Wonderful place to eat and dance

A great day out. The staff were amazing & the food was good value for the money. On the whole a terrific time.

Good range of draught beers and Good atmosphere

It was a nice pub in a great location however let down by one female member of staff. We visited 01/03/25 at 12.30 and the lady was so rude for no reason. The rest of the staff seemed friendly and approachable but for what ever reason the lady seemed to hate me, other customers and her job. Come to aberdeen alot and so do 100s of my colleagues and non of them will come to this bar again because of her. Otherwise a great sport bar

Really good to watch sporting events and to have a pint, definitely recommend it to others

Really good food for the price you pay. Drinks were brought to table very quickly. Plenty of TVs everywhere (even in the toilet) so you can always see your sport.

Service and atmosphere is fine. Steak was absolutely shait. It was so bad that it's probably the worst steak I ever ate.

Was in today for a few drinks & some food before the free bus to Pittodrie, always a friendly atmosphere with great staff, great food, reasonable prices, your really made to feel part of the Foundry family, thanks again Foundry (Kieren & Mark & the team)

For pub grub they do really good food, and a varied menu. Vegetables available too! Great place to watch the big game, warm atmosphere, good service. Good choice of drinks. A happy discovery.

I came with hamewith crowd yesterday !! i felt very welcome to Boogie at the bar!! i couldn't eat macaroni so i had a turkey relish wrap and chips!! it was delicious!! couldn't eat it all so got it in a box to take home!! I just wanted to say what a lovely time i had and the boogie was fun too!!

I normally give the foundry 5 stars as I've never had a reason to complain until now. My wife ordered the steak pie for her meal,but unfortunately had to leave most of it. The broccoli and carrots wrre wet and when you picked it up the water ran out literally,the mash potatoes had a skin on the bottom and tasteless. Love the place,I will return but I give them good reviews normally but can't on this visit. Hopefully it's a 1 off.

Seems badly managed and offers a poor choice of entertainment. The place could be much busier if they managed it properly. The staff seem miserable, feels as if they don’t want to be there and treat you like an inconvenience. Also could do with a good clean, put me off trying the food. Visited much nicer pubs in Aberdeen.

Excellent pub with good food at a very reasonable price and excellent friendly service. Foundry is like Wetherspoons except better food and clean and tidy

Was amezing moment during my walk in abz .I will be back one day,,if possible. The tenesse fresh l never forguet,,a love it. Great in service price and crew. In the heart of the town. Is amezing.

During the day it's a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. Mostly peoples aged 40s upwards are who occupy this bar. At night, it's disco mad! People of all ages occupy Foundry at night. I believe they have multiple different themed nights there. It's one of those bars that get very busy and you may have to battle your way to get served. However, as for the food, I ordered a burger which the quality wasn't all that great. I did ask for no cheese and they put melted cheese on my burger also. For my personal experience in the food area, it wasn't the best.

Fun pub 🍻 Sports, Disco & socialising

Excellent.. First Class.. decided to treat myself to an all-day breakfast at 7pm which was cooked, served by very hospitable staff and eaten without any fault whatsoever. I would highly recommend the Foundry to anyone wishing a very well prepared, presented and most enjoyable meal.. this is now gonna be my favourite place to eat as one previous Backwynd establishment competitor last week has now lost a customer forever, thanks Foundry You're the best 😋♥️

Great atmosphere haven't tried the food but looks good sense the 4 star but the staff could really do with trying to smile a little more or at lest carry conversation aside from one word answers... pricing for drink is very good giving its location.

A nice, rustic restaurant with lots of delicacies and drinks, whether with or without alcohol, at great prices. We were very satisfied and can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Its a good nightlife experience with a mix of music genres and energetic atmosphere.

Went here for first time and it's just an amazing place to be with friend. Just go and try who has not visited this place. You won't regret.

What a great atmosphere. Great welcoming pub so friendly and the food we had was superb. Was supposed to be dining in a local Chinese but cancelled due to the great vibe and recommendation from a member of staff. (Think her name was betty)

Ok place for short stop off, unless u LOVE sport. So much t.vs for sport, no view outside for tv s. Most staff friendly but there is problems with certain members of staff. Service without a smile is not appreciated. Sorry.

An Aberdeen FC fan pub. There are many sports and football broadcasts here. There is also a disco in the evening.

Place is hoaching, food is prompt, hot and enjoyable and drinks are fairly priced and flowing with quick service.

First visit since refurbishment & great improvement generally tho wall to wall TV screens a bit overwhelming. Very busy Friday afternoon & therefore anticipated slow food service but in fact it was very prompt. First course of sharing nachos bit disappointing as small portion for 2 & very small amount of topping. However our main meals were plentiful & very tasty ! Staff were without exception fantastic so helpful, courteous & welcoming. My only complaint is one shared by soooo many pubs in Aberdeen -- disabled toilets locked necessitating request for key. So reminiscent of being @ school & asking to be excused. I'm sure I'm not the only one that finds this humiliating. To avoid embarrassment went to 'normal' loo which were spotless.

Food was terrible, not as described on menu husband couldn't eat his mixed grill steak was raw and everything else overcooked, burgers say double burger and you only get one , staff said it was the menus fault not the chefs ?????

Surprisingly quick service for such a busy bar. Many TVs since I was last in, and early enough to partake of the food this time.

Popped in here 2 nights in a row this week whilst in the city on business. Champions League on, great booze and food was 'on point'....Will defo be back next time I am up

Good food at a reasonable price

Plenty of screens, you definitely won't miss a goal! 😅 loads of seating, very varied bar, and a pool table too. Same menu/chain as Slains Castle, so the burning hot burger is recommended as it's like being physically attacked by food. Note they are closed for refurbishment 8th Oct 2023 reopening 27th Oct 2023

Came here for food and a few drinks while visiting and Bailey Atilla dave were nothing but attentive and the food by Betty tasted fantastic

It's an ok pub - nothing stands out about it - with a mixed crowd. It's the sort of place where you have 2 or 3 then move on.

Was in last week with my mum who wasn't able to carry the tray. Emma, the bartender, was incredibly attentive, and, without us asking helped my mum and me with those and every other round of drinks that night. Really nice girl, and just wanted to say thanks to her specifically 🙌 Had a great rest of the night and had a little boogie later on!

I asked on reddit for places to watch the football in Aberdeen. Foundry got 2 suggestions. They were right. It's the best bar to watch football in and around the city center that I found. Belter of a boozer.

Came in to foundry for a few drinks recently with friends and received brilliant service, particularly from Emma. So attentive, we made sure to get service from her whilst we were there. 10/10

Yesterday brought us yet another amazing Boogie in the Bar , with more and more newcomers appearing from all walks of life , keen to sample the music , dancing and company which this monthly event brings . For those not familiar , this is a monthly daytime disco aimed at those who love to dance or listen to upbeat music in the company of likeminded individuals . It is for everyone , so the Boogie has evolved into a very safe place even for those who generally might find themselves excluded from such an event. All this is down to the amazing team at the Foundry , headed by Manager Kieren , and Melissa . Their kindness and support is second to none . The effort they go to each month , to make each Boogie special , is so heartwarming . It’s a joy to see what outfit Dave is dressed up in ! He never lets us down 😆. The meals provided ( paid only by voluntary donation) are fabulous . What a chef !!!. I can’t praise this place enough . Check it out and see for yourself

Enjoyed a late drink on a Saturday night here. Nice pub with great nightclubby atmosphere at the weekend for a boogie. Lots and lots of TVs, i can see how this is a great place for sports watching!

The Foundry is simply the place to be in Aberdeen, you’re guaranteed to have a great time here! It’s the best place to watch sport anywhere and when the sport isn’t on there’s always a party with the best DJs. The team are fantastic, so friendly and genuinely look like they are having as good a time as everyone else, big shout out to David and Hannah and the rest of the team! Definitely be back soon!

Decent pub for drinks, following sports (as they’ve got a lot of big TVs), showing off some dance moves (if that’s your thing) but it can get quite busy. The security staff are usually doing an excellent job at keeping the place friendly. There’s plenty of seating available. The pub is also well-located being quite close to Union Street.

Excellent place to join a beer and dance

We had a team night out in the Foundry and it did not disappoint!!! The atmosphere was electric, DJ playing classics that get you dancing and singing all night. The team were brilliant as well, especially Melissa who looked after us all night. It’s also an unbelievable pub to watch sport with loads of big screens showing a wide variety to games. Can’t wait to come back for our next night out!

Phenomenal food, everywhere you look the football is on. Mostly Scottish football so that's great! Still have the English games on a screen here and there. Really cheap prices. Polite staff, way better than any weatherspoons. Cracking warm boozer

The assistant manager was excellent. I asked him questions regarding the menu, and one of the staff, Jodie, was superbly organised and supported immensely; she is an extraordinary personality to Foundry bar. Please keep such employees.

Met up with friends, overall very good except for the heat in the building. Great selection of Brewdog beers & lagers on tap.

Attended the “AFC Mascot” event yesterday, great fun for all the kids and a well organised event.

Went here for evening meal when visiting Aberdeen recently. I ordered the 10 oz rump steak and asked fir it medium to well done. When it came, it was medium rare, big no no for me, a lump if bloody neat on my plate hubby took it back only to ask them to cook tge steak a bit longer, but nooe they wouldn't do that, they ordered me a complete new meal. When the young lady brought it, she apologised fir the 1st one, nice touch. The bar man who took my order initially then came up to ask if everything was okay and again apologised. I cannot fault them for their customer service and the 2nd steak was delicious. Well done The Foundry, you certainty put your customers first.

Lively atmosphere although can be a bit noisy.Difficult to have a conversation.Godd selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.Reasonably priced food and good service.
