff were brilliant very friendly and helpful. 100% will be back
