Wow! Visited Old Rectory House with friends for a Sunday roast dinner in the Orangery. I had soup for my starter, followed by a beautiful roast chicken dinner then homemade chocolate brownie and ice cream. Everything was delicious. The building is grand and the service perfect. The Sunday lunch is only available through out through out the winter months so get yourself booked in!

Fantastic venue for a wedding. The owners made my son & daughter in laws dreams turn into reality.

Great team, all very welcoming. Nicely served Sunday lunch which was delicious. Very hot day but cool in the pretty conservatory. If the chairs were more comfortable I would have given 6 stars out of 5 🌟 We relaxed with drinks outside after dinner under the shaded tent in the pretty gardens. Lovely afternoon.

Went for Sunday lunch today, June 18th, 2023, we couldn’t fault the food it was hot and presented well, and quickly brought to the table, service was excellent by caring staff. We were lucky enough to book a take a way Sunday Lunch for five. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. We all thought it was value for money and will use the service again without hesitation.

Brilliant staff party, we had a staff party here with live djs, food, alcohol and the staff were brilliant! So helpful, friendly and would do anything! Highly recommend!

I couldn’t fault the food. Everyone had an excellent meal and there was 12 very clean plates. The roast was outstanding. booked this for my birthday celebrations for 12 people and the room was a good size with a nice atmosphere. The decor was a little tired but that didn’t take away from the time that we had. I would definitely do this again for a larger party for Sunday lunch, the children were able to run around the room without disturbing anyone!

Had the most delicious Sunday lunch today. Staff were friendly and attentive. The Orangery is such a hidden gem, nestled in Ipsley, surrounded by beautiful gardens. One of our favourite places for a family get-together. Can't wait to visit again soon.

I hosted a baby shower in one of the private function rooms and I can’t recommend the experience enough. The afternoon tea was fantastic as was the service. We had the room for several hours plus extra time for setting up and packing away. The location is great, a ‘hidden gem’. Will definitely be back in future.

I have long loved and often visited The Orangery, a hidden gem tucked away in a lovely setting and never had a bad meal. Today was my first time going for Sunday Lunch and it was the best Sunday Lunch I have ever eaten out. No complaints whatsoever.

Attended family wedding at the weekend and stayed overnight. Fabulous place tucked away in an ideal setting. Ceremony took place outside in the secluded gardens and was perfect. The scrumptious wedding breakfast took place inside in the romantically decorated Orangery. Lisa and her team looked after us extremely well and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion. Special thanks to Lisa (of course), barman Rick, Fiona and Dom.

Lovely food and friendly staff but the one thing that did put me off was that some customers were walking around with no mask on. Especially the customers coming from outside to use the toilets and the staff didn’t say anything to them.
