Lovely boozer I was playing darts in last night. Football on all screens, nice friendly staff, fire on. However I must point out that the pint of Guinness was exceptional, as you can see from the photos. If you are in the area pop in to see John and Marie for the finest Guinness in London!!

Cute restaurant, nice food and atmosphere. However the person who show us our table were rude and he said we should take the table in front of the door. There was lots of available tables and he did this to us because some of us wearing hijabs. This was so uncomfortable for us, we didn’t experience such thing for a long time in London. So sad.

Indeed a lovely public house. Friendly helpful staff, tasty menu, varied selection of alcoholic & soft drinks + a large garden where we once again enjoyed our lunch. There are also large TV screens featuring news and live local football club games. It is also situated nearby to good transport links. + a large Sainsburys ! We're looking forward to our next visit to this great establishment.

Coming here for over 20 years! Absolutely lovely and traditional old backstreet boozer. Great landlord and family plus decent punters. Great garden and flowers, great food. update - now been coming here for 24 years! Still as good as it always was.

We just had Sunday lunch here, the food was fab, total value for money and they certainly did not scrimp on the portions. Well worth a visit

I'm part of darts a team so I'm there every other week on a Wednesday night the beer is good and they serve us great snacks they also have a food menus and they do Sunday lunch

We were at a funeral wake. Food was ok not many seats little bit small but was ok.

A lovely pub staff were lovely and friendly. They have a lovely outdoor sitting which can be booked for communions.

27th august went there with my partner to watch the arsenal/fullham game.. prior to arriving i had made a phone call to book a table there and was told they were fully booked and was open for regulars only and was told to try the broadway or the three wishes and basically it was left there but something told me to still go as its a pub and should be open to the public.. spent £11 to get there and upon arrival we noticed there was 8 people in the pub and there was 6 empty tables … anyways… ordered at least £30 of drinks… when the match came to half time we proceeded to go out for a smoke and the bar lady presumed we were leaving for good and said bye… so we felt unwelcome from that point on… came back enjoyed the second half.. and went for a walk and as i am Type 1 Diabetic i needed a diet drink .. came back to the pub to play pool and we were playing.. finished a game and was about to set up another and i moved my handbag which was near my diet drink, the land lady whom was not present throughout the entire time we were there than looked over and saw my drink and asked me where i had got it from and assumed we just walked in with our own drinks off the street and decided to play pool.. when trying to calmly explain myself she said she doesnt care and we must give our drinks to her like we’re children… we decided to leave as she didn’t understand we already spent £40 in drinks and snacks and treated us absolutely horribly and even asked me if i was the person she had spoken to on the phone.. very ignorant.. i am turkish and my partner is black Caribbean… i have no idea what her issue was but i suffer with anxety and depression .. rarely get out and couldn’t believe this.. she made me feel absolutely small and im 33 with a 14 year old daughter… avoid this pub if your not English white as i sense strong racism from them… such a shame as I went school in the local area and the governor was so welcoming at our previous visit to the pub…

This has to be one of the best traditional pubs I've visited in a very long time, tucked away in a very quite location and has its locals that have been visiting over the years.. The feel of the place is one of cosiness and comfort, not too loud and has a large beer garden; and is renowned for its Guinness & has won multiple rewards for it. Customer service is absolutely beautiful thanks to John 👏🏼 5* Would recommend based on a purely brilliant overall experience, and I'll be back one day to try the Sunday Roast 👍🏼

Pub serves a lovely Sunday Roast and interior is Old Skool. A good pub to watch GAA and off the busy roads. Staff are nice and theres a nice beer garden at the back

UTTER DISGRACE! Sadly I had to give it one star in order to offer an HONEST review,had there been a minus star button, I'd give it a huge minus. This building is stunning but sadly there is ends. Today Good Friday I thought ok, the food is formatted ( meaning that if you order a burger it MUST be well done,as the food comes in already cooked and in my opinion is vile) And so we get to the bar, we stand there and 10 minutes pass and the man behind the bar says ' Gonna be ages 'No ' hello or I'm sorry' and zero explanation. Now maybe it was a surprise that it was a sunny day and a Bank Holiday? The prices they charge in there are over the top so why lose customers? I simply do not get how this business stays open. Every year I pray someone takes it over. Finally, I am not the type to slate a restaurant on social media buy this is me being polite! Please feel free to go but at your peril. Rant over.

Pros; Guinness is decent Cons; Very family unfriendly. Was refused service in the afternoon with my wife as we had our baby (who was fast asleep), which is technically discriminatory and illegal. Bar man cited covid rules (we’re very careful to follow the rules, we’re one house hold of 3 and had already given track and trace info, so it was just a made up excuse which infuriated me more, would have rather he just said I don’t like babies!) Anyway won’t be returning to this local which is fine as there are loads of better, friendly, welcoming options in the area anyway (Dog and Duck it is from now!) Cheers

Good local pub that pours a decent pint however not great on anti covid measures, no one way system, side entrance to garden closed so have to go through pub and no table service, also no details taken in case of outbreak, shame really as lovely little local but doesn't feel safe.

This place hardly deserves a one star, me and 3 friends came to the pub to watch the NLDN derby and was refused entry cause apparently its 'regulars only' when there was only a few people in there! I'm hoping the colour of our skin had nothing to do with this and it was just a coincidence. Will not be visiting this establishment again!

Beautiful old fashioned pub in secluded area off the main road. Lovely welcoming owners. Decent pool table and small, non-intrusive screens for sport. Fireplace keeps you warm in the winter. Fairly large and well kept garden area, great for hosting small gatherings in the summer months!

It is a proper old fashioned pub. A relatively chilled atmosphere. Pool table and a lovely pub garden when weather is nice. A really nice pub.

Was looking forward to coming here. First time for a while that I've walked into a pub and people stopped talking, though. Musty, dark, tatty pub, with three real ales on - one Greene King IPA, one some rebadged "Orange Tree" ale, leaving only one of any interest. Quiet old men sit at the bar, staring at pints. For a pint of real ale and a packet of crisps, was charged an eye-watering £5.10. I'll not be back.

Superb traditional pub, beer always excellent. Weekday lunch and Sunday lunch outstanding. fun quiz every other Thursday. Strongly recommended.
