We enjoyed a festive night out here as a large, lively group of friends during the Christmas holidays. The service at the bar from Shaun and Alessandro in particular was super efficient and super friendly which resulted in us staying much longer than we had initially intended.

Had some great lunch with my wife as per usual, staff friendly and attentive to our needs.

Came here on a night out in Aberdeen. Food was good with a low wait time and a good selection of drinks. Very friendly and helpful staff especially one of the barmen Allesandro

Needed food on "mad Friday" around 6. Options limited but tried here and yes a bit loud downstairs from the "I've been drinking since 1pm" crowd who now think they're Micheal Baubly but staff great, food excellent, good prices, what's not to like...

Really poor service and the food was… edible? Sort of? Didn’t get any sauces we ordered for the steak and the food was lukewarm. Not ideal!

Great place with good service and free pool on Mondays

We had our hockey clubs Christmas dinner here and everything was amazing the staff were so lovely and attentive and the food was delicious!! 😋 🎄

It's a Greene king pub, so expect a wide variety of beers and cocktails on tap. The outside beer garden gets the sun in the afternoon, but beware of the slope and wonky seats. Inside looks OK, if you like to watch a small TV in a booth then this is the place for you. Update: The end of November was mental with Christmas parties, loud music and hardly any tables or even space to stand. Clearly popular, but the sensory overload is a little too much.

Always enjoy coming here after games and on social nights out with the RGU women’s rugby team! The staff are always welcoming, friendly and accommodating, and there’s a great selection of food to accompany your drink. A great selection of different sports to watch, and it’s even dog friendly!

Got served by Daniel a few weeks ago and his attitude towards his job was very enthusiastic and he was very friendly when serving me. Will definitely be coming back.

We came in with quite a big group but Sean and Sophie were great! Very student friendly - definitely our first choice for where to start nights out in future!

Not enough staff or awareness from the staff as to who was next to be served. Not that many people at the bar so not hard to work out who was next in line. 10 minutes to get served with only 2 people ahead of me. Shockingly bad. Only reason I didn't spend more was the fact I couldn't take the chance of waiting another week to get served.

Had a fantastic time whilst spending Wednesday night here with the RGU women’s rugby club. Fantastic food that came quickly and reasonably priced drinks. Always a great bustling atmosphere with music, and they always have whatever sports in the TV’s. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good night to head to OSH!

Old school house (OSH) is a top notch pub with great atmosphere. Lots of TV's to watch sport and a reasonably priced bar. RGU!!!

Had our first social of the year for RGU basketball at the OSH and had an amazing time!. Great atmosphere and drink selection!!.

Went for lunch on a Saturday and ordered weekly burger. It was so disappointing! No vegetables in the burger at all, just thrown together and barely any cheesy sauce in it! Minimum effort I ordered "sharer" of chicken strips and other stuff and the portion was so small I ate everything myself and still left hungry Utterly disappointing experience and definitely no good value for money

If you’re looking for a place to eat I wouldn’t recommend this place sadly. Showed ourselves to the table and then went to the bar to order because the WiFi wasn’t the best so the app wouldn’t work. There was no one at the bar for a while so had to wait to get served. It was a Sunday so wanted to get a roast, preferably the beef and turkey duo but there was no turkey and no roast potatoes so had to go for the beef and was given mash instead. We also asked for a jug of tap water which never arrived, the staff member just told us they’d get it and didn’t so we had to ask someone else. The food wasn’t great. The chef was super stingy with it, there was 1 (ONE!!) slice of beef, 3 peas and a few carrots and I paid extra for a pig in blanket which was burnt to a crisp. The food wasn’t good. Still hungry we got dessert. The ice cream was melted when the dessert arrives and the waitresses don’t bring cutlery until after they’ve given us our food so it’s melted even more. It wasn’t anything special. Also the bar had no straws and as someone who likes to protect their teeth, a bar should have straws tbh. Then the toilets were absolutely appalling. I can only comment on the ladies which was really dark, the lighting seemed to have been super dim, halve the doors were broken and there was no hot water in the taps. This place is cheap and not so cheerful. If you’re looking for a place to get a pint and watch the game then fine but I wouldn’t recommend it for food. Especially not a roast dinner. You can go to Toby Carvery or even another chain and get a real carvery where they don’t give you one measley slice of beef. It’s dog friendly which was only plus. Disappointed tbh.

I feel there wasn't a variety of hot drinks just espresso on the menu. I understand it's a bar but at the same time we couldn't drink alcohol as one of us is driving and the other is pregnant. The food however was delicious and the staff (just one guy) were friendly. The atmosphere however was not to my liking the music was awful, they do have a nice outside seating as well.

Very slow service and understaffed. Food takes more than an hour to arrive. And they play annoyingly loud music during Euro games.

Very disappointing Sunday lunch. The menu says Roast sirloin served pink. It came as very thick sliced and over cooked. I don't think I have ever had beef cut so thick. It was impossibly chewy, there were no roast potatoes (run out on a Sunday at 1.30pm with only a few customers...why?) Fortunately I got a check back from the server. She seemed to almost be expecting the complaint ! Before I'd finished saying that the meat was tough, she was taking my plate away and offering a refund. So I got my money back, no suggestion of offering an alternative meal. I like Greene King pubs, generally, but this one really let the side down.

I'm from Canada. Gave these guys 20 pounds and they gave me change as if I gave them 10. Asked them about it and they said I was wrong. I only had 20's in my wallet? Yall are some scam artists. Shame on you.

Went along with a friend I haven’t seen in a while to watch the final day of the Premier League as it’s always been a great place to watch sport, purchased some good food and beverage, most of the staff were lovely.. apart from what I can only describe as “The Guardian of the Sky remote” who decided to spite opposition fans by switching over all of the tvs to show just one of the 4 games on that day, would not recommend this place if you want reliable sporting events, I feel let down and disappointed. Will not be back.

Busy place I haven't visited for a long time. Good selection of beers, Big Screen TV sport (which you can easily avoid) and nooks for groups of people to sit, eat and chat. There are a couple of pool tables, too. It's not expensive and the staff provides good service. A mix of people here, means it's a friendly place with outdoor seating for finer days.

Friday 19th January 2024 My partner and I came into town for some us time with the kids at school and decided on here for brunch. I ordered the big breakfast, with conditions as hate tomato,,black pudding and haggis so asked for items to be changed and very lightly cooked. What I received was awesome!? Perfectly cooked to my liking. Was a huge plateful and was awesome!! Best breakfast I’ve had in such a long time. Service was fast, staff very nice. And clean. Throughly enjoyed this. Awesome!!! Will be back!!? Thanks guys

Had a Christmas night out here recently and what a belter, can’t fault the staff here at all it was really busy but still got food and a pint really quickly. Also with the prices of drinks here I will definitely be coming back for more! 😀

I was part of a group of 11 out for their Xmas lunch. I enjoyed the food; albeit the realisation that it was not served on hot plates led to it being posted home quickly.

Great pub! Loads of tables ( upsairs/ down stairs and outside), loads of tvs too. Super central, the foods ok but nothing special, just decent pub grub

Came here to watch the football and to have lunch. Atmosphere was brilliant, staff were friendly. The reason I give it 3 stars is due to the state of the bathrooms. The girls toilet only had one toilet that locked out of a possible 10 or so toilet cubicles and they also were not clean.
