The Old Dairy Cafe in Camden

After an early start the friendly team brought over a spectacularly good flat white to my cosy corner and I watched them prepare the day’s focaccia. The owners make it fresh every morning and when it’s gone it’s gone, and it goes quickly since their sandwiches are a very generous size, so generous that they are big enough for two people. While I waited for my friend to show up I as amused to see that they have an eclectic selection of games and reading material. I particularly liked the famous women game which turned out to be a riff on happy families. The owners are clearly proud of their cafe and have made it a very happy place. There’s space outside too.

Me detuve en este lugar hoy y fue increíble. Soy un kiwi y, como resultado, supercrítico con mis blancos planos y el servicio de cualquier café en el que entro. Ambos fueron absolutamente de primera categoría. Si está saliendo del encierro, se está aventurando a regresar a la ciudad por cualquier motivo, consiga un blanco plano decente que le dejará boquiabierto y le dirá al propietario que Lena de FTSQ lo envió.

Tuve una reunión de negocios y pedí deliberadamente que se trasladara del Pret local a aquí, ya que creo en apoyar a las pequeñas empresas locales siempre que sea posible. Llegamos a las 7. 35 - el letrero decía que la apertura era a las 7. 30) Empujó la puerta y fue recibida por un fuerte y grosero, "no estamos abiertos, no puedes ver que las luces están apagadas". Le dije "oh, perdón, su letrero dice que está abierto y la puerta no estaba cerrada", a lo que el muchacho respondió "bueno, no lo estamos". ¡Desde entonces descubrí que los dos muchachos que conocí eran los dueños! ! ! ! ! Increíble. ¡He trabajado en restaurantes toda mi vida y no puedo creer que esta sea la actitud de nadie y mucho menos propietarios! No puedo imaginar por qué alguien con una actitud tan negativa incluso soñaría con trabajar en nuestra industria. Es una pena ya que el lugar es genial. Evite y gaste su dinero con otras cafeterías locales que trabajan arduamente y que apreciarán la costumbre y el apoyo.

Nunca se me hizo sentir como un inconveniente o incluso tan indeseable como un cliente al intentar comprar un café y pasteles. ¡Es una lástima ya que me gustaría apoyar a un negocio local independiente y me hubiera encantado visitar la cafetería con regularidad!Tal vez si el personal aprende cómo y cómo no tratar a los clientes y se da cuenta de dónde provienen sus ingresos, este lugar podría ser más exitoso.

the setting is great, the coffee is good, but the service is very unfriendly and uninterested. I’ve been here twice and both times the staff have been awful. The place would be 5* if the staff were nice.

Este solía ser un gran lugar para el café, un café agradable y de gran sabor, me gustaría ir a mi trabajo y llevar amigos allí también. Nice little coffee and hot chocolate along with pastries (brownies, muffins, pain au chocolat and croissants) in a cozy and quiet atmosphere ! Close to YHA Central London which is really nice !

Changed ownership and the new owners don't seem to care as much – I had a bad experience today! I would avoid, the staff were unfriendly and very unhelpful in one simple transaction.

Tuve la suerte de elegir un día en el que había algunas personas en la cafetería pero no demasiadas. No solo café sino también pasteles encantadores. Vale la pena una visita.Por cierto, ahora llamado Mile 27: el café está vinculado a Mile 27 Run Collective es un colectivo social fundado en Londres en 2016.

Es fácil ser un gran café, pero muy pocos lo son. El truco es ser apasionado al respecto. Sirve un buen café; se amable, educado, servicial, alegre; usa los productos más frescos; mantener el lugar limpio; mantenlo simple.Esta es una de las nuevas y crecientes variedades de cafeterías en Londres que tiene este crack. En realidad podría ser el mejor. Sin duda, vale la pena frecuentar y hacer todo lo posible para encontrarlo.Además, al usar tazas compostables han perdido un poco más de beneficio por el bien del medio ambiente y eso es lo suficientemente bueno para mí.

This place serves really great coffee. Staff are lovely and very efficient. Lots of milk options including Bonsoy. It's also a running club, but I haven't investigated that side of things yet

Cafetería indep a la vuelta de la esquina de la Embajada de Mozambique es el lugar ideal para pasar el rato mientras espera por la embajada para abrir (o recuperarse de su visita! ): tortas y café con un montón de gente estupenda que iban a recoger los desayunos. El club parece atractivo para ejecutar otro día para ejecutar todo!

Excellent coffee, friendly staff and awesome little building near the picturesque Fitzroy Square. The food always looks tasty and they do a great loyalty scheme - buy 4 coffees for a free one.

Que los chicos que llevan el café es amable y muy entusiasta. Merece la pena implicarse en su club de carrera. Simplemente preguntar y estarán más que dispuestos a decir más. O si no lo hacen sus tiempos de ejecución, ver sus pertenencias mientras va a correr alrededor Fitzrovia.

Cafetería independiente con excelente café, comida, ambiente y servicio, y ubicado en un hermoso edificio. La variedad de comida que ofrecen es muy bueno para un lugar pequeño, y es ideal para el desayuno, el almuerzo, bocadillos, etc. Y las mercancías recién horneados son geniales. Lugar encantador.

This is a lovely lunch spot in the middle of Marylbone. For £5 you get a hot meal with salads - I had the lasagna with chickpeas, greens and slaw. Nice seating inside and out and a real homey feel. Highly recommend, a little gem

Encantador, cafetería independiente situado entre las estaciones de metro de Warren Street y Great Portland Street. Buen café Illy y tuve un queso muy sencilla pero muy sabrosa sandwichera. Amable, acogedor y completamente encantador.

i love going into this cafe the freshly baked smell of cakes and food each morning is just delightful. you feel like you're walking into a homely kitchen it's so welcoming and so are the ladies who run it.

A great atmosphere for a simple but very tasty lunch served up by two very nice women. The building itself is worth a visit.

As well as the really friendly service, fab coffee and delicious fresh food, I love the story of this old cafe. Cows were driven here from Wales to be milked for the residents of Fitzrovia! The old signage - JM Evans - and beautiful floor and wall tiles are characterful signs of days gone by. A great place to sit or for takeaway lunch and drinks. And I love the area too - Fitzroy Square is a stone's throw away. One of my favourite London cafes.

Often visit here to grab lunch while at work.The café is run by some lovely ladies, the food is good honest fresh produce.Daily the options change, offering hot, cold and salads. If you're in the mood some lovely sweeter treats too.Recommend dropping by if you're in the area.

A great place for a wholesome lunch. The food was delicious - cottage pie with a lovely salad. The cafe has great character. The cost for two with a tea and latte was just over £15. This could become a regular lunch venue.

This is a nice basic family run café in a lovely old building. Nothing flashy here, just good honest tasty food. The coffee deserves a special mention - above average for this type of café. Almost artisan coffee shop standard – very nice.

Great little cafe with the all the charms of an old building that has kept its original features. Good coffee and porridge with honey. I always have the same thing, but there is plenty of other food on offer. Very friendly and kind hearted staff. Highly recommended.

Really nice little cafe with delicious sales and banana flapjacks a particular favourite. Staff are friendly and efficient and the place has a nice relaxed atmosphere. A charming respite from the bustle of the city in this calm area of Fitzrovia.

We needed a coffee and dropped in for an Americano (£1.90) and Latte (£2.20). Both very good. The cafe retains the tiles and murals of the former dairy and the tables indoors have world maps as cloths. An interesting and attractive place.

I came here often on my short visit. Great food and they are very sweet here and look up for their customers. Nice place to start the day.

Popped into this cafe, had the quiche, my boyfriend had the omelette. Would definitely recommend, food was very very tasty, delicious salad included in each which a lemony dressing which i asked the recipe for.Omelette was one of the best i had ever tasted! Could have added a biscuit in with each coffee, but overall would definitely recommend, very tasty reasonably priced, and lovely staff.

Friendly service, excellent coffee and snacks. A quiet location which has retained its old character.
